I am using STM32H5RE23T6. I implemented the function of receiving data from the FDCAN line. When I select FDCAN mode without BRS, it works without any problems. When I select with BRS mode.I set the arbitration phase to 1mbps.I set the data phase to 8 mbps. I cannot receive 8Mbps data in BRS mode. I set the data phase speed to 2Mbps. I can receive data in BRS mode, but I cannot receive data at 8Mbps. I have 2 reasons for this. Firstly, the can transceiver may not support this speed. The can transceiver I use is TCAN334D.It says up to 1 Mbps in the datasheet, but I was able to get 2Mbps as well. My other reason isHAL_FDCAN_ConfigTxDelayCompensation and HAL_FDCAN_EnableTxDelayCompensation We can send data up to 8Mbps using the functions, I saw on the forum that it says so in this link. But I don't know how to do it. Can anyone explain in more detail?

Hello!I am just getting started with STM32 universe. I've already finished my first project using the IDE SW4STM32 and I board I've designed using the STM32F070CBT. I've also used STM32CubeMX to generate the basic code.I wanted to keep using this board, as it's fully tested and all the hardware seems to work fine. But I just found a problem trying to implement a way to send a break signal before sending the DMX frame.I'm using __HAL_UART_DISABLE(&huart1) and __HAL_UART_ENABLE(&huart1) to try to manage the TX1 (PA9) pin, but even though I've tried to just do a simple blink, I can't get any control. It's not doing the break signal at all.__HAL_UART_DISABLE(&huart1);   HAL_GPIO_WritePin(TX1_Port, TX1_Pin, 0); delay_us(150); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(TX1_Port, TX1_Pin, 1); delay_us(12);   __HAL_UART_ENABLE(&huart1);   HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart1,(uint8_t *)DMX_test,3,0xFFFF);I am a bit desperate as it's the only detail I'm missing to finish this project. I'm

Hi.  My TGFX project is based on a Swipe Container employing multiple screens. Each 'swipe' will bring a set of widgets into view that are responsible for many different settings. Amongst these widgets are pairs of Radio Buttons which should work independently of - for example - another pair, located on another screen in the Swipe Container.I notice that all of the radio buttons I have impleneted thus far belong to a single Radio Button Group in TouchGFX Designer (identified in the Properties Menu under Group).  I don't see a way of adding multiple entries into this property field in order to handle the values of another pair.  In other words the name given to the first array of buttons in the Radio Button Group manages all radio buttons added thereafter. This is not the behaviour I am looking for as, interacting with one pair of buttons on one screen - for example - an on/off pair, directly affects the values set of another pair on another screen. Currently, my proj

Hello!!!I worked before with version 6.9.1 on my laptop (Win8.1) and it worked. Then I bought the PC: Windows 10 Enterprise 22H2 build 19045.5131, AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 12-Core Processor, 32 GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti.I decided to install the new versions CubeIDE (1.16.1) and CubeMX (6.12.1). OK, I worked with IDE and everything was fine even with old project. Then I needed to change some settings and pins. I opened CubeMX and migrate my old .ioc there started some strange things:- CubeMX is loading my system (come one... look at my PC properties)- didn't generated code but saved parameters to .iocNote: I tried to continue with old version CubeMX but it worked until the CubeMX started to freezing. After I closed .ioc and when I open it again - see the picture (white picture) Then I decided to make a new one .ioc. And what happened:- CubeMX is loading my system with some operation- I configurated system properties, timers, clocks, connectivi

I get the time in one thread with following code:   RTC_TimeTypeDef ti = {0}; RTC_DateTypeDef da = {0}; HAL_RTC_GetTime(& hrtc, ti, RTC_FORMAT_BIN); HAL_RTC_GetDate(& hrtc, da, RTC_FORMAT_BIN); It jumps from 12:59 to 1:00 instead 13:00, With another project which uses an older firmware and different pcb but same MCU this does not happen. Can this be a probem in the Cube Ide HAL 1.28.1? Or a problem with the RTC itself? I have only one prototype yet, but I will check next week with other prototypes. HAL_RTC_GetTime contains the following code: sTime->Hours jumps from 13 to 1 but sTime->TimeFormat remains 0.   I use 24 hours, but even if the settings would be 12 hours, the sTime->TimeFormat should be set after going from a.m. to p.m. sTime->Hours = (uint8_t)((tmpreg & (RTC_TR_HT | RTC_TR_HU)) >> RTC_TR_HU_Pos); sTime->Minutes = (uint8_t)((tmpreg & (RTC_TR_MNT | RTC_TR_MNU)) >> RTC_TR_MNU_Pos); sTime->Seconds = (uint8_t

Hello Guys, Currently I am using Parallel RGB888 TFT display with resolution 800X480 in which I am using STM32F429ZIT6 controller using LTDC with DMA2 and I am printing whole RED color on display but display showing lines. My question is as I am not using external SDRAM will internal SDRAM of STM32F4 is sufficient to drive this. and if not then what is the issue int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */ /* USER CODE END Init */ /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config(); /* USER CODE BEGIN SysInit */ /* USER CODE END SysInit */ /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_LTDC_Init(); MX_DMA2D_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ // Fill the screen with a solid color as a test uint32_t color = 0x00FF00; // RGB888 for green HAL_DMA2D_S

Hi,    The datasheets says (P173) - the VREF– s available only on UFBGA176+25 andTFBGA240+25. When VREF- is not available, it is internally connected to VDDA and VSSA. Our ADC input signal goes to both positive and negative. Questions:1. What the part number we should use, which allows VREF–? (Negative ref)2. Is VREF– a fixed value or changeable? How is it defined relative to the input signal range?3. Does NUCLEO-H753ZI board allow our negative ADC input signal in? If so, who is the the range (max + and max -) defined? Thank you very much for your help,

Hi,I am having STM32U575 boards with me and I am able to use a simple TouchGFX project with U575ZI_GFX02Z1 example from TouchGFX.I tried embedding example Video from TouchGFX and my compilation fails for the below error:(.text._ZN8touchgfx11VideoWidgetD2Ev+0x8): undefined reference to `touchgfx::VideoController::getInstance()'Upon looking into ST forums, I found that either I need to enable the support of video through hardware of software. But the U5 package does not have "libjpeg" package avaialble for download from CubeMX.Can you confirm if the STM32U575 can support playing video through software or hardwar Means? If yes, can you provide me instruction on how to support it from hardware and software both for U575? If not U575, can UF9 support playing video using hardware? Thanks,Mehul

Hi,i need some help for the EV-VN9D30Q100F. It says there is a dedicated Software for the SPC582B-DIS or /EV but i can't find it nowhere. The board connects to the GUI (STSW-EV-M09SPI), so far so good, but without the firmware on the MCU, i can't test the VN9D30. and is there a component in autodevkitstudio for the VN9D30 board ? or will it be released ? i wanted to evaluate the board before i implementing it, into my hardware design ?

Hello,I am Bansi Attara. I initially used the STM32F7508-DK for my application, but due to its obsolescence, I transitioned to the STM32F746G-DISCO. During this shift, I encountered two variants of the STM32F746-DISCO:1. DK32F746G$CU42. DK32F746G$CU2While the second model (DK32F746G$CU2) works perfectly, the first model (DK32F746G$CU4) has issues with proper display functionality.I have attached an image for your reference to help illustrate the issue.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Best regards,Bansi Attara

Dear all!this is the first time i handle with STM32H7 series. in my project control ILI9488 by TouchGFX platform, 4 mosfets, 1 Led. in the first step, i try to blink a led at pin PB5 but seem unsuccess. i don't know how to fix, so can you share me my mistake and how to fix it. in attach file have schematic. can you take a look and share me your input.

Does the STM32H753ZI microcontroller provide a built-in unique key or mechanism to ensure that the chip cannot be unlocked, and firmware cannot be flashed, read, or erased without the correct key, effectively preventing unauthorized access or modification?

STM32H573 with Secure Manager provisioned, the non-secure app cannot access the RNG anymore.  Will it be ok to use Secure Manager API psa_generate_random() to replace HAL_RNG_GenerateRandomNumber()?

I want to make some modifications to the STM32H747I_DISCO_USB_Webcam example embedded in the FP-AI-VISION1 package, however I cannot find a way to open it in STM32CubeMX. I also checked the repository on GitHub for this example and no success. Any idea about how to open the settings of this example in STM32CubeMX? Thanks!

I am trying to compile a STM32 project with my own code structure. I have not changed the structure created by the IDE when creating the project and have added my .c and .h files in the Src and Inc folders in Core directory. But I am getting an error where the compiler is not able to find the include paths. I am attaching the error and screenshots for your reference. I have added the include paths in project settings. Is there something that I am missing?

Hello, I build a business card with the M24LR64E-RMN tag. When using NFC Tap application on Android everything works perfectly. I'm able to write and read the NFC tag. However, when using with iPhone 12 (IOS 17.7.1) - while reading a tag I'm getting the following fault. I'm not able to write NDEF commands and neither can I read the tag (When with Android everything works fine).Have any of you face similar issues?

Hello, I am currently trying to being up the STM32MP257F-EV1 development board and running into a problem. I am using CubeIDE following the following guide: https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Getting_started/STM32MP2_boards/STM32MP257x-EV1/Develop_on_Arm%C2%AE_Cortex%C2%AE-M33/Modify,_rebuild_and_reload_the_firmware.Specifically I am on step 8 when you have to create the run and debug configurations. I followed the guide and created the configurations correctly but now when I run the example application (OpenAMP_ttyecho_CM33_NonSecure) I get the following error:Error in final launch sequence:Failed pre launchFailed pre launchFirmware remoteproc load failed, please:1. make sure that /lib/firmware on your target has space2. make sure that /lib/firmware has write access> you can open a Console View for this.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Carson

Hello again!I've been trying to measure water level using the VL53L1 sensor and reading forum posts on it, and I've gathered that RefSPAD calibration isn't really recommended anymore. From my research on the topic, I know that water reflects only 2% of perpendicular incident light, with the rest getting transmitted and also that the transmitted rays will be fully absorbed at a minimum water level of 10cm.I was wondering if doing the RefSPAD calibration utilizing the VL53L1 (with a cover glass) leveled parallel to a water suface from a body deep enough to absorb all transmitted laser could end up improving the sensor's results by giving more weight to SPADs more likely to detect those perfectly reflected photons. Thanks in advance!

how to set up the meta-qt5 toolchain, cross compilation and Qt creator in order to deploy Qt applications to a target STM32MP157d-DK1 from a linux host machine.please give me step wise instruction on how to do

Hi there TouchGFX team!I've a STM32MP135F-DK and I would like to run it using QT, where do I start?QT seems to have several examples but there's a lot of apps that I don't even know where to start.  Thanks a lot in advance!

I am working on a project where the end goal is that TIM8 is used to capture an incoming PWM signal on PC6.  I want TIM2 to trigger from TIM8 and generate a single pulse on PB11. I have TIM8 working, capturing both rising and falling edges properly.  However, after many attempts, I am not getting anything on TIM2. I decided to check the output itself, and PB11 can be set high or low just fine, set as open drain.  This rules out any hardware/PCB issues with the pin.  Next I tried running a continuous PWM on TIM2 and the pin stays high.So I stepped through the debugger, and I noticed that TIM2 registers aren't getting set.  I tried manually setting them in the debugger and they immediately revert back to 0.//This code worksTIM_HandleTypeDef HeaterTimer;HeaterTimer.Instance = TIM4;HeaterTimer.Init.Period = 0xFFFF;HeaterTimer.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP;HeaterTimer.Init.ClockDivision = TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV1;HeaterTimer.Init.RepetitionCounter = 0;Hea

The STLink Mini data sheet has a pin labeled "T_NRST" I am wondering if this needs to be connected to the "DEBUG_JTRST" or the "NRST" pin of the microcontroller.

I doing bare metal coding for STM32L496ZGT6. Now in SPI, extra bytes are sent. There are only 4 Registers in SPI but unable to resolve the issue. Below is my codeNOTE:I am using Aardwark Total Phase Control Center software for debugging. I am attaching the related images. The Chip select to be handled by the SPI Hardware. Data sheet is DS11585.#include "lib_headers.h"#define SPI1EN (1U << 12)#define GPIOAEN (1U << 0)#define SR_TXE (1U << 1)#define SR_RXNE (1U << 0)#define SR_BSY (1U << 7)const char write_data[] = "ABCD"; // Data to write (4 bytes)char read_data[5] = {0}; // Buffer to store received data (4 bytes + null terminator)uint8_t reg_address = 0x01; // Example register addressvoid delay(volatile uint32_t count) {while (count--);}void spi1_transmit(uint8_t *data, uint32_t size) {uint32_t i = 0;while (i < size) {while (!(SPI1->SR & SR_TXE)) {}SPI1->DR = data[i++];}while (!(SPI1->SR & SR_TXE)) {}while (SPI1->SR & SR_BSY

I've noticed that when I create a notify characteristic, two functions are created each time: one is called Custom_<name of char>_Send_Notication(), the other is Custom_<name of char>_Update_Char(). What is the difference? They both end up calling the same function, Custom_STM_App_Update_Char(CUSTOM_STM_PINGRESPONSE, (uint8_t *)NotifyCharData), but point to different arrays - why different arrays / what is their purpose?

I would like to change the state of the INT_DRDY of LPS22DF. I have tried to change the value of INT_H_L bit in register CTRL_REG3 (12h), but it has no (immediate) effect. Is it necessary to activate the pin? I have also tried different values in CTRL_REG4 (13h), without effect.Thank you.
