I have gone through the vn5e010ah datasheet but it will not explain about the formula to calculation of Vsense , Rsense with respect to load current.

I have NUCLEO-STM32H743 board and some STM32H750 MCU-s. As I can see in the board manual, it has on board SWD interface. I want to use that board to program and debug aforementioned MCU-s and, as far as I can see, this should be possible. Where can I find connection diagram for this?I am just starting to build the PCB board for my project and I have to reserve pins for SWD connection. Also some questions:If I stick to programming debugging using NUCLEO boards, what are the drawbacks of using it instead of ST-Link?ST-linkV2 is much cheaper than ST-linkV3. What are the differences?

Hi Technical Team,I have SPC560P-DISP Discovery board which is based on the 32-bit microcontrollers Power Architecture® Core SPC560P50L5. For programming this board, i am referring "RM0022 Reference manual"( revision history of document : Revision - 8 and Date :10-Jul-2015). SPC560P-DISP Discovery board has 32 external interrupt only (Table : 99 (EIRQ[0:31]) in reference document ). But i need to configure 80 input resources as external interrupt. My question are1. How can i directly configure 80 input resources as external interrupt?2. If it is not possible for 80 external interrupts, what is the alternate solution for this?Please provide your input to proceed my development work.

I'm trying to generate a signal from DAC3 (connected only to internal peripherals) from my G473 and output that value through OPAMP1 in follower mode. The output of the pin of the OPAMP is stuck at low forever however. I set the DAC from CUBEIDE as such:static void MX_DAC3_Init(void)   { DAC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0}; hdac3.Instance = DAC3; if (HAL_DAC_Init(&hdac3) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }   /** DAC channel OUT1 config */ sConfig.DAC_HighFrequency = DAC_HIGH_FREQUENCY_INTERFACE_MODE_AUTOMATIC; sConfig.DAC_DMADoubleDataMode = DISABLE; sConfig.DAC_SignedFormat = DISABLE; sConfig.DAC_SampleAndHold = DAC_SAMPLEANDHOLD_DISABLE; sConfig.DAC_Trigger = DAC_TRIGGER_NONE; sConfig.DAC_Trigger2 = DAC_TRIGGER_NONE; sConfig.DAC_OutputBuffer = DAC_OUTPUTBUFFER_DISABLE; sConfig.DAC_ConnectOnChipPeripheral = DAC_CHIPCONNECT_INTERNAL; sConfig.DAC_UserTrimming = DAC_TRIMMING_FACTORY; if (HAL_DAC_ConfigChannel(&hdac3, &sConfig, DAC_CHANNEL_1) != HAL_OK)

Hi ST Community,I am having trouble to make a NDEF record in a ST25DV16k tag be recognized by Android 8.0, I already read both AN4910 and AN4911 and understood the limitations in Android 8.1 regarding the NDEF and CC headers, but my problem is that even when I clone the memory content from a working ST25DV04K tag into a ST25DV16K, the 16K tag is still not being recognized by the Android 8.1 smartphone, here are the memory contents of both tags:  As can be seen on the images, the whole content of the 04K tag was mirrored into the 16K tag, including the CC file and the NDEF header, so for all intents and purposes the 16K tag must be interpreted as a 512 Bytes tag, and the NDEF record (ST website) must be correctly identified, right?The Android 8.0 phone correctly identifies the 04K tag record and opens the website, but when the 16k tag is presented it only gives the option to open ST25 app, showing that the NDEF record was not recognized by the android system.In a smartphone wi

Hi everyone, My question is what do I have to do ?I read too much information about IAP to really understand what do I need to do. Our firmware is working great for now, we want to update the firmware without stop everything and on restart we can be in the newer firmware. The image "On the fly.png" shows our procedure.During the upload process, we get the byte through the UART (parsed because of our protocol) and put these data in the FLASH (actually it works for put / read data at address 0x08100000), "Memory map.png". I want to do it really simple :Our initial firmware is contained in the Flash Bank 1 ;Transfer firmware through UART to Flash Bank 2 ;Restart in bootloader mode so we go to Flash Bank 2 = newer firmware. So my idea was to :Upload all data from START_ADDRESS = 0x0810000 ;BOOT0 is connected to ground (so 0) -> start in bootloader ;BFB2 should be 1;FB_MODE should be 0 because at each upload we send data to the address 0x0810000. But I read some

Hello Everyone, I am using STM32F767 and have generated code from STM32CubeMX. I am trying to convert a string of hexadecimal to float value, but it seems that the float is not converting the value. I am using Keil IDE UV5 ,and I have tried setting "Floating point hardware" in Target options with "Not used", "Single precision" as well as "Double precision", but nothing seems to work. Am I missing something? or is anything needed to be done so that "float" conversion works?My code is as follows:-char val[20];float f; uint32_t num; sprintf(val,"%02x%02x%02x%02x",0x43,0x71,0x3E,0xE9); printf("val is %s\n\r",val); sscanf(val,"%x",&num); printf("num %x -- %d\n\r",num,num); f = *((float*)&num); f = ((float)num); printf("float is %.2f\n\r",f);This prints "float is 1131495145.00" whereas it should be "241.245743"Help will be appreciated.Thank you.

I have to keep a pin high for a certain amount of time, about 1us, I figured that it probably makes sense to do this with a timer. I was going to use SysTick but I decided that it makes mores sense to learn the timer peripherals.I think I have the configuration and execution steps correct to make a simple function to create an approx. delay (for testing purposes) but I cannot seem to get it working as desired. I did notice that I was not able to see the CEN bit enabled when debugging, but I imagine that this is not possible? Below is my code, any hints appreciated!// GPIO registers previously enabled and set up, they are // confirmed to work.   /* config TIM6 */ // Enable TIMER6 as it is on the APB1 bus RCC->APB1ENR |= RCC_APB1ENR_TIM6EN;   // One pulse mode (counter stops counting after event) TIM6->CR1 |= (TIM_CR1_OPM);   /* Function for delay */ void delay1us(void) { /* execute a delay */ // Clear update event flag TIM6->SR = 0;   // Prescaler TIM6-

We have CubeMX installed on Ubuntu 18, have been using it with no issues. We now need to update to 6.1.1 howver when enter SetupSTM32CubeMX-6.1.1.linux it responds with command not found. The file is the correct user with chmod to 777, we have tried sudo. We have looked at the 6.1.1 release ReadMe.We are installing from a normal Linux prompt.

Hi,I have implemented a hardware button that changed the screen displayed.It works fine when using the hardware.I also want it to work with the simulator using the computer keyboard.I think it is what the "Choose button key" in TouchGFX is for (correct me if I am wrong).In the .touchgfx file I added the following:"PhysicalButtons": [ { "Key": 0, "Name": "PwrSwitch" } ],Then in screen interaction:When running the simulator, I was hoping that by clicking on the computer keyboard "0" key, the interaction would be triggered. I tried both "0" key on the keyboard but nothing happens.Please let me know if I am missing something.Franck.Config:MCU: STM32H743CubeMx: 6.1.1CubeIDE: 1.5.1Firmware Package: FW_H7 1.8.0

Hello Gals/Guys. I recently purchased a NUCLEO-F439ZI after playing around with F0-DISCOVERY. As is tradition, I wanted to make a LED blink. I have failed miserably. I started in CubeMX to for the initial setup using all the defaults. Using the ST IDE I put the following in the main loop. Nothing happens. The same process works fine on my F0-DISCOVERY.  HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOB, LD1_Pin);  HAL_Delay(5000);I have no idea where to start trouble shooting this madness. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.One thing I have noticed when executing is the TX/RX lights are constantly flashing. /* Includes ------------------------------------------------------------------*/ #include "main.h"   /* Private includes ----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN Includes */   /* USER CODE END Includes */   /* Private typedef -----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN PTD */   /* USER CODE EN

Dear community members,I wanted to use keyboard API but yet haven't found any "how to" for using this API. I know that there is an example in designer, but the codes are really advanced. Even the API documents are not going to make it easy to use (at least for me).Any help would be appreciated, at least any clue that ease the start of using this API.

I'm working on project that is including ADC, timers and virtual UART. I'm working on STM32MP157C-DK2 board. So I started from example OpenAMP_FreeRTOS_echo from CubeMP1 software package v1.2.0. I'm using CubeIDE v1.4.0. When I reboot STM32MP1 and debug for the first time after reboot, and place breakpoint into HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback function in which HAL_IncTick is called, everything is fine and the program is stopping here. Problem is that when I debug for the second time (and software on M4 is stopped before 2nd debug) program is not stopping on breakpoint and the HAL tick is not getting incremented. The code is not being modified, it is the same as in examples. On boot I choose the device tree number 3 which is used for M4 examples. Question is why is this happening and do I need to reboot the board every time I want to debug?Thanks in advance,Nenad

Hello.Reffering to AN4207(Doc ID 023945 Rev 1) Single ended zero reference mode (Page 9):This mode injects an input common mode of half scale to the ADC thus maintaining the dynamic range the same as in differential mode (-32767 to +32767). In this mode, the injected common mode is dependent on gain variations. The formula is: Vin = SDADCx_AINyP = (ReadData + 32767) * Vref/(gain x 65535)I suspect here is a mistake. There should be -32768 (0x8000) instead of -32767 (0x8001).And the formula should apply offset 32768 to ReadData.Or how to explan SDADC_GetInjectedConversionValue() returning 0x8000 in case of connecting ADC input to ground?

I use STM32F103CB in my project. but I found timer interrupt fastest time can't less than 1us. Timer prescaler is 0, up counter mode, counter period is 36, no inernal clock division and auto-reload enable. When timer interrupt occur. I set Pin high and low in turn. But the output time from the pin is 1us./* TIM2 init function */void MX_TIM2_Init(void){ TIM_ClockConfigTypeDef sClockSourceConfig = {0}; TIM_MasterConfigTypeDef sMasterConfig = {0}; htim2.Instance = TIM2; htim2.Init.Prescaler = 0; htim2.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP; htim2.Init.Period = 36; htim2.Init.ClockDivision = TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV1; htim2.Init.AutoReloadPreload = TIM_AUTORELOAD_PRELOAD_ENABLE; if (HAL_TIM_Base_Init(&htim2) != HAL_OK) {  Error_Handler(); } sClockSourceConfig.ClockSource = TIM_CLOCKSOURCE_INTERNAL; if (HAL_TIM_ConfigClockSource(&htim2, &sClockSourceConfig) != HAL_OK) {  Error_Handler();

I want to ensure that the user fits our portable battery powered radar onto the back of a vehicle in the correct orientation. I want to monitor this using an accelerometer, I am considering using the LIS2DH12 but I'm not sure if this is suitable and therefore need help in selecting an accelerometer. Also I did look at using the ADXL345 from Analog devices but don't understand why there is a huge price difference when compared to the LIS2DH12.

I want to copy ethernet part of the STM32H750 Discovery board. But I could not find the Schematics. And what is the manufacturer's type of the ethernet connector?

I want to keep 2 application files inside the flash and jump to either using a command. When using the STM32 cubeIDE for development, the .bin file is generated under debug folder. I couldn't find the .hex file though. I want to know what is the metadata that is included in the .bin file and where they are. In one of the documents I read, it said the first address contains the magic number, then firmware size, firmware header size, and so on. How can I know exactly what are they and where it is stored in a firmware file. thank you

Hi,I’m using STM32L476VGT6 device with external flash memory in QPI mode. Everything works fine until I try to send a command byte with no address and no data. For example, when I try to send the command 0xF5 (exit QPI mode), on the logic analyzer I can see that line IO1 is not controlled by the MCU and stays low. But with the same configuration, when I add address byte everything works well again. It looks like with just command byte sent, line IO1 stays in MISO mode instead of QPI mode.Pinout of the logic analyzer: CS – 6 CLK – 4 IO0 – 7 IO1 – 5 IO2 – 3 IO3 – 2Sending command 0xF5 with no address and no data. I programmed the STM32L151RET6 to gives the RTC interrupt using line EXTI20. The system is waking-up from sleep mode at every second, it execute a small code and left the interrupt. For example:void RTC_IRQ_Handler(void){ // { my code here } //   PWR->CR |= PWR_CR_DBP;         //   RTC->ISR &= ~RTC_ISR_WUTF;      //  PWR->CR &= ~PWR_CR_DBP;   //   EXTI_ClearPendingExti20();}The interrup is working but I have few seconds delay/day.The flag RTC_ISR_WUTF can be erase only if the flag PWR_CR_DBP is set before.The RTC clock is working well if I don't use the interrupt.If I let always the flag PWR_CR_DBP set, the interrupt is executed but the RTC clock is stoped. THe date and time are freeze. If the flag RTC_ISR_WUTF is not reset inside of interrupt routine the interrupt is executed only once (it's normal).The RTC clock which I used

I have a question,I have no any USB-OTG interface can be used to help me burning and I can only use SD card to run my board. How can I make this SD-Card work only on linux command lines for example "dd" and so on. I have made tf-a uboot kernel(image) dtb and rootfs. I wish someone can help me ,thank you so much.
