Hello everyone,I am generating PWM signals using the HRTIM module. Specifically, I am using Timer D to generate a PWM signal along with its complementary signal. This signal is always in phase with the master counter, setting at the timer period and resetting at the half-period.Similarly, Timer C also generates a PWM signal, but unlike Timer D, it allows phase shifting relative to Timer D.The issue arises when I try to apply a phase shift step greater than 50% of the period. In this case, instead of obtaining the desired output (shown in blue), I get an unwanted signal (shown in black). Oviously this behavior is only in the phase shift transient. From what I understand, it seems that the set in timer period, marked in purple, is being skipped. However, I am not sure if the skipped moment could be instead the one shown in blue. Or even if this is the origin of the problem. However, if I set the PWM to trigger at CMP1 = 0 of Timer D instead of PRD, and reset at CMP2=0.5*PRD, I don’t observ

Hi, is there any documentation regarding controlling brightness on STM32F75x?

Hello, I'm working with a Teseo EVB-VIC3DA.I want to control the data flow on the UART and query only the sensor data I'm interested in.After setting the baud rate to 921600, I proceeded to disable all automatically sent messages using the command $PSTMNMEAONOFF,0.My idea was to use the $PSTMNMEAREQUEST command to retrieve only the messages of interest. When sending $PSTMNMEAREQUEST,0x2,0*06, I correctly receive the $GPGGA message as specified in CDB-ID 201 of the documentation (UM2791 - TeseoVIC3 Software Instructions, STMicroelectronics). My question is whether it is possible to do the same with the DRAW messages ($PSTMDRSENMSG 30,31 and 3, bitmask 0x10000000), as I am interested in accelerometer, gyroscope, and odometer data. When I try $PSTMNMEAREQUEST,0,0x10000000*35, I only receive an acknowledgment from the device. If this is not possible, I am interested in reducing the message rate from these sensors.I attempted to do this using the command $PSTMCFGMSGL,0,50,0,0x10000000*01, but a

Hey, I am trying to build a battery pack with AEK-POW-BMS63EN BMS Slave Boards, AEK-MCU-C4MLIT1 as the Master Board, and an ISOSPI Translator.  I have made a 4S Dummy Battery to check whether I could get the cell data on the serial bus from the Master Board. As suggested, I started working with the Example code titled 'SPC58EC-AEK_POW_BMS63EN_SOC_Est_SingleAccess_CHAIN application for discovery' but although the code got flashed onto the master board, I was still reading '0' values from the slave.  Again, I tried the program titled 'SPC58EC - AEK_POW_BMS63EN_SOC_Estimation_Single application for discovery', since I realized that there was no ISOSPI Component added in the previous project. With this example project, I started getting some values but they seem incorrect. I am getting 5.8V on Cell 1 and 0V on the rest of the cells even when I checked the voltage on the test pins on the board between C0 and C1 is 3.8V.  I am definitely doing something wrong here, I

HiI debugged the Sigfox AT_Slave example in stmcubeWLv1.3.0 package. All tutorials show how to get the board sigfox credentials through CubeProgrammer software, which once connected with a STM32WL device, shows an extra button called "sigfox credentials" (in figure). However, this does not work for me with the last 2.18 version of CubeProgrammer (tested on 2 different PCs). I had to unistall the software ad get the previous 2.17 version in order to display the extra button.

Hello, I am using my custom PCB with the STM32H747IIT6 microcontroller. I have set up a JTAG/SWD connection. Initially, when I power up the board and connect via ST-Link, I can access the microcontroller through STM32CubeProgrammer without any issues. However, after generating a new code in CubeIDE and flashing it onto the MCU, I can no longer connect to the device. I have tried selecting all available connection modes in CubeProgrammer, but none of them work. "Error: No STM32 target found! Hello,I'm using AzRTOS with threadX and FileX.  I have a thread with msg_queue that monitors the SD_Detect pin.  The code works properly, I detect the card insertion/removal process.  The problem is I need to re-initialize the SDMCC hardware so it can read the parameters off the SD card before I can mount the media.  I tried calling MX_SDMMC1_SD_Init() which is defined in the main.c file, but the compiler says MX_SDMMC1_SD_Init is an undefined reference. app_filex.c  has an  include "main.h" at the beginning.in "main.h" I defined the routine:/* USER CODE BEGIN EFP */ void GetDateTime(void); static void MX_SDMMC1_SD_Init(void); /* USER CODE END EFP */in app_filex.c: /* check if we received the correct event message */ syslog(SYSLOG_NOTIF, "SD Card received queued event"); if (r_msg == CARD_STATUS_CHANGED) { r_msg = 0; /* reset the status */ /* for debouncing purpose we wait a bit till it settles down */ tx_thread_sleep(TX_

Hello,I was researching ST eSIM offerings, and what I found out is that SIM provisioning goes through partner 1Global. My primary use case is to be able to provision the eSIM with multiple profiles without using 3rd party. Can you please tell me are there any eSIM solutions that I can use without going through 1Global (profile download as it is implemented in consumer eSIM devices)? And if not are there any plans in the future to offer consumer grade eSIM solutions that use provisioning without 3rd party?Thank you

Hi, We are developing PD multiport design with TCPM/TCPC architecture, but we've come across a post of CPM stack should be no longer supported for newer products. https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-embedded-software/usbc-pd-tcpm-on-the-stm32u5/m-p/637207 We understand G series have replaced much of the PD functions. That aside, our question is: is there a reason that ST no longer support TCPM/TCPC style design, whether the trend is moving to obsolete this model?Thank you.

Hi all, I am currently using the STM32F0 MCU. I would like to understand how errors are handled when the CAN bus triggers errors. Specifically, how is the error handling process for each error category implemented? Additionally, how can the system recover to normal operation mode? Are there any related example codes or documentation that you can provide for reference? Thank you very much!

Hi everyone,I am trying to capture monochrome video using the MB1854B camera module on the STM32N6570-DK board. I am following this tutorial .My task is to obtain monochrome video at a resolution of 320 × 320 pixels at 60fpsCurrently, I am able to capture RGB video at 2592 × 1944 pixels. After checking the imx335.c file, I found only one available resolution (2592 × 1944) at 30fps and a pixel format set to IMX335_RAW_RGGB10.Is there any way to obtain my desired image resolution without any processing, just by changing register values? If so, where can I find those values? I was able to find the datasheet for the IMX335LQN, in which it was written that it can work at 60fps but it did not contain any details about the registers.

Hello,I'm trying to implement the lwip + paho mqtt (embedded version) on a nucleo-f207zg board, following this project : https://blog.naver.com/eziya76/221938551688 I have a mosquitto broker and wireshark on a windows computer.Mosquitto started with command :mosquitto -v -c broker.cfgbroker.cfg file content :listener 1883 allow_anonymous trueWindows IP : 192.168.1.105STM32 IP : 192.168.1.200Both IP are static. The ETH link is ok, I can ping the STM32. I'm blocked since a few day on the connection to the MQTT broker.ConnectNetwork() works, but MQTTConnect() don't.The STM32 send the request, mosquitto receive it and CONNACK but the STM32 don't received it and abort the connection.I think I have localized the issue, but I can't resolve it with my limited knowledge in network programming.MqttConnectBroker() => MQTTConnect() => MQTTConnectWithResults() This function make the following call to waitfor() : ret = waitfor(c, CONNACK, &connect_timer); if

Hi,I am starting a new post for visibility, hopefully someone can point me towards the right direction. The setup:MCU: STM32H725HyperRAM: W957A8MFYA5I, /CK is groundedOCTOSPI1 is used, its reference clock is 200MHz, so with the Clock Prescaler I am using, I am running this interface on 100MHz. Hello all, I am working with a NUCLEO-STM32H7S3L8 board, but I am unable to connect to it using STM32CubeProgrammer or flash firmware using STM32CubeIDE. However, I am still able to update the board’s firmware successfully.Possible Cause:I suspect that I might have pressed the reset button while flashing firmware to the device, which could have caused the issue.Issue:Unable to connect to the board via STM32CubeProgrammerUnable to flash firmware in STM32CubeIDEI cannot perform a hard reset because it requires a connection in STM32CubeProgrammerQuestion:What steps can I take to recover my board and regain access?Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!!

I'm using a STM32L051C8T6 in a custom board. The software function is to enter stop mode to reduce the current consumption and only wake the MCU up with GPIO EXTI, RTC wakeup timer and UART wake up. The device is entering the low power mode and exiting successfully, but I'm facing issues with my UART after waking up. My UART is configured to use DMA on Rx and Tx, but now I'm only using the DMA on Tx, for testing purpose. My problem is that after waking up via UART, I want to keep the microcontroller awaken attending to configuration commands, until receive a configuration ending command. However, the MCU wakes with the USART config command, but it's unable to trigger the UART RxEventCallback via DMA. I think, maybe the MCU just need an specific configuration after waking up to make the UART Rx callback via DMA work well. See the code below:Part 1 of the code:int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU Configuration---------------------

Hello, First off, I'd like to preface that I'm still quite new to the STM32 environment as a whole, and being a student my experience in embedded systems is quite limited, so please feel free to correct me. I'm currently working on a Nucleo-F446RE board and wish to implement a real-time (using CMSIS-RTOS) anomaly detection method using the following, simulated (random numbers essentially, generated via a Python code, data separated by tabulations) time series data : Abnormal temperature data (randomly generated)Normal dataAfter which I benchmarked different models on NanoEdge, and selected the suggested model. Following the documentation in order to implement said detection model under STM32CubeIDE, I chose to use the knowledge used while benchmarking the different models, as I don't have a way to get real data yet : Model initialization with knowledge No errors up till here. In order to correctly determine whether my model is functionnal or not, I chose t

I've been doing some BLE development using STM32WB55RG mounted on Nucleo-68 board. Our end product is very space constrained & doesn't need all the headers, switches etc that the board provides. So I took a loser look at what we could save space by removing & immediately noticed that there is a STM32F130CBT6 on the board. I take it this is dealing with the ST-Link?I am relatively new to the STM32 eco-system so am aware that this my be a dumb question but, is it possible to still use ST-link without this & just use the STM32WB55 with ST-Link?

Hello everyone,Now I'm developing an user application compatible with SBSFU on STM32CubeIDE.SBSFU itself is pretty nice, but I feel the development architecture and environment are a little bit old, like not supporting CubeMX.Fortunatelly, I succeeded to work my user application, that is developed on Visual Studio Code (with CubeMX and STM32 VSCode Extension), with SBSFU.However, it's hard challenge for me to more update like below, because I'm beginenr for embedded system.call some functions located in SE interface region from the user application developped with the above environmentchange the communication protocol from YMODEM to other ones in SBSFU (this SBSFU means the STM32 project of bootloader, not whole package)I appreciate if the official update of SBSFU will be coming to support the moden development environment kinds of CubeMX and Visual Studio Code. Within a few years ago, there're several users who has similar requirements of this matter. Solved: X-Cube-SbSfu -
