I have ST25R3911B-DISCO and its GUI. How can I read a NFC business card, I have ST and NXP two type business card, all is ISO14443A type. How can I read business card information? If I have a blank card, how can I make a business card?

Hi, I'm using LSM303AGR. I cannot read acceleromter 6bytes from 0x28 _ 0x2D. It is read only 0x28 register 6 times. I tried to read other register, 0x20 0x21, etc... Likewise, It is read only first address register 6 times or several times. I also checked MS bit (bit1). it is 1 of course. BUT!It works Magnetometer same way!I can read 6 registers magnetometer data.Below Configure values. Hi,I recently purchased STM32L072 MCU and designed my own PCB which has the HSE and LSE crystals. I found a weird problem when I power the MCU.-Once I connect the power, it consumes 10 mA. I programmed the MCU, without any issue. But, I found that the code never executes. Even in debug mode, the code does not start even the first function. From what i found, the system clock source is not working and it consumes 10 mA.-When I quickly connect and disconnect the power, at some point the clocking system starts working and then the MCU starts executing functions. When it is working, it consumes 1-2 mA which makes sense. At every power ON action I have to do the same.-I put a probe of oscilloscope on a pin of crystal, it is a proof. There is no signal on this pin when it consumes 10mA, while I see a perfect 8 MHz signal when it is running and consumes 1-2 mA.-I tried the internal HSI as well, and the problem is similar. Can you help to understand why this issue exists? I tried two chips and

Hi,I'm waiting for 1.4.0 due to lack of LL drivers in 1.3.0.According to the thread linked below, 1.4.0 was planned "beginning of 18Q4", is there a new roadmap or release date when we can expect it?Currently it's holding us back from using the H7 at all.Best regards, Patrickhttps://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009XkbYxSAJ/stm32cubeh7-missing-the-ll-lowlayer-api

I am trying to add a kernel module for USB serial devices following: https://askubuntu.com/questions/168279/how-do-i-build-a-single-in-tree-kernel-moduleIn order to build just the module, not a completely new kernel , I would need the Module.symvers file. Any idea where to find it?

I didn't find “dynamic_bitmap_example“ in TouchGFX

Hello, all!For some time now I have been trying to come up with a solution to connect 2 cameras of 480X640 resolution and several peripherals to a low-power MCU. I keep hitting a wall, because it seems that this endeavor is not suitable for an MCU - the large RAM required to host 600K image, the fact that I can't connect 2 USB / DCMI cameras and need several MCUs that defeat the purpose, the fact that having a DCMI, an FSC and several peripherals on the same MCU, that is also, low-power, is unheard of..So, I'm trying my luck with an MPU:does ST offer a low-power MPU that has a large RAM, >100 IOs, and most importantly - can interface 2 USB cameras? Is there a tool like MCU FInder for MPUs?Are there guides for getting strated with ST MPUs?Is it possible to perform an Over The Air Update with an ST MPU?Thanks!** Partial answers will be much appreciated as well. Just starting off with the MPU direction, and want to understand if it suits my needs and how challenging it would be.

I am not being able to download STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.15.0 what so everfrom CubeMx it shows (HTTP access forbidden) errorand when downloading it from browser .. The download always stops at 90% .. trie multiple PCs different times different connections .. all with the same result .. Please somebody share a different link to the package

**To confirm connections, I did SWIM on STM8SDiscoveryKit and STM8S103FP6 breakout board & it worked well.My board connections are as follows (STM8S Development Kit's Programmer ---> STM8S003F3): VDD -> pin 9 SWIM -> pin 18 GND -> pin 7 (GND)NRST -> pin 4 NOTE: I've connected 1uF tantalum polarized capacitors across pin 7 and pin 8(Vss & Vcap)0.1uf across pin 4 and pin 7 (NRST & Vss)1uf tantalum polarized capacitors across pin 7 and pin 9 (Vss & Vdd)** Attachments below shows the error i get while trying SWIM interface on STVD & STVP.

The B-L475E-IOT01A contains the spsgrf-915 module. I want to use this without an extension board to run FP-NET-6LPWIFI1. Is it possible? It is necessary to refer to it if possible.

I want to use Nucleo-L476RG to generate pwm output. but the problem is i can't use TIM2. TIM5 is ok. i use PA1 to generate pwm, when set PA1 as TIM2 CH2, it doesn't work. but when i use it as TIM5 CH2. it works. How can this be happened? is there any difference between TIM2 and TIM5? can someone help me? thanks in advance.Initialize code is below:   TIM_HandleTypeDef led_pwm_tim_handle; TIM_OC_InitTypeDef led_pwm_oc_init; led_pwm_tim_handle.Instance = TIM5; // tim2 not work led_pwm_tim_handle.Init.Prescaler = 80-1; led_pwm_tim_handle.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP; led_pwm_tim_handle.Init.Period = 666-1; led_pwm_tim_handle.Init.ClockDivision = TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV2; led_pwm_tim_handle.Init.RepetitionCounter = 0; led_pwm_tim_handle.Init.AutoReloadPreload = ENABLE; HAL_TIM_PWM_Init(&led_pwm_tim_handle);   led_pwm_oc_init.Pulse = 332; led_pwm_oc_init.OCMode = TIM_OCMODE_PWM1; led_pwm_oc_init.OCPolarity = TIM_OCPOLARITY_HIGH; led_pwm_oc_init.OCNPolarity

Hello,I have a problem with STM32CUBEMX v5.1.0. I cannot download a new embedded software package, I receive an error that package is not available. I have that package downloaded and I tried to load this in cubemx using "from local" option and again I received an error like that: "Problem during Unzip the file"I tried with older software packages and I got the same errors.

I have erased, have written (with HAL) but a can't read with HAL.

Hello,I am currently trying to load a very simple TouchGFX (v 4.10.0) project to my STM32F469i-discovery (just a scene with a white background, a text and a button). I created my project using CubeMX (v 5.1.0) and I was able to compile it, the screen just show the scene in the right way, but the problem is that the Touch Screen is not working. So I noticed that the file: {ProjectRoot}\TouchGFX\target\OTM8009TouchController.cpp had some commented code, which I think i need to de-comment in order to let the Touch Screen works. The problem is that I need to include the BSP drivers which I have in an external folder on my computer: C:\users\username\STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.24.0\Drivers\BSP\STM32469I-DiscoveryI tried to add a "#include <stm32469i_discovery_ts.h>" after including the external folder into Project -> Build Settings -> C/C++ Build -> C Compiler -> Directories, but it continued to give me some errors (it could not found a reference to ft6x06_ts_d

I have not tried, I would need this 'feature':Have a GPIO pin configured as Open Drain output, driven by the MCU. If MCU sets it to high but on the outside an external chip drives it low - could I read the status on the external pin without to change the direction of the GPIO?Do I see the signal level on the pin or would I read back my '1' I have written to output register?(I know, I can read back on outputs, but my understanding is: it reads back the output register value, not really the signal level, e.g. if there would be a short.)Why: Assume I would try to implement an I2C in GPIO mode (I would need 4 Mbps which is not supported by the native I2C peripheral). So, for the SDA line I use Open Drain out. But during the phase for the ACK/NACK bit which is driven by the external I2C slave, I want to read how this external SDA signal is driven, e.g. low for ACK.Changing the direction of MCU GPIO pin all the time, in order to read the SDA input for 1 clock period, would be time consuming

I want to connect the PF1-OSC_OUT pin to another circuit on my board, to use this 32.768kHz clock for another counter. ( instead of adding another crystal )Would this be a problem?  I can buffer it to minimize pulling the crystal. Any suggestions?(I've never attempted this on a STM32 part)Thanks

Hello,i just want to use the Internal EEPROM of my STM32L052.I followed the short description in the STM32CubeMX manual. But it is not working. Here my small code example HAL_FLASHEx_DATAEEPROM_Unlock(); HAL_FLASHEx_DATAEEPROM_Erase(0x08080000U); //HAL_FLASHEx_DATAEEPROM_EnableFixedTimeProgram();?? HAL_FLASHEx_DATAEEPROM_Program (FLASH_TYPEPROGRAMDATA_WORD, 0x08080000U, 0x123456); HAL_FLASHEx_DATAEEPROM_Lock(); HAL_Delay(100); xprintf("EEPROM 0:\n\r",(*(__IO uint32_t*) 0x08080000U));Sadly it is not working. There is also no good example which helps me with that.Any ideas?Best regards Max

Hi, I'm fairly new to arm platform. I'm trying to communicate between 2 MCU via Canbus. with the latest HAL Library I set up 4 filters (2 for each fifo) id mask type , 32Bit. I am receiving my messages from correct fifos. what I cant get is filter matching index. If I set all my filters to FIFO0 then I get 2x Filter Bank Number(ex: Filter bank number = 4 / Matching index = 8)But if I set the filters to FIFO1 then I get 0 no matter I do.I read the refference manual for filtering but I couldn't find any detailed explanation for itany help on this?

Hello, I am getting acquainted with FreeRTOS using HAL Libraries. For that I have created two tasks, Task 1 and Task 2 and am simply printing "Task 1" and "Task 2" over a UART. If I build the project from scratch, then I get the text, data, bss sizes appropriate to the application. However, if I change settings on CubeMX and regenerate more that 2 or 3 times, I start getting this: make --no-print-directory post-build Generating hex and Printing size information: arm-none-eabi-objcopy -O ihex "RTOS_Trial4.elf" "RTOS_Trial4.hex" arm-none-eabi-size "RTOS_Trial4.elf" text data bss dec hex filename 8 0 0 8 8 RTOS_Trial4.elf   17:12:39 Build Finished (took 20s.149ms)I checked linker settings and they are the same as before. No amount of optimization settings will bring the code size down to so low. If I remake the project from scratch, then I get my values back. But I am confused as to why the above happens. Since the above project got built, I still tried to write it to my

I am using #[STM32 MCUs] #Cortex-m0 . In linker file we have symbol: __ICFEDIT_region_ROM_start__ How we can use this symbol in application ?I have assigned &__ICFEDIT_region_ROM_start__ to Pointer.i.e int *p = &__ICFEDIT_region_ROM_start__now using p we can fetch the data define by symbol __ICFEDIT_region_ROM_start__.I want that data to be in macro definition. How i can use?#define ROM_address   __ICFEDIT_region_ROM_start__ ( ROM_address holds wrong data )

Hi, I am new to microcontroller programming and I am having some trouble making a PWM wave with a STM32F767ZI Nucleo board. I was able to make a led blink with interrupts and now I am trying to fade it in and out, but for some reason I can't. While debuging and can se that at the moment the code executes:TIM4->CCER |= 0x10; //Enables the result of CC on the corresponding pinThe blue led immediately ligghts up with full power, even though the counter has not been started yet. The full code is shown bellow. Has anyone any idea as to why this is happening, I have read it through The technical reference manual countless times and the General purpose timer cookbook#include "stm32f767xx.h"   void RCC_Config(void); void GPIOB_Init(void); void Config_TIM4(void);   int main(void){   RCC_Config();   GPIOB_Init();   Config_TIM4();   while(1){   } }   void GPIOB_Init(){ GPIOB->MODER |= 0x8000; //Sets PB7 as output (Blue led) GPIOB-&gt

Hi all!Let's say I'm developing a board around a particular STM32, but I want to be able to switch it for one with, lets say, with a larger RAM. How can I know if 2 MCUs are entirely identical, when it comes to footprint and pinout? Is there some trick / tool to know this? Thanks!

Hi, i'm using a STGIPL20K60 IPM (SDIP-38L) .I have a two questions :Regarding the control signals :on ST website produt page regarding which states "Logical Function" : "Negative Input" ; this information is not stated in product's datasheet and not clear enough ?And in the datasheet gate signals input (HIN and LIN = "NOT LIN") are mentioned, does this mean that wanted LIN signal have to be inverted ? The truth table states quite the opposite and is contradictory with the waveforms (page 14). (maybe a typo?)Rearding bootstrap sizing :the product's datasheet doesn't cite all the parameters for a correct (exact) bootstrap capacitor sizing (IGBT and driver parameters).VF: bootstrap diode forward voltage dropVRDS(on): DMOS voltage dropand :QGATE: total MOSFET gate chargeILKGS: MOSFET gate source leakage currentIQBO: bootstrap circuit quiescentILK: bootstrap circuit leakage currentILKDiode: bootstrap diode leakage currentQLS: charge required by the internal level shiftersI'll be glad if any

I'm using mbed coding on stm32L432kc nucleo board. I'm copying the code from the stm32 cube code examples to put my MCU in shutdown [https://github.com/Rayling35/STM32Cube_FW_L4_V1.12.0/blob/master/Projects/NUCLEO-L432KC/Examples/PWR/PWR_SHUTDOWN/Src/main.c] The code compiles fine. I just added an LED blink inside the while (1) loop after the shutdown command to see if the MCU has wakeup up but it never blinks.Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
