I’ve been working on a project for a while and initially generated the code only once at the beginning to set up the hardware configuration. Recently, I updated STM32CubeIDE from version 1.14.1 to 1.15.0. After updating, I regenerated the code without making any additional configurations, yet I noticed that ADC1 and ADC2 stopped reading data. I've double-checked the configuration and the clock settings, and they appear identical to what I had previously. I also compared the HAL files, and they seem fine. All other peripherals like SPI, UART, and I2C are functioning correctly, except for the ADC. Am I missing something here?

Hi,What I want to implement is I2C communication. There is one master(NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q) and slave(LK432KC). Master transmit TX_Buffer_1 which is double 3.0and Slave recieve it in RX_Buffer_1. Slave doubled RX_Buffer_1 and transmit to master. I use memcpy and Slave_RxCallback function to implement it.I attached 2 main file each is master and slave. And I also have logic analyzer to detect SCL and SDA line. In my code, Master transmit only 1 slave address (0x08) like this picture, but sometime it appear like this..  Here is my questionI think the main problem is noise of my HW system.but I'm not sure.so plz check whether my code is wrong or not.1. Do I need more or less Delay time?2. Is it okay to use polling mode in Master and interrupt mode in Slave? what's the recommendation?3.I need double data type. Can I use 8byte double type in I2C function? How??4. Is there any other problem in my code?? It's my first time to use STM32..Thank you

Hi,I am currently working on a project using an STM32U5 series microcontroller, and I have encountered a significant build issue with numerous errors related to the HAL driver.Attached picture is just some of error code. (First and the last page)It made1675 errors and 381 warnings.I think my code doesn't have any problem becuase It worked well just few minutes ago.Thank you.

Hello,we are using STM32H735G-DK Eval Boards equipped with differently marked STM32H735IGK6U chips. One saying:-------------------STM32H735IGK6UAA126   VQ ZTWN AA 109                    D2--------------------and the other one saying:-------------------STM32H735IGK6UAA126   VQ ZTWN AA 109                    D3--------------------We could not find the meaning of "D2" and "D3" but "D2" is producing HardFaults whereas "D3" is not so we are assuming that these do have different silicon revisions. Could you help us identifying the silicon revision of the chips or what else is "D2" and "D3" standing for? We also attached photos of the different markings. Thank you and best regardsRK_IOT

Hi,Everything was working fine with my stm32wb55 until it suddenly decided to stop working. Now when I tried to upload the example firmware for ble p2pserver and connect to the web application provided by stm, i am able to connect, but the web application shows data throughput for a second and then the page reloads. I tried erasing the chip, and reuploading the wireless stack, but nothing seems to work. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.Edit: i tried running the data throughput example and this is the serial output i was getting:>>== WIRELESS_FW_RUNNING >>== DBGMCU_GetRevisionID= 2003>>== DBGMCU_GetDeviceID= 495Success: SHCI_C2_BLE_Init command==>> Start Ble_Hci_Gap_Gatt_Init functionSuccess: hci_reset commandSuccess: aci_hal_write_config_data command - CONFIG_DATA_PUBADDR_OFFSETPublic Bluetooth Address: 00:80:e1:27:d6:6fSuccess: aci_hal_write_config_data command - CONFIG_DATA_IR_OFFSETSuccess: aci_hal_write_config_data command - CO

hello im doing a school project using a Nucleo-F411RE with a I-NUCLEO-LRWAN1 expansion, anyone got a good text or video tutorial how i connect the two boards?im using the stm32cubeide

Hi,I would like to ask about the difference between the two modes of offset (PerformOffsetSimpleCalibration and PerformOffsetPerVCSELCalibration).Because when the crosstalk calibration value is high(calibrationData.customer.algo_crosstalk_compensation_plane_offset_kcps>8000),I use the " PerVCSELCalibration" mode, the offset calibration value will be very large, causing my distance data to wait a lot.But when the crosstalk calibration is high and I use "SimpleCalibration" mode, the offset calibration value is not very large and the distance data is normal. So I would like to know more about it:1, the difference in how the two offset modes work.2, does the crosstalk calibration value have any effect on the offset calibration? Thanks

 I can build using C:\ST\STM32CubeIDE_1.11.2\STM32CubeIDE\headless-build.bat -import ./.. -cleanBuild PROJECTNAME/Debug or C:\ST\STM32CubeIDE_1.11.2\STM32CubeIDE\headless-build.bat -import ./.. -build PROJECTNAME/Debug In PowerShell or older command prompt running from the Source/TouchGFX folder in my project.However if I copy the exact line into "Compile Target Command" in TouchGFX Designer I get the following error: URI: file:/C:/source/CUSTOMER_NAME/PROJECTNAME/Source is not valid in the workspace! I tried the following:putting it in a batch file Build.cmdRunning it with cmd.exe /c "MY COMMAND"running the batchfile with cmd.exe /c "Build.cmd"Using the full path of the project instead of "./..".Batch file:  OFF echo incrementally building... Hi everybody, After several attempts, I cannot correctly declare my variables in the files. I'm a little lost with file declarations to reach certain variables delcared elsewhereThis is why I decided to come and ask for help. I 'm actually work on a screen with st7567 driver.For that I have create à font.h to stock some font : like this    // Character bitmaps for Microsoft Sans Serif 10pt const uint8_t microsoftSansSerif_10pt[] = { // @0 '!' (1 pixels wide) // # // # // # // # // # // # // # // # // // # 0xFF, 0x02, // @2 '"' (3 pixels wide) // # # // # # // # # // # # 0x0F, 0x00, 0x0F,     after I have create a driver to communciate with the st7567 driver.I have call this files st7567_driver.h and st7567_driver.c . In the st7567_driver.c I declared file like this :    /************************************************************************************** * Included Files *****************

Hi, I'm wondering if write and erase external flash menory can be done when XIP mode on the same external Octal-Flash?I read RM0477 Rev 4.pdf and it told not recommand to programm the flash in this mode, and indirect mode can do that.Since the MX66UW supports RWW(Read While Write), can this feature be done on H7RS platform? I think it is possible but may encounter a burden on Cortex-M7 self instruction or cache prefetch operation and may never stops, does this affect when I part this flash memory into code section and data section?

Hi STM Team,we heard at the embeddedWorld 2024 that ST would focus more on a development enviromend integration to VSCode for STM32 microcontrollers. How is that planned and what is the timeline for that? Is STM32CubeIDE going to be stopped then? best regardsPeer

Hi All,I am new in Zigbee programming and I like to get some starting point to make server-client model. Up to now, I am using STM32CubeIDE tool to program with .ioc file to setting up the HW. Eventually I would like to use STM32WB5MMG processor and Zigbee for server-client communication. What I know is that I need to enable the RF, RTC and HSEM to activate the Zigbee in this DK (and my PCBA). After this, I think there would be some code to start Zigbee for SW-wise, then some APIs to send data into Zigbee network. I tried to see the ST provided examples, but could not understand well how to1. start zigbee network: is there any APIs for this? If one side is a server side and the other side is client side, how I can do?2. APIs to send and receive data: I assume there is some callback function to receive. Is there pre-defined callback function to receive Zigbee data? How about to send data to Zigbee network?3. Any example to call APIs from main() or sub-functions in commninity?4. How to d

Hi everyone, I am trying to build my custom BLE application with CubeMX (v6.11.0) and STM32CubeIDE: v1.15.0 using a STM32WB55 with FW package: v.1.19.0.Due to its other functions I would like to use ThreadX for that. However, when generating code with CubeMX it always uses the sequencer files for the BLE application (other features work well). Is there any way to generate BLE files based on ThreadX? Or if not, at least an option to stop overwriting my app_ble.c if I have changed it manually once?I can run the Heartrate app with ThreadX but now want to move to a custom BLE application. (sequencer is not enabled in CubeMX, but AZ-RTOS is) Thanks,Lo

Hi,I have a PCB with F411 as MCU.MCU VBAT pin is directly connected to battery positive pin.I try to use ADC1 to read the VBAT value. Here is the ADC1 init code:  ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0}; /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC1_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END ADC1_Init 1 */ /** Configure the global features of the ADC (Clock, Resolution, Data Alignment and number of conversion) */ hadc1.Instance = ADC1; hadc1.Init.ClockPrescaler = ADC_CLOCK_SYNC_PCLK_DIV4; hadc1.Init.Resolution = ADC_RESOLUTION_12B; hadc1.Init.ScanConvMode = ENABLE; hadc1.Init.ContinuousConvMode = ENABLE; hadc1.Init.DiscontinuousConvMode = DISABLE; hadc1.Init.ExternalTrigConvEdge = ADC_EXTERNALTRIGCONVEDGE_NONE; hadc1.Init.ExternalTrigConv = ADC_SOFTWARE_START; hadc1.Init.DataAlign = ADC_DATAALIGN_RIGHT; hadc1.Init.NbrOfConversion = 1; hadc1.Init.DMAContinuousRequests = ENABLE; hadc1.Init.EOCSelection = ADC_EOC_SINGLE_CONV; if (HAL_ADC_Init(&hadc1) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } /** Config

Hi everybody!I implemented a keyboard into my project. (I tested the keyboard widget in a separated project, and it worked well). If I use the keyboard in my dashboard project, it make weird things. If i entry a value, i write to the eeprom(M95320). If is restart the dashboard, i read all eeprom value. On the "Beállítások 1" screen work perfect the keyboard and value entry. But on the "Beállítások 2" doesn't it work good. The end of the video you can see this.Keyboard text area wrong and when(2:29) i entry a value to "Levegő tartály szorzó", then change the values some textarea to zero and "Emap nyomás szorzó" will be 5.0.I don't know where to look for the error, but it's very strange that it doesn't always do it.Here is the video:Youtube video Thanks!

Hello everyoneI need to have the pspice model of LIS344ALH (i know that this product is not longer available)I try do it with the datasheet but i don't have enought infoCan someone help with it ? :)Thanks ;)

Hi CommunityHope you guys are well. I am trying to implement Bluetooth and emulated eeprom working. i have followed the ble_heartrate_eeprom_emul example and i got blue tooth and eeprom emulation working, the problem i am having is when the EEPROM emulation is implement   my function in custom_stm.c does not work properly, for example when i used any of the GPIO, the controller goes into hard fault, and current went from 0.013A to 0.150A , but as soon as i remove the eeprom emulation code , everything works perfectly. so basically i cant get my things working when there is eeprom emulation , i have tried to release the semaphore 7 in my function but still the same.  there is one more thing, in app_entry.c we have default code , check file attached, but the ble heart rate eeprom emulation tell us to put this code, check file attached, and if i put that code and generate the code again from cubemx it is removed.Assistance is appreciated!

Dear STM support team.My name is Dai. I am working at G-innovation Corporation. Now I have a project using the STM Chip(STM32F0xx).I use the STM32CubeMX (version 6.11.0) to create a project using the STM32F091VBT6 with CMIS_RTOS.this project aims to study all CMSIS-RTOS APIs.the function of the project include:- 6 thread: "idle thread" to blink an LED at 0.5Hz.              "SWI thread: is reserved.             "dut1 thread" to send counter log to the PC over UART1, "dut2 thread", "dut3 thread" and "dut4 thread" as the same "dut1 thread".             mutex to protect the "debug_printf" function.I received a "HardFault_Handler() at stm32f0xx_it.c 0x80033f4" after running it for several milliseconds.I have attached my project, the UART log, and the Debug log to this post.everybody helps me to debug and fix this bug.Regards,

Hi everyone,I am using SPC58 MCU and Autodevkit IDE. In that I have taken Avas_Compact_Test_Application example as the base source code1. And, During execution, before integration of FreeRtos the execution was entering osalThreadDelayMilliseconds()      and coming out of it and executing further code, but after integration of FreeRtos, the execution is entering                osalThreadDelayMilliseconds() but not coming out of that API and further code is not getting executed. I have            not modified anything in the base source code expect integration of FreeRtos even though I'm facing this                  problem. Can anyone help me to come out this problem. 2. If I run base code it is working fine and if I just import FreeRtos Components without any modifications in source      code then it is building through but getting "NACK_

I'm trying to run QT examples on a build created using st-example-image-qt (Ecosystem v2.1) on our custom board. Hello All,I bought the NUCLEO-F446ZE board and would like to use Ethernet port but it is not soldered onto the board.Which RJ45 jack do I need to buy? Could someone provide reference to Mouser or Digikey?

Hello,Does someone know where the Backup SRAM is located on STM32F746 (at which address)? I didn't find it in the documentation (RM0385).Thanks !

Hello, I'm trying to build a simple GUI Application with TouchGFX. And right now im trying to resize the updated area (make it bigger than needed) to get it byte aligned and because of other reasons as well.I`ve found one Person who described it here. He has overwritten the Function  void FrontendApplication::draw(Rect& rect) { // Make sure the draw area is always byte aligned rect.x -= (rect.x % 8); rect.width = ((rect.width + 7) / 8) * 8; Application::draw(rect); } like this (Copyright to Mike Norgate - see the link).I dont need exactly this function but i need to resize it at the same position in the code. So i tried to reproduced it but i got confused. I found here some mentioning of the function in touchgfx/Application.hpp but its mentioned under protected functions. So ive looked in my generated code, but in the TouchGFX/FrontendApplication.hpp there is no  function like this and i couldnt find a application.hpp as well. S
