Hello!I have created a project using cubemx a few years ago. i know which cubemx version i have used in this project but i cant seem to find out which cube repository version i have used.  What is the way to find it? can i find the repository version somewhere in the code?  thanks in advance for your advice :)

Hi, I'm trying to create my first project with ethernet on STM32H7. I tried to give an example with a nulceo with a similar chip and I succeeded, now I'm moving on to my custom board.I configured the system with STM32CubeIDE, generated the code and just tried to launch the program, what happens is that during initialization, at this point:  /* Dummy read to sync with ETH */ (void)SYSCFG->PMCR; /* Ethernet Software reset */ /* Set the SWR bit: resets all MAC subsystem internal registers and logic */ /* After reset all the registers holds their respective reset values */ SET_BIT(heth->Instance->DMAMR, ETH_DMAMR_SWR); /* Get tick */ tickstart = HAL_GetTick(); /* Wait for software reset */ while (READ_BIT(heth->Instance->DMAMR, ETH_DMAMR_SWR) > 0U) { if (((HAL_GetTick() - tickstart) > ETH_SWRESET_TIMEOUT)) { /* Set Error Code */ heth->ErrorCode = HAL_ETH_ERROR_TIMEOUT; /* Set State as Error */ heth->gState = HAL_ETH_STATE_ERROR; /* Return

When I configure 8 EDATA sectors withFLASH_OBInitStruct.OptionType = OPTIONBYTE_EDATA;FLASH_OBInitStruct.Banks = FLASH_BANK_1;FLASH_OBInitStruct.EDATASize = 8;HAL_FLASHEx_OBProgram(&FLASH_OBInitStruct); and then I read the result: FLASH_OBInitStruct.Banks = FLASH_BANK_1;HAL_FLASHEx_OBGetConfig(&FLASH_OBInitStruct);The FLASH_OBInitStruct.EDATASize member has the value 3. This is caused by two issues:In CMSIS/Device/stm32h563xx.h (and 562xx, 573xx and 503xx as well)#define FLASH_EDATAR_EDATA_STRT_Msk (0x3UL << FLASH_EDATAR_EDATA_STRT_Pos) /*!< 0x00000003 */while according to the datasheets this field is 3 bits wide:I've changed the mask to 0x7.Now when I read EDATASize, I get the value of 7 (instead of 8).This is because FLASH_OB_EDATAConfig uses EDATASize - 1, but FLASH_OB_EDATAConfig fails to add 1 to the result.I've modified FLASH_OB_GetEDATA to add 1 to EDATASize, and also made a check on FLASH_EDATAR_EDATA_EN to avoid that zero FLA

 Hello,I am downloading the firmware \STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.17.0\Projects\STM32WB_Copro_Wireless_Binaries\STM32WB1x\stm32wb1x_BLE_Stack_full_fw.bin to the STM32WB15CC using STM32CubeProgrammer v2.14.0, with USB cable.At the end, I have :    11:21:53:481 : Error: failed to download Segment[0]    11:21:53:481 : Error: failed to download the File If I try to download  stm32wb1x_Safeboot_fw.bin,  there is no error.Where is the problem ? All products are from STMicroelectronics...Thank you for help.                                               FWX.

Yesterday, the thread view changed from showing about 3 threads per page to about 10 or so by only showing the title and not a preview of the contents. It is so much better. It's something that has been suggested by myself and others multiple times. So thanks for that.I'm hoping this was a deliberate change and won't be changing back.I think it also shows users that the title matters so they should be more incentivized to pick a good title rather than something like "XYZ doesn't work". Glad we don't have many posts with the entire post in the title anymore.Progress.

D:/ST/STM32CubeIDE/workspace_1.14.0/azure/Application/Debug/../Core/Src/tx_initialize_low_level.S:147: undefined reference to `_stack_bottom'I config the project just with these simple steps, without any coding.

Trying to enable both USB and BLE at the same time I encountered difficultyThe USB failed to run.I encountered the following ticket: usb-device-does-not-work-when-starting-ble-stack-on-stm32wb55 which had an example attached to it.After trying several things from that example we saw that the only thing I needed was to lock HW semaphore number 5 (Which I found on other projects to be defined as CFG_HW_CLK48_CONFIG_SEMID).Do note that the semaphore is never being releasedI'm not entirely sure if what I did was correct.My USB clock configuration is:       LL_HSEM_1StepLock(HSEM, 5); // USB clock enable memset(&PeriphClkInitStruct, 0, sizeof(PeriphClkInitStruct)); PeriphClkInitStruct.PeriphClockSelection = RCC_PERIPHCLK_USB; PeriphClkInitStruct.UsbClockSelection = RCC_USBCLKSOURCE_HSI48; if (HAL_RCCEx_PeriphCLKConfig(&PeriphClkInitStruct) != HAL_OK) { goto PeripheralClocksErr; } __HAL_RCC_USB_CLK_ENABLE();    Anyone fr

HiI would like to know about filter behavior in ID list mode and 16bit scale.I would like to receive 3 standard IDs.I know that with the combination of ID list and 16bit scale, I can receive 4 standard IDs. In this case, one will remain when setting in the CAN_FiR1/CAN_FiR2 register. If there is a surplus, the initial value of this CAN_FiR1/CAN_FiR2 register is undefined, so is it better to set it to 0x0000 or to set one of the three IDs that you want to receive? If you set 0x0000, you will be explicitly set to receive ID=0x000, so I am thinking of setting one of the three IDs you want to receive.For ID List (16bit), Filter Num is 0 to 3. With the following settings, CAN ID 0x001 will be set in two locations( 0 or 3).CAN ID 0x001 is Filter Num = 0CAN ID 0x002 is Filter Num = 1CAN ID 0x003 is Filter Num = 2CAN ID 0x001 is Filter Num = 4In this case, is the Filter Num stored in the receiving mailbox always 0? Or does it occur randomly as 0 or 3?

Hi all, Is there any difference between LSM6DSV16x and LSM6DSV16xTR except the packaging?Thanks in advance.

Hello,I'm writing an application running on Windows and Linux, using Qt to update STM32WB15CC application.I have read AN5247 document and implement it, but my Qt application never receive the last Reboot Indicatatione ( characteristic uuid: "{0000fe23-8e22-4541-9d4c-21edae82ed19}"). I have configured it by writing [0x01,0x00] to descriptor of {00002902-...}.First question: how to determine the value of the second byte in the BOOT REQUEST (Sector Index) for characteristic {0000FE11-8e22-4541-9d4c-21edae82ed19} ? How to caluate it?Second question: after reboot and connect to OTA service, do I need to wait before sending command, or after sending command and before sending data?Thank you for help.

Hi, I would like to enable RNDIS + VCP on this MCU. Is there an option to do that?I do not know how to enable only RNDIS for this MCU too (I do not see this on drop down with Class for FS IP).

I'm using STM32CubeIDE 1.11 and I want to import an existing file:File --> Import --> Exsisting Projects into Workspace --> Select Root DirectoryI get the following error when I try to open the .ioc file:File --> Import --> Exsisting Projects into Workspace --> Select Root DirectoryI downloaded version 6.8.0 from the site and installed it, but the error persists.If possible, I would not like to upgrade STM32CubeIDE to version 1.14Maybe I have both versions on my pc and should uninstall the older one?How do I proceed?  Thanks.

Hi!Today, when i opened my TouchGFX 4.22.0, I found this strange banner.When I clicked on the link to the documentation page, the web browser opened to https://support.touchgfx.com/4.23 Is it happening at someone else?In attaching the image of the banner

Hi I made a program for STM32F103RG using STM32CubeMX and STM32CubeIDE a few years ago. The program is using the USB Device Mass storage software pack. I thought that I should update it with the latest version of it and made a new project since the old config file was too old for the latest SMT32CubeMX version. I configured the MCU in the same way and added my own code. When I build my code now the size of the program is now doubled in size, but still works the same. The old version was 17 kB and the new is 38 kB. Does anyone know why it has grown that much?

Good morning, currently I'm working on this task is to set the tag to have a different access levels.I downloaded IOS "NFC Tap" App to try out and there's this feature called, "Area Security Status".My question is,for "Readable, write protected by password", is it possible to make some sections to be readable and some cannot be read from the tag?For example,There're total 5 URI Records in the tag, Device 1 can access to first 3 URI Records, butDevice 2 can access to all 5 URI Records.Let's say, Device 2 (from manufacturer) comes with password so it can access to all the NDEF Records, but Device 1 is a software application for the external users to try out so it only some sections is readable.Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide!

Hi,I made project that samples audio signals from the ADC at a constant rate. The trigger signal for the ADC conversion is generated by a timer. Now here's the thing:The code works fine on my STM32L432 Nucleo, STM32L4R5 Nucleo and STM32F429 Disco, but it does not work with the STM32F746 Disco. It looks like the trigger signal from the timer does not get through to ADC3, because I can work-around by using ADC_SOFTWARE_START and start the conversion manually by setting the SWSTART-Flag in the Timer ISR (in this case everything works fine again). I checked the Timer and ADC registers with the debugger and their content appears to be correct, I also tried several different timers, but to no avail.A major difference is that all other MCUs use ADC1 where as the STM32F746 uses ADC3 (as only its inputs are available).The ADC3 trigger input is configured like this: hadcx.Init.ExternalTrigConv = ADC_EXTERNALTRIGCONV_T4_TRGO; hadcx.Init.ExternalTrigConvEdge = ADC_EXTERNALTRIGCONVEDGE_RISING;

When I enable UCPD1 in Sink mode on STM32L552 using CubeMX the clock generator tab still lists the IP as being disabled. How do I manage to get it enabled properly?

Hi,When using the STM32CubeMX to configure the ethernet pins for the STM32H573VI, the TXD1 and TX_EN pins can be configured to the PB13 and PB14 pins. But the STM32CubeMX does not allow these pins to be configured for ethernet for the STM32H563VI. In the datasheet of both, PB13 and PB14 cannot be configured for ethernet. I wonder if PB13 and PB14 really cannot be configured for ethernet?

CubeMX (at least since version 6.7, maybe longer) generates the lwippools.h with#ifdef __cplusplus extern "C" { #endifwhich gives empty code if you use the C compiler. But if you include the lwip.h in a .cpp file, it won't compile.This is because lwippools.h is not used as standard header file but is included inside a enum-declaration/definition in memp.h (via memp_std.h):typedef enum { #define LWIP_MEMPOOL(name,num,size,desc) MEMP_##name, #include "lwip/priv/memp_std.h" MEMP_MAX } memp_t;And now if you let a C++ compiler run over this, you have a extern "C" {...} inside your enum. The long list of errors begins with:In file included from ../Middlewares/Third_Party/LwIP/src/include/lwip/priv/memp_std.h:142, from ../Middlewares/Third_Party/LwIP/src/include/lwip/memp.h:54, from ../LWIP/App/lwip.h:31, from ../Application/Ethernet/EthernetConnection.cpp:13: ../LWIP/Target/lwippools.h:32:2: error: expected identifier before 'extern' 32 | extern "C" { | ^~~~~~ ../LWIP/Target/lwippools.

IDE : STM32CubeIDE Version 1.12.1firmware Package: FW_F1 V1.8.5Device : STM32F103C8T6I found that when I set MX -> Pinout & Configuration -> System Core -> Sys -> Debug = No Debug, I can't use some pins, especially those associated with JTAG. I discovered that in the file stm32f1xx_hal_msp.c the HAL_MspInit function does not put __HAL_AFIO_REMAP_SWJ_DISABLE to configure the AFIO_MAPR register (SWJ_CFG) and this register in the STM32F103C8T6 after the reset is put in Full SWJ mode (JTAG-DP + SW-DP) (information obtained from section 9.4.2 of the RM0008 manual. )I force the code as follows:void HAL_MspInit(void){/* USER CODE BEGIN MspInit 0 *//* USER CODE END MspInit 0 */__HAL_RCC_AFIO_CLK_ENABLE();__HAL_RCC_PWR_CLK_ENABLE();/* System interrupt init*//* Peripheral interrupt init *//* PVD_IRQn interrupt configuration */HAL_NVIC_SetPriority(PVD_IRQn, 0, 0);HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(PVD_IRQn);/* USER CODE BEGIN MspInit 1 */#if defined(RELEASE_VERSION)__HAL_AFIO_REMAP_SWJ_DISABLE();

hello, I am applying the safety library provided by st company to stm32f103c8.In the example provided, the capture function of TIM5 is connected to the LSI oscillator, but the MCU (stm32f103c8) I use does not seem to be able to connect to the LSI oscillator.I need your advice.

Hi,I'm trying to analyze my Keras model (converted from Keras) in STM32 X-CUBE-AI version 8.1.0. But it shows this error: TOOL ERROR: 'gbk' code can't decode byte 0xb8 in position 577:illegal multibyte sequence.As shown in the picture.But I I'm trying to analyze in STM32 X-CUBE-AI version 7.3.0. It can be analyzed!!!Any help would be welcome!

My target:I want to use the same uart lines(RX line and TX line) to achieve communication between computers and multiple devices (in other words: multiple slave devices, computer as master). I use some STM32F072C8 as slave devices, and configure these slave devices as follows:configure USART1 to DMA send modeDisable exti interrupt at USART1 TX gpio PA9 or enable the interrupt and add some delay time in the interrupt handle function.Total methord:I use computer to send a message through UART. The slave devices reply the message as soon as receiving the  master message by uart.Avoid slave devices sending jam. Test result:when I disable the exti interrupt at USART1 TX gpio PA9, the slave devices will send data at the same time so the computer cannot receive correct data.when I enable the exti interrupt at USART1 TX gpio PA9 and add some delay time in the interrupt handle function, the slave devices will send data one by one and the computer can receive all correct data

There is any possibility to detect exact point on  Rising to Falling or Falling to Rising place .Because when i enabling  Falling edge or Rising/Falling detection in cube ide and same time if  i2c  sensor activated then interrupt signal generated and Interrupt Call Back has been activated two times because LOW level interrupt time (t) .

hello , where can i see cpu cycle count from one breakpoint to next breakpoint in stmcubeide ? i am using stm32f103 board.
