I am using keil compiler and loading the .axf file.Other than global variable which are arrays no other global variables are visible in the variable list for selection.What i am missing here?

Hi all, I just want to decompress a .zip/.7z file store on external flash. Could some one tell me some sort of library work with STM MCUs meet my requirement?Thanks in advance.

I designed new board with STM32WB55CGU6 based on MB1993C (P-NUCLEO-USBDongle). You can see my schematic attached(I uploaded both P-nucleo schematic and my schematic). But I can't connect to my MCU through SWD pins (DIO,CLK,NRST). I use st-link, I can connect to P-nucleo usbdongle with these 3 pins, but I can't connect to my MCU. ST-Link can't find MCU. Unfortunately one of the crystals in my design (which is connected to pins number 23 and 24) has wrong footprint, but at least I should be able to connect to the MCU. does anyone know what is the problem?

Hi!I'm in search of a better GUI programming path :) Now trying Xlib.Here is a simple program from the Internet#include <stdio.h> #include <stdlib.h> #include <string.h> #include <errno.h> #include <X11/Xlib.h> extern int errno; int main( void ) {   Display *d;   Window w;   XEvent e;   char *msg = "Hello, World!";   int s;   if( ( d = XOpenDisplay( getenv("DISPLAY" ) ) ) == NULL )   { // Connect X server      printf( "Can't connect X server: %s\n", strerror( errno ) );      exit( 1 );   }   s = DefaultScreen( d );   w = XCreateSimpleWindow( d, RootWindow( d, s ), 10, 10, 200, 200, 1, BlackPixel( d, s ), WhitePixel( d, s ) );   XSelectInput( d, w, ExposureMask | KeyPressMask );   XMapWindow( d, w );             &nbs

Hello everyone,I'm testing a MP34DT05 digital MEMS microphone, and my goal is to record direct values to a python file. After this, I will do the decimation in my computer (to get comfortable with the data)-I was thinking about receiving data by a COM PORT via USART, but now I'm thinking about the problem of exceeding the baud rate of USART, because I'm recording sound at a rate of 48kHz.I'm seeing the buffer being filled through the live expression of Atomic Studio. The perfect thing would be to catch all the values by IDE, but, to the best of my knowledge, it is not possible with this IDE, right?Thank you for your attention, and I hope I can learn a little more with this message.

Hi all:I want to read mailbox message from nfc tag at nfc reader side.But i cann't find an example of how to read it, i find an api rfalST25xVPollerReadMessage, but don't know how to use it. Can anyone share it?

Hello everyoneHow can I download earlier versions of STemWin library from ST website? Best regards

Hi,I designed a small board with STM32L433RCT6 MCU because in addition to meeting my requirements it also has SDIO. I've confirmed this in reference manual and in CUBEMx. While I was waiting for my board, I bought a Nucelo-L433RC to start develop some code. For my surprise, when I chose this board in CubeMx the SDIO doesn't appear on Connectivity section.Any one knows how can I fix or mitigate this problem?Thanks in advance

Hello,I'm trying to use temperature sensor and the internal voltage reference (VREFINT) of the STM32f042k6.Here is the extract form the datasheet (page 19/117) :When I measure these values, I don't have the same values than ST.For example, let's watch the internal voltage reference :VREFINT_CAL (factory calibration) is 1529 (12 bits ADC value)if I measure it myself with the DAC, I get 1470 (12 bits ADC value).The difference is too high and I can't use theses data. Maybe the problem come from a bad configuration ?If I set the STM32 voltage to 3.2 V, it is more accurate, but, in ST datasheet, the calbiration was done with 3.3V...My hardware :only one power supply for Vdd and Vdda : 3.29 V (checked with multimeter)temperature : 18°CADC config : 12 bits, max sampling time (239.5 cycles)STM32 frequency : 48MhzI'm using HAL libraryThanks for reading,Best regards,Valentin

Hello, everyone.When downloading the code using STM32CubeProgrammer, I was able to download the code to the location I wanted by specifying the start address.What I'm curious about is how to set up to download to where I want to be when I debug and download using STM32CubeIDE. (For example, download code to flash memory bank 2 sector 0)Is there any way like this?

Hi all,I'm conducting a project which require to Wireless Internet 3G: a remote speaker that can receive and broadcast audio file from a server. Until now, I have listed out some basic criteria for MCU selection mostly relating to peripherals requirements, such as: SDIO for SD card, I2S for audio, Ethernet and UART for Internet connection, STM32 MCU (cuz I'm familiar with it). For these general requirements, many MCUs are able to adapt. So I need to list a more specific criteria.Could you guys suggest me which items do I need to focus ( SRAM, Flash memory, clock speed ...) ?Currently, I'm considering STM32F437VGT6, but I'm not sure it have enough power to run reliably or not ?I know it quite of general, but if you need more information about my project, pls raise a question.

Hello Everyone, I am storing some variables in the model and access them from different screens. When the values are initialized they have the correct value however after a while they get random values that are outside the ranges that I store in them. I use a member function on both presenter to get the value from a get function on model. The corrupted values are quite large which makes me suspect the values get overwritten with different data. I also setup breakpoints on the tick function inside model and the values are fine but it might be something else that makes the change after a while or on a screen change.

As far as I searched, I couldnt find any instruction on using Touchgfx via fsmc. Even examples on Touchgfx designer was to use LTDC feature of microcontrollers. I wonder if developers of touchgfx has extend their platform to FSMC or if they have any intention to provide some code for using touchgfx on fsmc. I used stemwin successfully some days ago and I wonder if it is possible to use touchgfx on stm32f407vgtx (Discovery board.)

I have a STEVAL-SMARTAG1 eval board. The documents say to use an ST-Link/V2, but the ST-Link/V3 product page says that it's now the only supported programmer. So...which one should I get?! :)

Hi, In my current design all back end modules are communicating with GUI via model. In model im reading queue inside tick function. In case of any state change occurs it is notified to the corresponding presenter. I have placed all business logic related to that screen in presenter, in presenter i'm receiving blocking message call this made the model to miss ticks. Due to this screen rendering gets affected. How to resolve this issue? Do i need to change entire design.

STM32F413zhj6 bga package, customer has noticed strange behaviour on the IBIS model. When modelling output of K11 and K12 (PD14 ans PD15) the capacitance for the mdel is in the nF range. This is very large when compared to the other pins where they are in pF range. Is this an error in the IBIS model or is there something internal causing this? I do expect its the model, I can't see from a silicon point how you have nF on a pin!

Hello,I'm trying to connect SIM7000E with STM32L476VGT by using UART4 (PA0 as Tx and PA1 as Rx)I'm already using USART2 to show messages in RealTerm and I can't use the other UARTs because I can't find the pins on the board.This is the code I'm trying to run :HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, (uint8_t*)"Start program\r\n", sizeof "Start program\r\n", 1000);   char RxTx_Buffer[30] = "";   HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart4, (uint8_t*)"ATE0\r\n", sizeof "ATE0\r\n", 100);   HAL_UART_Receive(&huart4, (uint8_t*)RxTx_Buffer, 20, 500);   if(strstr(RxTx_Buffer, "OK") != NULL)   {      HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, (uint8_t*)"Ok\r\n", sizeof "Ok\r\n", 1000);   }   else if(strstr(RxTx_Buffer, "ERROR") != NULL)   {      HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, (uint8_t*)"Error\r\n", sizeof "Error\r\n", 1000);

I've noticed that when I enter the specific development board model, say for instance Nucleo-32 STM32G431 in my case, if I switch to HSE, the crystal is always set to 8Mhz, even if the crystal on the board isn't (i.e. it's 24Mhz in this case).It would be great if the UI could be updated to additionally fill this in to match the hardware that the user has purchased.It's the little details like this that make the software feel more approachable for users.Thanks!

I am writing a C++ I2C driver that would operate as a SLAVE device operating under interrupt and without CLOCK STRETCHING using STM32H732zi nucleo board My problem is that the first byte that I tried to transmit seems to always be 0xFF no matter what I do. I have tried to show code snippet here.Can anyone see anything I might be doing wrong in the way I am handling the interrupt service routine. I have tried different implementation and this seemsto show the most consistent behavior.Even though the code seems to be partially work I noticed the odd behaviorthe interrupt firing about 200 times which does not make sense to me especiallywhen I am the slave device is the only one on the bus with the master.I found that if I test and clear the I2C_ISR_ADDR flag in the ISR then theinterrupt fires about 7 times since I am only send about 7 bytes but then it only output all 0xFF.// // i2cinterface.h // #ifndef I2C_INTERFACE_H #define I2C_INTERFACE_H   enum I2CEnum { i2c1 = 0, i2c2 = 1,

Has anyone been able to create a working project with CubeMX 5.5 and TouchGFX 4.13?

According to the ST boot mode selection (page 236), we can activate the bootloader following the pattern: Boot0(pin) = 1 and Boot1(pin) = 0; but the DatasheetSTM32L0 doesn’t specify which one is the BOOT1 pin in the pin description (page 33). I could only find the BOOT0 pin.
