Hi! I am new in electronics, but I am trying to design my PCB using STM32F469IIT6. I did a similar project before using a simple atmega168, but the STM32 seems way more complex. I wonder what the minimum of hardware connection is I need to be able to BOOT or even detect the target using my ST-LINK. Right now, I powered all VDD pins and VDDA pins, as well connected all the GND pins. I set up pins 137-SWCLK and 128-SWDIO in my IDE, connected the ST-LINK, but it does not find the target. I wish someone could give me a help.   Thank you!

Hello, could someone please advise me what is the correct order of the UART pins on the steval esc001v1. thank you Kamiluart pins 4321uart pins 1234from esc manual

I am trying to figure out how to DFU a STM32G070CB, but finding the available documentation utterly useless.. According to this document : AN2606 "STM32 microcontroller system memory boot mode", my chip STM32G070 uses "Pattern 11":#1. I know what the boot0 pin is (it's a pin on the chip). BUT what is "nboot0", What is "nboot1", What is "BOOT_LOCK", ??????????? These are described NOWHERE in in my 93 page STM32G datasheet, nowhere in the , or any other document I can find#2: What are the four rows supposed to represent???

Can anyone help me to generate bin and hex file from source code using command prompt and batch file without stm32cubeide or its related any development environment?

Hi,I have problem with configuration STM project in STM Cube IDE.I created project based on STM32WB55 Board, after open *.ioc file i have a problem with reconfigure GPIO ports:I am using the latest STM Cube IDE version: 1.17.0How to solve it?

hi i have  a question about stack memory.is memset or sprintf function take space on ram stack memory? For example i create global array like my_array[1024]. when i call memset in my private function, does memset function take extra space on ram(stack memory).  What is the disadvantage using a lots of memset or sprintf usage in my code?

I am having trouble finding how to change the interval of the major gridlines dynamically. I am using the scrolling graph and have implemented dynamic Y-axis range, but I want to be able to change the intervals of the gridlines as well. Is this possible using touchGFX tools or do I need to make a custom widget?

hiI wrote a function similar to the one below for changing the text of a Text Area, and it works perfectly. However, I encountered an issue with Flex Button. This part of the code gives an error: touchgfx::WildcardTextButtonStyle &FlexBtn void FlexButtonSetText( touchgfx::WildcardTextButtonStyle &FlexBtn, touchgfx::Unicode::UnicodeChar *UnicodeText , char * text ) { Unicode::fromUTF8( (uint8_t *)text , UnicodeText , strlen(text)+1 ); FlexBtn.setWildcardTextBuffer(UnicodeText); FlexBtn.invalidate(); }

Hello STM32 community,I'm encountering an issue with my STM32L562VET controller where the debugger gets stuck at the `HAL_GetTick()` function. When debugging, the program seems to halt at this point, making it difficult to proceed with the debugging process effectively.Additionally, I've noticed that when using EXTI1_IRQn or EXTI8_IRQn interrupts, the debugger fails to display the location of the current line being executed. This lack of visibility into the code execution flow hampers my debugging efforts even further.It's worth mentioning that I'm using TZEN = 0 configuration. I've tried troubleshooting this problem by checking my interrupt configurations and ensuring that all necessary initialization steps are correctly implemented. However, I haven't been able to resolve the issue.Has anyone else in the community encountered similar problems with debugging on STM32L562VET controllers with TZEN = 0 configuration? If so, I would greatly appreciate any insights, suggestions, or solutio

Hi there,Im currently evaluating moving from Keil uVison to VSCode. But im missing a NVIC view. Is there anything like this in VSCode?This is how it looks in uVision: https://developer.arm.com/documentation/101407/0541/Debugging/Debug-Windows-and-Dialogs/Core-Peripherals/Armv7-M-cores/Armv7-M--Nested-Vector-Interrupt-Controller?lang=en

Hi,I tried to explore the STM32CubeExpansion_CELLULAR package to change the code according to my need. In that process I am lost. Can anyone guide me on which file should I focus on changing the code? This is too much of code to start with. I have already checked the cellular wiki but it wasn't very helpful to me. So i decided to write my own AT commands to connect to the internet. However, contacting them I got to know that they will not be supporting this module anymore (attached ss) and they also suggested me to buy a different module. Can ST provide a documentation for AT command for the TYPE1SE module?ThanksSSWM

Hi all, I am currently working with the STEVAL-PROTEUS1 Board, which incorporates the STM32WB5MMG module and the IIS3DWB high-bandwidth accelerometer sensor, interfaced via SPI_1. According to the IIS3DWB sensor datasheet, it supports a clock frequency of up to 10MHz and an Output Data Rate (ODR) of 26667Hz (37 microseconds). My objective is to collect sensor data at an ODR of 26667Hz. Here are the steps I have taken so far: Configured the core to 20MHz. Configured SPI_1 to 10MHz. Configured the sensor to generate an ODR interrupt, which is successfully triggering every 37 microseconds. The issue arises when collecting data (6 bytes) from the sensor, which is taking 125 microseconds using HAL functions in blocking mode. Ideally, this should not be the case. I have also tried using non-blocking mode (DMA), but it is taking more time (175 microseconds). Could anyone help me understand if the HAL function is supposed to take 125 microseconds, and why DMA is taking more time than the blo

I am a beginner. Please help me figure out why the interrupt is not happening. I want to measure the duty cycle, but the interrupt is not enabled. I am losing hope that this is possible.#include <stdint.h> #include <stm32f0xx.h> #include <stdbool.h> #include "uart.h" int cnt = 0; #define ledPin GPIO_ODR_4 #define baudRate 115200 char receivedString[100]; volatile uint32_t capture_value = 0; volatile uint32_t frequency = 0; volatile uint32_t duty_cycle = 0; volatile bool state = false; void SystemInit(void); void TIM14_Config(void); void TIM14_IRQHandler(void); void init_PA4_LED(void); void TIM3_Init(void); void init_PA6_PWM_In(void); void TIM3_IRQHandler(void); int main(void) { SystemInit(); UART_Init(baudRate); init_PA4_LED(); TIM14_Config(); TIM3_Init(); init_PA6_PWM_In(); while (1) { if (state) { UART_SendString("Counter: "); UART_SendNumber(cnt); UART_SendString("\n"); state = false; } } } void SystemInit(void) { if ((RCC->CR &

Does anybody know if control board NUCLEO-F446ZE and power board X-NUCLEO-IHM07M1 can be configured to support 2 motors (FOC) in STM32 MC Workbench?

Hi,I recently bought a SensorTile(STEVAL-STLKT01) and I want to modify the default project for my own usage case.Based on the information I found, I downloaded the source code from https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/fp-sns-allmems1.html (Github source) and then I opened the project "STM32L476JG-SensorTile" with CubeIDE Version: 1.17.0 and then I tried to build this project without any modifications.The first problem I encountered is that the defined variable "STM32L4xx" seems not exist so I have to add it manually into the path and symbol property:However, I encountered another problem that the header file "STC3115_Battery_Conf.h" is not exist:I am completely stuck at this point since I cannot find it anywhere even in the Github....Can someone guide me how to build this project and download it to the SensorTile platform?Thank you!BR,Mike

Hello.I am trying to port from a Nucleo-F401 board to the WB.  I have a desire to make USART1 on the WB as a comm port so I can pass data to it for testing some stuff.  I find it works well UNTIL I enable the BLE.  I notice in the app_debug.c file that it takes the MX_USART1_UART_Init() function and buries it with a DEBUG wrapper.  Can someone tell me how to configure CubeMX so as to use LPUART as debug and NOT UART1?  Many of the entries on the page you see in MX are greyed out and I cannot even select them to enable them.  Is this even possible to use USART1 for something other than debug as I want?  Find attached MX pdf.Thanks

Hello everyone,I'm using Netconn snmp over freertos on my project and I found an issue when using 2 netif interfaces. The problem is that when I receive udp messages, the response is always routed to the default netif despite having the LWIP_HOOK_IP4_ROUTE_SRC defined. Seems like in udp, the ip destination of the message received is not saved so we always answer on the default interface, that doesn't happen in tcp communication, where the message received destination ip is saved so in the LWIP_HOOK_IP4_ROUTE_SRC we can check that ip and select the correct the netif interface.Does anybody know if there is any option that can be activated using a DEFINE or defining a function for that scope?

Hello, I can't download the usb driver STSW-link009 2.0.2 on the "st.com -> development tools"https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stsw-link009.html#get-softwareWhen I click on "Get latest", I read the licence agreement and click to "Accept"."Get latest" name change to "Download latest".When I click on "Get latest", I read the licence agreement and click to "Accept", the windows closes but there is no download. Can anyone help me? Thanks for your help.

Hello,I searched the forum and found out a topic regarding the sensing technology of LIS3MDL sensor. The topic mentioned that LIS3MDL is a TMR sensor, however no support documents are included to further investigate the integrated circuit of the sensor.Moreover, I found several studies/papers claiming the LIS3MDL is an AMR sensor.My question is: Is there any official document available regarding the underlying sensing circuit and phenomenon the LIS3MDL sensor is using?Thank you for your time and support.

Hi, I'm using LTSpice to simulate a circuit. Is it possible to get a spice model of the VND7NV04 OMNIFET?Thanks !

I've "developed" a ridiculously simple test program using STM32CubeIDE, for BlackPill STM32F411CE :on board LED blinks at 0,5 Hz.  Downloaded via ST-link plugged into USB. Browsing through Memory shows the downloaded code (Segment .text) matching the linker log file, all fine.Disconnect the ST-Link wires from board and plugging in a USB3 Cable into the up to now unused onboard USB port. Holding down boot0 button while tapping the RST button fires up STM ROM bootloader, which correctly senses a plugged in USB cable and presents the board as USB device 0483/df11, complete with text "STM32 BOOTLOADER",  again all well, one would think.However, firing up CubeProgrammer mode "USB" and clicking rescan button "no DFU detected" shows.Clocksetup ist 96MHz main clock and 48MHz USB clock(?) with the onboard external 25.000MHz crystal.Even after configuring the (in my program unused) USB as USB_OTG_FS device in "device only" mode, same result.  Configuring the (unused) USB_OTG_

I downloaded the Version: 1.15.0 of STM32CubeIDE. It askes to login in ST for new project to download all the package. When I clicked on the myst -> login, "User Authentication Dialog" opens and nothing happens after that.Thus I am unable to login.Thank you in advance.

i am looking for the equivalent function  ofextern frac16_t GFLIB_Atan_F16_FAsm(frac16_t f16Val, const GFLIB_ATAN_T_F32 *psParam); from nxp mlib.h in a stm32 library

Hi everybody,I have TIM15, configured to PWM generation, in one shot configuration, using OC1N output. The output is set to 0 and timer disabled.. When I later initialize TIM1, the output of TIM15 goes high at the instant the Update event is generated. I noticed it depend on Fast mode setting - if not set, the output remains low. The Fast mode is required/recommended in One Pulse configuration.How is it possible to change anything in other timer instance?Sample code below.Tomas //----------------------------------------------------------------------------- void TIM15_TIM1_Test(void) //----------------------------------------------------------------------------- { // TIM15 init LL_TIM_InitTypeDef TIM_InitStruct; TIM_InitStruct.Prescaler = 383; // TIM_InitStruct.CounterMode = LL_TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP; TIM_InitStruct.Autoreload = 100; TIM_InitStruct.ClockDivision = LL_TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV1; TIM_InitStruct.RepetitionCounter = 0; LL_TIM_Init(TIM15, &TIM_InitStruct); //
