Hello, How to perform dual-core communication on STM32H747?

Hi,Using Designer 4.25, I copied a font to ./assets/fonts folder but it is not in the list"Solido Compressed W00 Bold.ttf"Name displayed by OS is "Solido Compressed W00 Bold" when open in FontForge Any idea how to make the Designer to recognise the font ? Thanks

Hey ST Team and Community Members,I am currently working with the STEVAL-ESC002V1 evaluation board, and i have downloaded the available documentation, including the schematic PDF, BOM, and Gerber files (.ART, .GTD, .DRL ).However, I could not find the original PCB design source files. It would be extremely helpful for understanding the layout, making modifications, or creating and derivative design. My question:Is it possible to get access to the PCB layout source files for the STEVAL-ESC002V1?If they are not publicly released,is there any alternative way to obtain them?Any guidance from ST engineers or community members would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

Hello, I’m working with an STM32H723 MCU and have a question about Flash behavior when caches are enabled.Both D-Cache and I-Cache are enabled, and I’m not using any additional MPU configuration. I'm using D-Cache invalidate after a Flash erase operation.Do I also need to invalidate the D-Cache after a Flash write? Below is my current code. The D-Cache invalidate is commented out.everything works fine, but I want to prevent any potential issues in the future. static int32_t flash_write_words(uint32_t addr, uint32_t *data) { volatile uint32_t *flash = (uint32_t *)addr; const uint32_t num_words = FLASH_NB_32BITWORD_IN_FLASHWORD; // check erased for (uint32_t i = 0; i < num_words; i++) { if (flash[i] != 0xFFFFFFFFU) { return -1; } } // write words if (HAL_FLASH_Program(FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_FLASHWORD, addr, (uint32_t)data) != HAL_OK) { return -1; } // SCB_InvalidateDCache_by_Addr((uint32_t *)addr, 32U); return 0; }

I got this problem: cube ide is not generating ioc fileit did not enable "next" option, I have latest version 2.0.0 (windows 11)I tried, "Go to Window > Preferences > STM32Cube > Firmware Updater." but that option is not visible, also I tried "Go to Help > STM32Cube updater > Select “Check the Target selector Device Database Updates”" but "STM32Cube updater" option is not visible, what can I try now?

Hi everyone,I've noticed a change in UART pin configuration behavior from CubeMX 6.10.0 to 6.16.0 that has caused a practical issue:Before (v6.10.0): It was possible to configure only the RX or TX pin for an asynchronous UART, enabling "receive-only" or "transmit-only" modes. Now (v6.16.0): Both TX and RX pins must be assigned simultaneously; otherwise, the UART peripheral cannot be enabled.Problem: This wastes a GPIO pin. My specific use case is an SBUS receiver (one-way communication, requiring only the RX pin). Now I'm forced to allocate an additional TX pin that will never actually be used.Questions:1. Is this a permanent new requirement in CubeMX, or is it a GUI bug in version 6.16.0?2. What is the technical reason behind this change?3. Is there any way to achieve a true single-pin UART configuration under the new version? Thanks for any insights.

Dear ST staff, Recently, while using STM32CubeMX with CubeAI to deploy the yolov8n_192_quant_pc_uf_od_coco-person.tflite model from object_detection onto the STM32N6570-DK development board.        Subsequently, following CubeAI's configuration, I programmed the network_atonbuf.xSPI2.bin file into the 0x71000000 memory locationIt is worth noting that this model is of type float, not int8 quantisation (as I understand it), and both member pointers inLL_Buffer_InfoTypeDef's const float *scale; /**< */ const int16_t *offset;are NULL. This should indicate that the output requires no normalisation conversion.void MX_X_CUBE_AI_Process(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 6 */ LL_ATON_RT_RetValues_t ll_aton_rt_ret = LL_ATON_RT_DONE; const LL_Buffer_InfoTypeDef * ibuffersInfos = NN_Interface_Default.input_buffers_info(); const LL_Buffer_InfoTypeDef * obuffersInfos = NN_Interface_Default.output_buffers_info(); buffer_in = (uint8_t *)LL_Buffer_addr_start(&ibuffersInfos[0]

Hi all,I have recently installed CubeIDE V2.0 onto my Windows machine - it seems to be working okay.I have also installed it onto a Linux machine but the link between CubeIDE and CubeMX is broken (CubeIDE opens it as a text file).  I have CubeMX installed V6.15.0 - I can run separately.Someone said to me that for V2.0 I have to set the .ioc editor link manually - does anyone have the detail on how to do that?Kind regardsPedro

Hi,Does ST have any plans to manufacture FLIR (Forward Looking InfraRed) MEMS sensors in future? Will

The STM32MP135AAE3 board was designed incorrectly, they have pins for a JTAG but forgot to actually route them to the MPU.  The eMMC is not going to have a first-stage bootloader on it, and it's looking like it's not possible to flash an SPL to the eMMC over USB alone?  Management won't be happy to do another board spin but it's sure looking like that's the only path forward.

Good afternoon, I am currently investigating the FHSS in the STM32WLE5JC chip. Using the STM32 SubGHz radio stackversion 1.3.1 I am unable to use any of the settings with LoRa. Enabling the FHSS and settingthe period does not change anything and the messages are transmitted as if this was omitted. It is my understanding that the radio IP is from Semtech, I cannot find much detail on if thehardware is based exactly on a Semtech board (i.e, SX1262) or a custom implementation. Back to LoRa FHSS have looked through the other forums and in 2020 an ST Employee saidit was not possible with the current stack, and in 2025 that it could be done(but the example provided was for LR-FHSS which uses a different modulation scheme GMSK). My questions:Is the STM32WLE5JC hardware comparable to a specific Semtech chip (so I can understand thelimitations)? Are the FHSS settings in the STM32 radio driver enabled for LoRa (it describesthe settings are LoRa specific)? Thank You!

Hello,Does the ST67W611M1 support BLE Multi Role? In other words, can the ST67W611M1 BLE operate as a central and peripheral simultaneously? Thanks,Matthew

I have questions:Which C++ std used when building code in TouchGFX Designer? c++11, c++14, c++17?Which C++ std used when building code in MSVC simulator? c++11, c++14, c++17?Which c++ std ST used to verify and release TouchGFX?Can user change and modify the std? Any risk/ side effects to consider?

Subject: TouchGFX Custom Application FLASH Overflow Issue & QSPI Memory SetupGreetings Team,I’m new to STM32 TouchGFX and trying to create a custom TouchGFX application following How to integrate TouchGFX in a custom board (The long way round) - YouTubeAfter setting everything up, I encountered the following error during the build:`.text' will not fit in region `FLASH' region `FLASH' overflowed by 296512 bytes  I understand that my MCU has only 128KB of Flash, which is insufficient for TouchGFX. I want to configure TouchGFX to use only SDRAM instead of Flash. How does TouchGFX utilize SDRAM, and how can I correctly set it up for this purpose?Additionally, when comparing my custom application to the STM32H7 Dev Board example, I noticed different memory configurations in the Cortex-M7 section under System Core. Specifically, I don’t fully understand how QSPI Flash is mapped as two memory regions starting from 0x90000000.I've attached a screenshot for reference.

Autocomplete is not working on v2.0.0, also didn't work on v1.19.MacOS 15.5Macbook Pro 16"2,3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9Any suggestions?

Hi,I've been reviewing the documentation for the STM32WBA55, but I haven’t found a clear answer on whether it is possible to directly access the RF registers to tune to a specific RX channel (ex. 2450MHz) and measure the channel's RSSI - specifically, without relying on any protocol-specific signal like Bluetooth LE. Could you please clarify if this is supported? Thank you.

Hi, I'm trying to understand what filters I have to apply in CubeMX to find products that support 2 QUADSPI with independent clock. E.g. h7a3aii6q seems to be such part that allows me to have two independent  QUADSPI and there are parts like e.g. H743XIH6 that have QUADSPI Dual-Bank with two NCS but with only 1 Clock and there are also Parts with OCTOSPI, but they don't seem to have two independent interfaces most of them time.Any chance to make part search easier for me to find products that have features like these two independent QUADSPI?Thx

I am currently trying to build a motion detector like application using a LSM6DSV80x and it's MLC in combination with MEMS Studio (fw 2.2.0). To do so, I use the standard DataLogExtended firmware on a NUCLEO-F401RE and can successfully log and visualise data in MEMS-Studio. The MLC training can also be done successfully, and I can flash the MLC from MEMS Studio as well as use the Decision Tree Output Viewer. But then, when I want to tweak the parameters or understand what is going on, I am missing the MLC Debug Tab in MEMS Studio (as referred to in UM3233 (MLC section) completely and cannot test on already recorded data (see picture attached). So where can I find the Debug MLC Tab in MEMS Studio 2.2.0? If it was removed, which is the last MEMS Studio version that supports it?(Tested both on Mac and Windows -> same issue)

Hello @all, I've downloaded ST25DVCryptoDemo for iOS from here, in order to take a look into the demo code for a new project.Once I've tried to build the Demo app I've got a big amount of errors. In fact the console gave me this message "too many errors emitted, stopping now"Could someone please help me to fix those issues and make everything works properly?I've also download the ST25SDK but, when I've took a look the Readme file I saw that the SDK can be used for Android app and PC app (not iOS app)

Hello, are there any example parameters available to drive a stepper motor fast in current mode? I am using the EVLPOWERSTEP01 evaluation board with different stepper motors, e.g. Oriental PK267JDA (3.4V, 2.8A, 1.2Ohm) and Nanotec ST6018K2008 (4.8V, 2.0A, 2.4Ohm). Every motor stalls at 9 rev/sec. I used the settings related to UM1829 and played with all parameter values. Without any progress. How to speed up to e.g. 60 rev/sec?I attached my default parameters from the SPINFamily tool. Thanks in advance,Stephan

This is a pretty basic question but I would like a bit of clarity if possible. If a GPIO pin is configured for the fsbl code can it also be used in the Appli code?If so how would you go about defining it in the Appli code? There doesn't seem to be an option to use a GPIO pin in both fsbl and Appli in STM32CubeMX or do you have to configure it manually in the Appli code?

Hello Everybody,Here are the software and boards in this case:1. MC workbench 6.3.22. NUCLEO-F401RE/X-NUCLEO-IHM08M13.?B-G431B-ESC1I have an I-PMSM motor, and I use two boards (one is?NUCLEO-F401RE/X-NUCLEO-IHM08M1, and the other is?B-G431B-ESC1) to run the?ST Motor Profile for detecting the motor parameters. However, the motor parameters in the two test results differ significantly. For example, the result from Board 1 (NUCLEO-F401RE/X-NUCLEO-IHM08M1) is shown in picture 1, and the result from Board 2 (B-G431B-ESC1) is shown in picture 2. We can see that the motor phase resistance is 0.23 ohms, the phase inductance is 0.62 mH, and the back EMF constant is 9.32 in picture 1. And we can see that the motor phase resistance is 0.16 ohms, the phase inductance is 0.43 mH, and the back EMF constant is 10.42 in picture 2.Which result should I trust? Thanks!

Hi,I am using STM32H56x with OEMiROT_Boot example project, currently the swap method of the OEMiROT_Boot  is "MCUBOOT_SWAP_USING_SCRATCH", can I change it to MCUBOOT_SWAP_USING_MOVE?Is there any security concern use MCUBOOT_SWAP_USING_MOVE?Regards,Snaku

I've been playing around with the TrustZone Enabled on the STM32H573 board and using this tutorial:https://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/Security:How_to_start_with_OEMiRoT_on_STM32H573_and_563%E2%80%93TrustZone_enabledI had no trouble executing the tutorial, using the Debug Authentication, or changing the permission levels to attach the IAR Debugger to put breakpoints in the main functions of the Non Secure or Secure Applications. However, my group uses the STM32 Cube IDE, and I've been having trouble doing the equivalent using that tool.  I know where to enable and set up the Debug Authentication, but I'm having trouble attaching to the running target, hitting the reset button (as instructed in the above tutorial), and having the program stop at the breakpoint I have enabled in the main function of the Secure Application (before it jumps to Non Secure Init) and displaying the associated source code.  I have built all the projects (OEMiROT Boot, OEMiROT_Appli_TrustZone_Secure, and
