Solved

Posted on February 24, 2018 at 13:03Hello,Is there any template or example program for implementing OTA? I have 2MB SPI EEPROM, SIM808 for GPRS communication and STM32F070 on board.I am using CoIDE and have little understanding about how to do it, such as Receive binary file to the board form GPRS moduleSave it in external flash memory then use IAP to flash the new firmwareThen finally use DFU mode for changing the start address of the MCUBut except receiving the binary file and storing it in EEPROM, I have no idea about how to proceed further. Please provide assistance. Regards,#clive #clive1 #clive-one #andrew-neil

Posted on April 18, 2018 at 20:03Hi, thereThis might be a basic question, but I've been trying to solve it for a few days now. I hope there will be an SPI expert who is willing to help. My codes are as follows:=======================================================================        RESET_PIN(GPIOF, GPIO_PIN_6); // CS pulled low -- PF6 is my Chip Select PIN        item_count = 82; jmax = 400; // I need to read out 82*2 = 164 bytes per loop. Then I'll have to                                                        // do some data processing  on the data read, before reading            &nbs

Posted on April 21, 2018 at 00:08so this is my function that works fine when i add it to the script : send_text(pAcceptedConnection, ' function drawChart() {var data = new google.visualization.DataTable();data.addColumn('string', 'Topping');data.addColumn('number', 'Slices');data.addRows([['Mushrooms', 3],['Onions', 2],['Olives', 1],['Zucchini', 4],['Pepperoni', 2]]);var options = {'title':'How Much Pizza I Ate Last Night','width':400,'height':300};var chart = new google.visualization.PieChart(document.getElementById('chart_div'));chart.draw(data, options);}');but once i pass the inside message on Sprintf to make once of the values taken from a variable and do the same thing again like this :  sprintf((char*) msggg1,' function drawChart() {var data = new google.visualization.DataTable();data.addColumn('string', 'Topping');data.addColumn('number', 'Slices');data.addRows([['Mushrooms', 3],['Onions', 2],['Olives', 1],['Zucchini', 4],['Pepperoni', %d]]);var options = {'title':'How Mu

Posted on November 27, 2017 at 18:18I have a design with a STM32F446ZC acting as USB host only, and need to attach at least two low speed HID devices (kbd, mouse). On the schema, one HID device is connected to PA9, 11, 12. The Cube agrees to this.Another device is wired to B13,14,15. Cube says these pins work in High Speed mode. Will a low or full speed device work with STM32 in HS host mode?  If the controller is set into HS mode, will it support two low/full speed devices?What if I'll need three devices, or a hub - is this supported?Thanks in advance,-- pa#stm32f446 #usb-fs #usb-hid #usb-host

Posted on April 18, 2018 at 14:11Hello all,In STM32L432KB, I want to use PH3 pin as GPIO, instead of BOOT0 without affecting its boot sequence.How should I achieve it ?

Posted on April 20, 2018 at 05:19I didn't find a way to do a byte program on my STM32L4 , there is a doubleword program exist in the stm32l4xx_hal_flash.c file.How can i do that , read the doubleword out first and modify one byte and do a doubleword program .Is it correct ?thanks

Posted on April 11, 2018 at 17:33HelloIn lib_iso15693pcd.c :  function ISO15693_WriteSingleBlock.It seems that the return value of PCD_SendRecv is not handled. The function ISO15693_WriteSingleBlockreturns always success.I can see many other places where the behaviour is similar.Juilen

Posted on April 20, 2018 at 13:03Hi,I'm trying to detect a long button press on an STM32F3.I have a push button connected to a GPIO on the STM32F3 configured with an external interrupt request (EXTI9_5_IRQn). The interrupt handler (HAL_GPIO_EXTI_IRQHandler) is successfully triggered when the button is pressed and it subsequently calls the callback function (HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback).I have attempted to detect a long button press by creating a counter variable inside the callback function and incrementing it while the GPIO pin is HIGH (i.e. while the button is pressed). A long button press could therefore be detected when the counter reaches a certain value (i.e. a period of time has elapsed). Unfortunately, the GPIO pin state will not update until the program exits the callback function and I get stuck in an infinite loop like so:void HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback(uint16_t GPIO_Pin){     uint8_t counter = 0;          if(GPIO_Pin == POWER_DET_GP

Posted on April 18, 2018 at 17:57so i'm using the following function : BSP_LCD_DrawBitmap();but i can't find the right conversion from bitmap to .C, i'm in a dead end because i can't use Gui i managed to add all libraries to my project and everything but still even the most simple instructions wont display i would really appreciat your help and thanks :)note: the attached file contain a Logo.c file from Cubemx' examples that works fine when i add it, i can't tell what is the type they are using neither the converter

Posted on April 17, 2018 at 11:56Hi,i have a very strange behaviour on my STM32L433CCTx.Im am configuring the ADC with STM32Cube FW_L4 V1.10.0 to measure multiple channels. As long as i configure 5 or less conversions in the regular conversion group, everything works out fine, i start conversion with HAL_ADC_Start_DMA() and get my results after HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback was called.However, as soon as i add a 6th conversion, the first! conversion result will be wrong (value is 560-564 instead of what it was with only 5 conversions :2000-2005). The other 5 conversions are correct.Why can't i add a 6th conversion without the first conversion going wrong?The second problem i got was when i tried to work around this error by doing my 6th and 7th conversion in the injected group instead: In this group i measure Vrefint and the internal temperature sensor.If the conversion order is1.Vrefint2.Temperatureboth values will be 0.If the conversion order is1.Temperature2.Vrefintboth values will be 1

Posted on October 30, 2017 at 08:47 Hello, We'rehaving an issue on STM32F765IGT - when trying to use flash on QSPI, configured in 'Indirect mode', using HAL v1.8.0, and DMA enabled. It's quite hard to replicate, but it seems to occur whenthere are lots of DMA and interrupts going on. The result is that QSPI_FLAG_BUSY stays set, and it stays that way forever. As a workaround I've used the following code, right before sending HAL_QSPI_Command(). Before executing this, I check my internal state to make sure that QSPI is in fact not busy. In 'stm32f7xx_hal_qspi.c' I've found some ifdef'sfor 'QSPI_V1_0', which kind of gave me the idea to use the abort command like this. However, it was not possible to just enable the compiler directive, since we must also make sure to set 'State' to 'HAL_QSPI_STATE_BUSY', or the abort function won't do anything at all. if ((FlagStatus)(__HAL_QSPI_GET_FLAG(&qspiHandle, QSPI_FLAG_BUSY)) == SET) { qspiHandle.State = HAL_QSPI_STATE_BUSY; HAL_QS

Posted on April 03, 2018 at 07:35Hi i have a custom board based on stm32f769. i have interfaced orient 7inch lCD 800*480 in RGB mode. i could successfully configure the LTDC and external SDRAM (FMC based 32MB) and tried out displaying static image using layer 0. now i would like to port STEMWIN lib for my LCD and try out examples based on that. LCD has HI8264+HI8664 driver. based on the STEMWIN starting guide i configured the GUIConf.c and LCDConf.c and used GUIDRV_LIN_24 with GUICC_M888 but no luck.i have added necessary lib for Keil as well as the STEMWIN lib components.can anybody please suggest whether LIN driver is compatible for HI8264 / HI8664?#lcd-interfacing

Posted on April 17, 2018 at 12:54Hi,I have a STM32F417 processor and I would like to use the FSMC module with an LCD (ILI9481).The used pins: NE1 and the RS pin of LCD connected to A25.The bank of the memory is clear that if I use the NE1 then I have to use the 0x6000 0000 - 0x63FF FFFF memory region.My question is that how can I separate the 'registers'?When the NE1 = LOW, it is clear that I need to set my value to 0x6000 0000, but when the NE1 = HIGH which memory region is fit for me?Right now as I understood:Used pins: NE1, A25And the data bus is 8bit.0x6000 0000 -> 0110 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 00000x6200 0000 -> 0110 0010 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 (The 25th of bit is one)?Thank you for your help.

Posted on April 17, 2018 at 14:11Hi  I have been using a Nucleo board (STM32L0 and STM32L4) and now want to design my own boards. I have been looking through the web and found information on pins to use. I want to make sure I use the correct ones before I design my board. I want to debug the code too.I was thinking of connecting the ST-LINK V2 as follows:STM32L4    ST-LINK V2SWCLK   -----> PA14SWDIO   ------>PA130V --------------->0v3.3v-------------->3.3vNRST ----------->RST     (some have this, but others say not needed)Would this be all that is needed to program and debug a chip? Also, I assume by doing the above, PA14 and PA15 cant be used for anything else?Many ThanksScott

Posted on April 17, 2018 at 10:44From the datasheet ''..This imbalance is measured using charge integration in response to a voltage pulse applied to the capacitor.'' I would want to know at what rate this measurement is done. The maximum data rate of output to the user is 1 kHz. Which means ADC measurements performed must be at an higher rate inside the IC. Is it possible to know the sampling frequency of this internal ADC and also the type of ADC used? Is the type of ADC used integration ADC since 'charge integration' is mentioned? More detailed explanation is required in these aspects. For stm32f107vc this code worked, but when switching to stm32f407 i2c does not work (most likely there is no response from m24sr and a timeout error occurs).I've been puzzling for several days, I can not find the error.Defines for i2c&sharpdefine M24SR_SDA_PIN GPIO_Pin_11&sharpdefine M24SR_SDA_PIN_SOURCE GPIO_PinSource11&sharpdefine M24SR_SDA_PIN_PORT GPIOB&sharpdefine M24SR_SCL_PIN GPIO_Pin_10&sharpdefine M24SR_SCL_PIN_SOURCE GPIO_PinSource10&sharpdefine M24SR_SCL_PIN_PORT GPIOB&sharpdefine M24SR_GPO_PIN GPIO_Pin_15&sharpdefine M24SR_GPO_PIN_PORT GPIOD&sharpdefine M24SR_RFDIS_PIN GPIO_Pin_14&sharpdefine M24SR_RFDIS_PIN_PORT GPIOD&sharpif defined STM32F40_41xxx&sharpdefine M24SR_GPIO_BLOCK_CLK (RCC_AHB1Periph_GPIOB | RCC_AHB1Periph_GPIOD)&sh

Posted on April 16, 2018 at 17:30I don't understand something, what's the point of TDR and RDR registers if during the Receive and Transmit functions they read/write into the DR register.Moreover UART is normally full duplex but if we read/write into the same register we only can be half duplex at the most.Could you explain me this point please, thanks.#hal-uart #stm32f-uart

Posted on April 13, 2018 at 14:16Hello,I am trying to compare LIS3DH and LSM9DS1 (accelerometer part) and I am suprised by the result:The LIS3DH has the configuration: CTRL1: 0x67 (ODR = 200Hz, LPen=0, ) CTRL4: 0xA8 (BDU, 8g, HR)   => sampling frequency = 200Hz and BW=ODR/9=22HzThe LSM9DS1 has the configuration: CTRL5:0x38 (no decimation), CTRL6: 0x98 (ODR = 238Hz, 8g, bandwidth determined by ODR, ) CTRL7: 0x80 (HR, filsters bypassed) CTRL8: 0x44 (BDU, IF_ADD_INC)   => sampling frequency = 238Hz and BW=105HzBut when I capture data with both PCBAs tightly attached, the LIS3DH signals have more amplitude and seems to have a higher bandwith.Did I missed something or is there a problem?Do you suggest another configuration for the LSM9DS1?time in sec.Best regardsMich

Posted on May 02, 2017 at 19:16I am attempting to use the SPI interface of the SPWF04S module but with very limited successI can get the module out of RESET with the SPI interface enabled by simply pulling the interrupt pin high as the reset pulse ends. The module sends some WIND messages that all make perfect sense. I get 'console active' 'wifi hardware started' etc etc and eventually it settles down to doing scans every few seconds ( I get 'scan active' followed by 'scan complete' repeatedly) That's all good.I can't get the module to respond to any commands I send it. Lets say I want to send the simplest command (AT) just to determine if the console is alive... Here is what I've tried so far1- SET CS low ... Send 0x02, 0x00, 0x02, 0x01, 0x00 ... Set CS high ... Wait for INT to go low ... Read response2- SET CS low ... Send 0x02, 0x00, 0x02, 0x01, 0x00 ... Leave CS low ... Wait for INT to go low ... Read response3- SET CS low ... Send 0x02, 0x00, 0x02, 0x01, 0x00 ... contin
