Hello erveryone,I have a question regarding the X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1. I want to use the board with NFC Tags Type 5. The board version with the ST25R95 should be able to do that, but it seems like theres only the version with CR95HF available for sale at Mouser etc.. How can I get my hands on the ST25R95 board? And the general description says that X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1 is only able to read up to NFC Tag Type 4 is that also true for the ST25R95 version?Thanks in advance for your answers :)

What happened to the equivalent of I2S_FLAG_CHSIDE as I don't seem to be able to find it.Or do you just count the interrupts and assume it goes Left - Right - Left... forever?ThanksAndy.

I would like to use the RNG of the H743ZI2. The provided example works, but on a new project I can't get it work, The CPU clock is configured to 400MHz just like in the example./* RNG Initialization */   if (HAL_RNG_DeInit(&hrng) != HAL_OK) { /* DeInitialization Error */ Error_Handler(); }   /* Initialize the RNG peripheral */ if (HAL_RNG_Init(&hrng) != HAL_OK) { /* Initialization Error */ Error_Handler(); }uint32_t rnd_number;   void main() { while (1) {   status = HAL_RNG_GenerateRandomNumber(&hrng, &rnd_number); if (status != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } } }

Not sure this is the right section...but I would like to know if it is possible to use the L9177A with an hall effect sensor, in that case, I guess the signal is to be routed to the VRIN+ input, what about the VRIN- input?Must be connected to GND or to a some threshold voltage? whats the level of the signal the L9177A will recognize with hall sensor signal?Thanks a lot.

Hi,I recently need to use I2C with interrupt mode to lower my CPU usage.So I did this changes :I changed the function where I call my transmitstatic HAL_StatusTypeDef PGA309_Write_RawData(uint8_t REGISTER,uint8_t LSB_DATA,uint8_t MSB_DATA) { uint16_t i = 0; I2C1_TxBuffer[i++]= REGISTER; //First data : Set register address I2C1_TxBuffer[i++]= LSB_DATA; //Second data : LSB value I2C1_TxBuffer[i++]= MSB_DATA; //Third data : MSB value //return HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit(&hi2c4, (uint16_t)PGA309_SLAVE_ID, I2C1_TxBuffer, i, (uint32_t)100); return HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit_IT(&hi2c4, (uint16_t)PGA309_SLAVE_ID, I2C1_TxBuffer, i); }I added NVIC stuff to HAL_I2C_MspInit()void HAL_I2C_MspInit(I2C_HandleTypeDef* hi2c) { GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0}; if(hi2c->Instance==I2C4) { /* USER CODE BEGIN I2C4_MspInit 0 */   /* USER CODE END I2C4_MspInit 0 */   __HAL_RCC_GPIOF_CLK_ENABLE(); /**I2C4 GPIO Configuration PF14 ------> I2C4_SCL PF15 ------> I2C4_SDA

A bit confused by STM32L496 DISCOVERY board.Documentation says Arduino compatible connector maps timer functions like following printscreen.But in CubeMX, the pins are very different, as can be seen on the following printscreens.E.g. Discovery board doc says PI6 belongs to TIM5_CH1.In reality, according to CubeMX as well as CPU datasheet it belongs to TIM8_CH2.Can anyone help to clarify?

The H3LIS100DL has no fifo, and the ODR can be set to 400Hz. This would make it update the axes data each 2.5ms. I have programmed it to interrupt a mcu when a threshold is reached. This wakes the micro controller from deep sleep. Unfortunately it takes the Mcu about 8ms before it has woken up and is ready to read back the samples (X,Y,Z) that caused the interrupt.Is there a way to make the accelerometer to keep the data and not overwrite it? I read something about BDU (Block Data Update for LIS3DH); something like that the output data would not be overwritten until all axes had been read out. Is there anything similar that would work for H3LIS100DL? Any other trick?I know there will be lost samples, but I'm mainly interested in reading back the sample that caused the interrupt.

Hi,In CubeMx, Project Manager tab -> Advanced Settings, the "Do Not Generate Function Call" for MX_TouchGFX_Init is not working.After selecting it and generating the code, the MX_TouchGFX_Init() is still present in the main.c and going back to the Advanced Settings, the previously selected check box got deselected.This is a problem because when using the QuadSpi with TouchGFx, it needs to be mapped before TouchGFX initialization.The mapping cannot be made in the MX_QUADSPI_Init because there is no USER CODE section at the end of this function (Hey ST, what about having a user code section at the end of EVERY HAL init function???).Settings:MCU: STM32H743CubeMx: 6.1.1CubeIDE: 1.5.1Firmware Package: FW_H7 1.8.0

STM32CubeMX version 6.1.1 ，when set CAN as 1Mhz,cubeMX prompted error,PCLK1 is 36Mhz.

Hi all, I am a new STM32 user migrating from Atmel/Microchip's SAMD line. I created my first project following along the tutorials here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_5rYfAyqq0&t=682s.It's a motor driver, with some other hardware shown outside of the screenshot below, but at the moment I am just trying to get statusLED to blink. I can successfully connect to the board with an STLink, when I press debug and resume, my LED will momentarily flash which I capture on video and scope, shown in the video here.Strangely I don't lose connection to the board or anything, and my program continues to execute, but nothing else happens. As you can see from the code it's supposed to just blink every 500ms. Does anyone have an intuition as to what might be going on?Here's a video showing the momentary flash (The LED is in the bottom right corner of the board and I press the debug/resume buttons off camera) https://photos.app.goo.gl/BfGQbW1SX8EJT5eV8I am using the internal clock for d

I have a STM32G431 MCU board and TIM8 is triggered by an external input pin to perform a counter capture and initiate a DMA transfer for CH1. What I would like to also do on TIM8 is perform a counter capture based on a software trigger to CH3. Is this possible?And yes I have read the Ref Manual ;) But I don't see any discussion of software triggers for the counters.EDIT addition: Worst case I will externally connect a GPIO output to the TIM8_CH3 input and use a dma channel to capture & store the timer count value. In my high priority ISR I will write the GPIO to initiate the capture.Thanks,BT

We have a product that is permanently powered. We'd like to be able to persist some frequently changing data through a reset and firmware upgrade (using the in-built ROM bootloader) by just reserving (and no-init'ing) an area of RAM, however I'm concerned that the ROM bootloader may use areas of SRAM for it's own purposes, thus trashing our saved data. Does this happen? If so, are there any areas it wouldn't touch?The specific micro we're using is the STM32L451.

Debugging the STM32L053, the STM32CubeIDE (v.1.4.2 on MAC) asks to install the ST-link Server.I install the ST-link server (v1.3.0) on my mac, this seems to be successful, but for the STM32CubeIDE, nothing has changed and it keeps asking to install the ST-link server:"ST-Link Server is required to launch the debugsession. Please download it on www.st.com";Since yesterday, I'm not able to debug any longer...What should I change in the settings?This problem is the case whether I choose the ST-LINK (OpenOCD) or (ST-LINK GDB server) in the debugger settings

Figure 2 of the LIS2MDL datasheet shows the following picture of the magnetometer axes orientation. However, it's completely unclear if they are labeling the positive direction of the axes. If they did label the positive directions with the X/Y/Z label, it would have a Left-handed orientation (against all convention).Are the positive axis directions indicated by the axis labels? Is this a left-handed coordinate frame?

I've been working successfully with the STM8 MCUs, using ST-LINK, building, debugging. But I so far can't figure out how to get started building for the STM32L4x6, which hosts the ST25R3911-DISCO board.  Can't even pin down an IDE yet.

Hi guys,i have the following problem. I configure the interrupts as follow.INTC.BCR.R = 0; INTC.IACKR[0].R = (uint32_t)&VectorTable[0]; INTC.CPR[0].B.PRI = 0;   // enable interrupts __asm__ volatile ("wrteei 1" : : : "memory");After that, i configure one Etimer Channel with timer compare interrupt. The interrupt flag will set in etimer module, but the ISR will never be called.If i change my configuration to the following, the interrupts will come:INTC.BCR.R = 0; INTC.IACKR[0].R = (uint32_t)&VectorTable[0];   (void)INTC.IACKR[0].R; // read back   INTC.CPR[0].B.PRI = 0; // enable interrupts __asm__ volatile ("wrteei 1" : : : "memory");I would be happy if someone could explain what I'm doing wrong, because I can't find anything about it in the reference manual.best regardsdavid

The sleep mode option in SPC560P-DISP Discovery (SPC560 P Line) is removed as per reference document. I have attached the revision history screenshot of reference document.My question isis SPC560P-DISP Discovery board have sleep mode option or not?please see the image for reference

I need to read the NFCTag ID but I haven't worked out how as yet. Can anyone point me at an example?David

Hi, stThe MCU platform I use is nrf52840. The sensor uses steval-mki207v1. The hardware connection method is mode 1. The SPI mode of MCU is mode0, the frequency is 8MHz, and the bit order is MSB first. On this premise, no matter how many times I read the chip ID, the value is 0.What is the problem?

How should a UART interface be designed so that a robust communication possible can be established between two MCUs. The following table is shown in a data sheet from Texas Instruments. You can see the error rate depending on the baud rate. According to my research a low baud rate below 57600 bit/s and 16x oversampling is suitable for a communication over a longer distance. 1) Are the error rates manufacturer dependent?I can't find any application notes from ST for implementing a reliable UART.2) Are there any recommendations on which communication protocols should be used? (Something like TCP/IP over UART).Thanks in advance
