Is "Duration" for wakeup based on the "LOW power freq" (ie the selected value from 0,5 to 10Hz) or from the "NORMAL ODR" mode (ie; the selected value from 50 to 1000) ?Is possible to manage to have the interrupt (INT1) only when Threshold/duration is passed ?

Hello Community,I am working on the LIS2DE12 accelerometer. using the example code by STM.https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STMems_Standard_C_driversI am making a test case with the lis2de12_filter_hp_rst_on_int.c example.I have placed a module on the ground. still getting invalid results on the output. pi@raspberrypi:~/test/lis2de12_STdC $ ./main.bin tx_com : Acceleration [mg]: 15.60 -46.80 904.80 25 tx_com : Acceleration [mg]: 0.00 0.00 0.00 15 tx_com : Acceleration [mg]: 0.00 0.00 15.60 15 tx_com : Acceleration [mg]: 0.00 0.00 0.00 15 tx_com : Acceleration [mg]: 0.00 0.00 0.00 15 tx_com : Acceleration [mg]: 0.00 0.00 0.00 15 tx_com : Acceleration [mg]: 0.00 0.00 0.00 15 tx_com : Acceleration [mg]: 0.00 0.00 0.00 15 tx_com : Acceleration [mg]: 15.60 -15.60 0.00 15 tx_com : Acceleration [mg]: 15.60 -15.60 -15.60 15 tx_com : Acceleration [mg]: 0.00 0.00 0.00 15 tx_com : Acceleration [mg]: 0.00 0.00 0.00 15 tx_com : Acceleration [mg]: -15.60 -15.60 0.00 15 tx_com : Acceleration [mg]

Hello,I have a custom board with an eMMC on it and with no SD card available. In the U-Boot device tree I have the following line (On sdmmc2 is my eMMC):aliases{ mmc0 = &sdmmc2; };The U-Boot seems to partly have a problem with it. Commands like "mmc write" or "mmc info" use the MMC Interface 0 - they set "curr_device" to 0 by default (unless I use "mmc dev 1"). And this is not a problem. However, the MMC environment works with MMC interface 1, which leads to failures. What I find the most weird is the following function in the mmc.c file:static int env_mmc_save(void) { ALLOC_CACHE_ALIGN_BUFFER(env_t, env_new, 1); int dev = mmc_get_env_dev(); ... }The variable dev in the line 4 is always 1, I guess since the eMMC is set as boot instance 1.To sum up: The MMC functions work by default with mmc 0, the env MMC works by defalt with mmc 1.PS: I could maybe use the MMC 1 and use the 'mmc dev 1' at the beginning, but the STMCubeProgrammer cannot flash the devce as it comes with an error

Hello,i made custom board for STM32F031F6P6 chip, made few prototypes and flashed 5 prototypes with no problem. Then the current STM32 shortage hit my suppliers so i switched to STM32L031F6P6 on same board. I checked the datasheet and pinout and it looks the same, but when i solder it on same board, i cant get ST-LINK debugger to detect target. In attached picture is circuit, i only soldered down power supply(LDO) and the MCU to eliminate any other possible causes of problems. ST-LINK FW is V2J37s7 and i use CUBEIDE.Conenctions on STlink/V2 are:1-3.3V4-GND7-SWDIO9-SWDCLK15-RSTP.S. i tried same pinout connection with nucleo F072RB and it works. So i assume something is wrong on my PCB. But i based my PCB on the Nucleo schmetacis and i cant find what i missed.

Typically text Single Use Ids are removed when the element is removed. I have also found that they are removed when I change the text area to use a Resource ID.However, I have a few that refuse to disappear.I am attempting to go to a text resource with wildcards only in my application. When I select the wildcard, I am not placing a default value to prevent these Single Use Ids.They are showing up in the following files as well as Touchgfx project file and texts.xlsx but NO WHERE ELSE in my project (including any base screen files): Any ideas?

hi i use of iar embedded workbench arm.But after seeing the ads and features of stm32cubeIDE, I used stm32cubeIDE for testing. There are two major drawbacks to stm32cubeIDE:1. The generated hex code is almost twice as long as iar(in flash memory).2- The execution speed of the program is almost 2 times slower than iar.The amount of RAM used in stm32cubeIDE was slightly higher and can be ignored.A large project was used for the experiment, in which almost most of the features of micro stm32f407vg were used. This experiment was performed for micro stm32f030f4 with a small project that opened the result as before.I urge developers to address these two important issues.Friends, please share your experiences. Thanks

I am using 2 passive tamper detection in my board that is routed to PC1 (TAMP_IN3) and PC13 (TAMP_IN1) and I want to handle both tamper pins events in linux userspace. I have achieved my goal by adding small code at plat_setup and disabling tamper in device tree. I also modified the init function in stm32_tamp so it won't reset my configuration. In addition, I also disable secure tamp to make sure that I can modify the register in linux userspace. Inside my small code, I reset the tamp configuration first (copy from stm32_tamp_reset_register) and enable TAMP_IN1 and TAMP_IN3 by setting bit 0 and bit 2 in TAMP_CR1 register. I also set bit 0 and bit 2 in TAMP_CR2 register as I don't want to erase backup memory after tamper event. This my code snippet/* Enable clock */ mmio_write_32(RCC_BASE | RCC_MP_APB5ENSETR, mmio_read_32(RCC_BASE | RCC_MP_APB5ENSETR) | RCC_MP_APB5ENSETR_RTCAPBEN);   /* unlock rtc protection */ mmio_write_32(PWR_BASE + 0x00, mmio_read_32(PWR_BASE + 0x00) | (1 <

I installed STM32CUBEMX version 6.1.1 for the project of STM32L5. As I edited Project, I couldn't change Toolchain/IDE to SW4STM32.As below image, I could select only EWARM, MDK-ARM, and STM32CubeIDE.When I make the code through other toolchain except for SW4STM32, in Workbench, I can't build the code. I already have installed the latest Firmware Package for STM32L5. What can i do? Thank you for your answer in advance. Thank you.

What is the difference between the marking "SH" and "S2" for the part number LSM6DS3?Please advise if the correct top marking SH" and "S2" are both valid. Thanks

Hi ST,I follow this video to implement my USB HID Project https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3JGRt3BFYrM&ab_channel=STMicroelectronicsOn the Win7, it work perfect, but when I use Win10 as PC Host, it cannot workjust like bellow picture    Please Help me to fix this issue :downcast_face_with_sweat: thanksTony Wu

I wrote some software that reliably measures the number of memory cycles required to retrieve 16 and 32-bit operands from the Cortex-M4 memory. When a 16-bit operand fits within a 32-bit physical word, I would have expected that only a single memory cycle would be necessary to read or write the data, but that's apparently not the case if it's in the MIDDLE of a 32-bit physical word. And when a 32-bit operand is stored at an address off by 1 or 3 from being word-aligned, it takes THREE cycles (instead of the expected two). Take a look at the attached summary of results. Can anyone explain why the results are not as expected (as shown in red)? Thanks!Dan

Hi,I would like to use USB Type C for powering a microcontroller board with a STM32L476JG dedicated to driving different types of piezos. Depending on the driven piezos the overall power consumption of the board can reach up to 8 W.I came across the TCPP01-M12 datasheet demonstrating a circuit for up to 15 W (5V/3A) of power in conjunction with microcontrollers without USB C Power Delivery hardware which nearly perfectly fits my requirements: However, my problem is that I am nearly running out of free microcontroller pins and therefore I'd like to know whether it is really necessary to implement one ADC channel for sensing the VBUS voltage and one GPIO for enabling or disabling the VCC of the TCPP01-M12 as they are not marked as "not mandatory".I understand that the GPIO1 is used in order to let the TCPP01-M12 start in dead battery condition but as far as I understood the way USB Type C without power delivery works is that in principle I just have to pull down both CC lines with a

hey thereI try to receive some characters using UART and here is the confighuart1.Instance = USART1;   huart1.Init.BaudRate = 4800;   huart1.Init.WordLength = UART_WORDLENGTH_8B;   huart1.Init.StopBits = UART_STOPBITS_1;   huart1.Init.Parity = UART_PARITY_EVEN;   huart1.Init.Mode = UART_MODE_TX_RX;   huart1.Init.HwFlowCtl = UART_HWCONTROL_NONE;   huart1.Init.OverSampling = UART_OVERSAMPLING_16;  I use HTerm as a serial terminal to send data to it. I set the Baud rate to 4800, Data length to 7bits(I used CubeMX config, there it indicates the word length is parity included, so 8bits means 7bits+1parity I guess), and 1 stop bit and parity as EVEN. things go wrong for some characters: for example 0xAF and 0xC5 are received as 0x2F and 0x45 respectively. some other characters are received OK such as: 0x41 or 0x00.. why is that? I noticed that the error is happening in the last bit of the faulty bytes, why is that?

We have a wide-input power management ic with buck-boost converter. 28V VBUS is not a problem. So is it possible to eliminate the N-MOSFET (at least in Sink mode)? If it is OK, what is your recommendation for connections of IN_GD, Gate, and Source pin?

As of version 1.1.0 of X-CUBE-SUBG2, file app_x-cube-subg2.c contains two uninitialized pointers. typedef struct { uint8_t Cmdtag; uint8_t CmdType; uint8_t CmdLen; uint8_t Cmd; uint8_t DataLen; uint8_t* DataBuff; // This pointer }AppliFrame_t;DataBuff of two instances of AppliFrame_t, xTxFrame, xRxFrame, were operated on without initialization. for (xIndex = 5; xIndex < cRxlen; xIndex++) { xRxFrame.DataBuff[xIndex] = pRxBuff[xIndex]; }for(; xIndex < xTxFrame->DataLen; xIndex++) { TxFrameBuff[xIndex+5] = xTxFrame->DataBuff[xIndex]; }As a result, the example basically doesn't work. System will just crash upon running. Tested on several NUCLEO boards, F411RE, F070RB, but judging from source code, other nucleo boards will be affected as well, including L152 and L052 boards which are supposedly fully tested.Given S2-LP radios are basically brand new, we spent hours and hours making sure we followed the instruction correctly to no avail before we started to check the

I was hired to program the STM32MP151 dual core processor. I loaded the STMCoreIDE because that was what was recommended. Not being familiar with the Arm M4 I decided to buy a Nucleo to learn how the ST Peripherals worked in what I hoped would be a simpler environment. But the UM1727 does not list the STM32CubeIDE as one of the supported IDEs. Where do I find instructions and code to test? I am running Linux Mint 20.1.

There are two ways of BLDC motor solution. The one of solutions is EVSPIN32F0601S3 and the other is EVSPIN32F0601S1. I want to drive BLDC motor with sensor less. Which solution is match the goal? The motor specification is 100V D.C. 1A 100W.

I'm using the STM32G431 MCU to run a BLDC motor with the middleware FOC code. I'd like to be able to report the bus voltage in the system but haven't been able to find the way to access the code. I found a procedure declared in bus_voltage_sensor.c, __weak uint16_t VBS_GetAvBusVoltage_V( BusVoltageSensor_Handle_t * pHandle ) but the input is the pointer BusVoltageSensor_Handle_t*pHandle. I'm guessing this is a pointer to a structure for my motor but I don't know where it is defined. Is using the procedure VBS_GetAvBusVoltage_V the correct approach or is there a different method to use, something closer to the UI interface? Thanks,Brian

Hi, I read a press release that STM32Cube IDE had added thread debug functionality. I have a project that uses FreeRTOS 10.0.1 with trace facility enabled. I am hoping to leverage the FreeRTOS debug tool to aid in my development but at this moment I am not sure how to enable it within the debugger view. I am using STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.5.1. My project is not based on CubeMX directly but I could generate new files if needed. Thanks!

STM32CubeMX (STM32Cube_FW_F0_V1.11.2) allows option for One Pulse Mode for TIM14. Does TIM14 actually support OPM on STM32F031G6U? In Reference Manual (RM0091 rev 9), TIM14_CR1 does not have bit 3 OPM. Is mistake in Reference Manual or in STM32CubeMX?

Hello, this is not the first time i set touchgfx in a custom board (with STM32F767 MCU). I always followed the method described in the touchfgx documentation, which can be summarized in this video guide. Now i'm trying to get it to work with STM32H743 MCU. I tested first the framebuffer in the internal and external ram respectively, following the official documentation. Once working, i enabled touchgfx 4.16 (i'm using CUBEIDE 1.5.1), i enabled CRC and FreeRTOS v2 and i inserted MX_TouchGFX_Process() inside the GUI Task. When i debug it returns HardFault, but if i remove the MX_TouchGFX_Process() function it debugs without problems, but obviously nothing happens.I tried to use __HAL_RCC_CRC_CLK_ENABLE(); before initializing Touchgfx, but nothing.I also noticed that the "Generate Under Root" checkbox is checked and i can't uncheck it, while the official documentation says to uncheck it.Cane someone help me?Thank you.

Hi,In debug mode, is there a way to reload the MCU flash but not the external flash connected to the QSPI?It takes a while for CubeIDE to reprogram the external flash.I do not modify the external flash data between debug sessions, so it would save me a lot of time if it was not erased then reprogrammed every time.I could not find an option to avoid the external flash reload.Thanks.
