Hello,  I would like to run HeartRateThreadX with Nucleo-WBA55CG, with Debug features that I can stop the code anytime from STM32CubeIDE. What I have tried(but not succeeded):  + Change Core/Inc/app_conf.h line 231 from 2 to 0(CFG_LPM_LEVEL).  + Disable "Debug in low power mode" from Debug Configuration -> Debugger -> Device Settings -> Debug in low power modes.  + Tried to "Full Chip Erase" by using STM32CubeProgrammer  + From STM32CubeMX, enable "Debug" feature with "Serial Wire".  Neither of them get rid of the failure "Target is not responding, retrying...":  STMicroelectronics ST-LINK GDB server. New question from: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/qspi-master-and-slave/td-p/758418 I have a AD5668 DAC which supports QSPI upto 50Mhz frequency. I am trying to test the DAC with STM32 using QSPI . But I am not able to see DAC output. So I thought to debug it with two Microcontrollers like how we do with SPI.  This is my code // Function to send data to AD5668 DAC in the specified format void AD5668_SendCommand(uint8_t command, uint8_t channel, uint16_t voltage) { uint8_t commandData[4]; QSPI_CommandTypeDef sCommand = {0}; HAL_StatusTypeDef status; // QSPI command configuration sCommand.InstructionMode = QSPI_INSTRUCTION_1_LINE; sCommand.AddressMode = QSPI_ADDRESS_NONE; sCommand.DataMode = QSPI_DATA_1_LINE; sCommand.DummyCycles = 0; commandData[0] = command; // Command byte (e.g., 0x03) commandData[1] = channel; // Channel byte (e.g., 0x0F) commandData[2] = (voltage >> ‌‌ & 0xFF; // MSB of voltage commandData[3] = voltage & 0xFF; //

It seems the write protection section has disappeared from the CubeMX programmer some time between versions 2.15 and 2.17?  It is not visible in the UI or the CLI.  We are having trouble programming our boards without access to this section.

Hi team,      I am working with QSPI I have 2 STM32-NUCLEO-L496ZG-P boards. I want to select one board as Master and one board as Slave and I want to transmit from one device and receive it on other device. But in stm32CubeIDE there is no option to select like Master or Slave. Is there any way to make it possible one as Master and one as Slave.

 Hello I'm developing RTOS environment of dual-core in STM32H757.I could refer to the examples provided by STM32, and I read the application note AN5617. I checked that the error is a exception "err1" under the function "rproc_virtio_create_vdev" in the remoteproc_vrtio.c file. it was caused by the saturation of the memory "._user_heap_stack". We are developing a device using the STM32H743.We are setting up the GPIO during initialization, but I am wondering about something.What is the GPIO output before initialization? Is it high impedance?Or does it change depending on the circuit connected to the STM32H743?

Is the a User Manual available for the Nucleo-N657X0-Q that contains the connector pinouts and jumper settings etc. The document (UM1727) listed on the documentation page https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/nucleo-n657x0-q.html#documentation points to a generic Nucleo document that contains no information specific to the Nucleo-N657X0-Q.

i am working on an acoustic project and starting with ST products below:nucleo-F413zh:https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/nucleo-f413zh.htmlX-NUCLEO-CCA02M1:https://www.st.com/en/ecosystems/x-nucleo-cca02m1.htmlSTEVAL-MIC001V1:https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/steval-mic001v1.htmlbut i got different PDM waveform outputfor mic1 on the left, the output is below,C2 for pdm data,C3 for clock however,for mic2 on the right, the output is below,C2 for pdm data,C3 for clock I have switched two mics, it turns out that the moment DATA pin of mems mic attached to PB14 of stm32f413zh, the waveform would turn from rectangle wave to the weird wave,according to my configuration in cubemx,i have already set PB14 as a input channel of DFSDM1:i have upload my cubeide project.Could someone please help me with that:1.Is the Mems microphone working properly? Is the rectangle wave a correct PDM output?2.What could possibly cause this problem? Why PB14 would make the waveform transfer from rectang

I am currently trying to figure out at what byte the slave sends a NACK during an I2C master write transfer.When the slave sends the NACK after X bytes the error callback is called. Inside the error callback I am having trouble finding out at what byte the NACK occured (I want to know how many bytes were transferred fine and at what position the NACK was send).if (HAL_I2C_Master_Seq_Transmit_DMA(i2c_handle, slave_addr, data, write_size, I2C_FIRST_AND_LAST_FRAME) != HAL_OK) { // error handling } void HAL_I2C_AbortCpltCallback(I2C_HandleTypeDef* /*hi2c*/) { // Never called } void HAL_I2C_ErrorCallback(I2C_HandleTypeDef* hi2c) { uint32_t tx_cnt = __HAL_DMA_GET_COUNTER(hi2c->hdmatx); }I tried to register DMA callbacks, but they are cleared inside the HAL_I2C_Master_Seq_Transmit_DMA function and therefore never called...  if (HAL_DMA_RegisterCallback(&handle_GPDMA1_Channel3, HAL_DMA_XFER_ABORT_CB_ID, DMAabortCallback) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } if (HAL_DMA_Regi

I am using st25r3911b with an esp32, it works fine when i use the disco board (the original stm microcontroller desoldered). But then I decided to make my own circuit as shown in the attached image. The rfalNfcInitialize() function returns errors 0, so I guess SPI is working but, rfalFieldOnAndStartGT returns error code 12 which is ERR_INTERNAL. The code runs perfectly, without a hitch if I connect the discovery board, so I guess the timers and interrupt handling is working fine in code. Can anybody help me solve this issue.

Hello,I am working with:NUCLEO-H745ZI-Q => STM32H745ZI-QZIT6U => 144-LQFPRM0399 Rev 4DS12923 Rev 2AN 5354 (Getting started with the STM32H7 Series MCU 16-bit ADC) According to DS12923 Rev Table 96 note 3 is that Table 96 values:"These values are valid for UFBGA176+25 and one ADC. No mention of Slow Channel max data rates? I am currently using slow channels since fast/direct channels are limited. According to RM0399 Rev 4 section 26.4.13 the sampling time values may be selected as SMP=N*ADC clock cycles. If I attempt the "arithmetic", unless I am not following something correctly of course, I cannot seem to back out the values of Table 96 DS12923 R

When I use the UART_Printf example to output an array of size 1024 (or larger) via printf, the program seems to freeze and doesn't output any information after being downloaded to the STM32WB55 Nucleo board. However, when I reduce the array size to 600, it can successfully print via the serial port. How can I optimize the code to output a large array, or what might be causing this issue?/* USER CODE BEGIN 2 *//* Initialize BSP Led for LED3 */BSP_LED_Init(LED3);/* Output a message on Hyperterminal using printf function */printf("\n\r UART Printf Example: retarget the C library printf function to the UART\n\r");// Generate a test array with data#define ARRAY_SIZE 1024uint8_t tran_test[ARRAY_SIZE];for (uint16_t i = 0; i < ARRAY_SIZE; i++){tran_test[i] = (uint8_t)(i % 256); // cycling from 0x00 to 0xFF}printf("** Test finished successfully. ** \n\r");/* USER CODE END 2 *//* Infinite loop *//* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */while (1){printf("**ARRAY_SIZE = %d\n\r", ARRAY_SIZE);for (int i = 0; i

I try to build a code example where I can execute directly from external OctalSPI flash.I use HAL project "XSPI_NOR_MemoryMapped_DTR" as reference and starting point:It works fine: I can write (flash) and read back external QSPI memory. I can also execute code from it.It looks to me at: the memory region 0x7000_0000...0x7000_00FF on external OctalSPI is a "write and readable" data region but "never an executable region". Code execution is only possible at address 0x7000_0100 (and beyond).The strange issues I have:without MPU configured: I can write (flash) data on 0x7000_0000... It works fine: read back in code seems to be OK.In debug mode, using the "Memory Browser" : I see this region 0x7000_0000...0x7000_00FF written properly - all written and read back are correctwith MPU enabled (for this region): I can still write and read back - all OK (FW passed on reading it back).BUT: in debug mode, using the "Memory Browser" : I see this regions 0x7000_0000...0x7000_00FF all as 0xFF.(even th

Hello,I have a problem with STM32N6. When trying to access any TCM (ITCM/DTCM) the CPU immediately crashes to the Hard_Fault. Do the TCM memories need to be explicitly enabled or something? From my experience from STM32H7, it was never needed. I've looked around RM for N6 but cannot find anything related. I have found in the examples (FLEXMEM_Configurations) that the HardFault shall happen when accesing beyond the configured TCM size, but I'm getting the crash at the base addresses. uint16_t* _tcmData = (uint16_t*)0x30000000; int main() { ... //system init etc.. _tcmData[0] = 0x1234; //Hard_Fault crash here }

Hi,I am creating a project using the STM32H523 microcontroller. One of the planned functionalities is USB CDC communication with a computer (as a virtual COM port device). Since I do not plan to use RTOS, I would like to use the classic USB library.Initially development was done on the Nucleo board with STM32H503. Using this guide I managed to implement everything.https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/how-to-use-stmicroelectronics-classic-usb-device-middleware-with/ta-p/599274Problems appeared when switching to the target platform (STM32H523). The hardware was connected as on Nucleo (D+ to pin PA12, D- to PA11). CubeMX was configured analogously, the rest of the code was transferred. Unfortunately, after connecting to the computer there is no reaction, the USB device is not detected.Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong? Is it also necessary to connect the VDET pin, and if so, where is the pin configuration in the code?I tried to debug the problem on the HW side. There is no co

Hello,I am currently working with the STM32H7S78-DK board, using STM32CubeIDE for programming. My goal is to configure the Ethernet peripheral and send/receive data via UDP. I'm using an STM32H747XI Discovery board for testing. I seem to have the opposite problem of everyone else, my DTCM value is NOT clearing upon losing power. I have the following in my LD script:  MEMORY { ... /* Put NOINIT at the top of the DTCM block. */ NOINIT (rwx) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000 + 128K - 0x100, LENGTH = 0x100 ... } ... I then disconnect and debug again, g_iEnableBLUSB will be the magic number; this is also the correct behavior. Now if I power off the board, wait s
