Hi,for my app I would like to implement a feature to swipe to change a screen. That would probably contain a combination of GestureEvent, a handler, callback and a listener. However, in 3 hours of reading TouchGFX docs, searching through the forum and browsing through TouchGFX framework source code I was not able to come up with anything. I simply did not know where to start. So I would like to ask you to add a description to documentation how to use handlers, event listeners and other structures that are available in TouchGFX framework. I see that STM invested a lot of time and resources into TouchGFX which is great. Sadly, it has become a very large project and thus very complex and I believe that the relatively poor documentations limits a lot of users. You should also definetely add some more tutorials.

Hi, Is nucleo board available for STM32F373 device? If not then any nucleo board can replace device with STM32F373?Nandish

Posted on May 07, 2018 at 04:00I have been importing CubeMX projects into System Workbench (SW4STM32). It's been working great, a real time saver. I first open System Workbench and select a workspace. Then using CubeMX I configure the project and generate the code. Then when the code generation is done and the dialog window opens, I press the Open Project button. In the past this has nicely imported my CubeMX code into SW. It no longer works. Now after I press the Open Project button, I get a new dialog box with the following error message:Unrecognized option: -d64Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit. What has gone wrong?Clark#stm32cubemx-eclipse-sw4stm32

Hello,I'm developing custom NFC modul with CR95HF and I'm having difficulties with reading ISO 14443-B card. So far I've built a hardware prototype and written a simple python class and script for controlling CR95HF protocol. HiI am working on a project using LL libraries and STM32F407VET6 Board. (I have attached the main.c code here.) The code generated by the STMCube GUI configuration tool is causing issues with two GPIOA pins (Pin 6 and 7) stuck to HIGH whenever the code runs. (When I press reset, they are OFF but as soon as program runs, they turn on again)I removed user-specific code as much as possible still the issue persists. Also tried to pull them low using LL_GPIO_ResetOutputPin(GPIOA,L_GPIO_PIN_6|LL_GPIO_PIN_7); but no effectThese two pins are connected to two on-board user LEDs which keep glowing. Below is the GPIO function generated by STMcube.static void MX_GPIO_Init(void) { LL_GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0};   /* GPIO Ports Clock Enable */ LL_AHB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB1_GRP1_PERIPH_GPIOE); LL_AHB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB1_GRP1_PERIPH_GPIOC); LL_AHB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB1_GRP1_PERIPH_GPIOH); LL_AHB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB1_GRP1_PERIPH_GPIOA); LL_AHB1_GRP1_EnableClock

Hello STM32 MCU Community,I was looking for clarification on the HAL_TIM_Encoder_Start_DMA function as I want to do a DMA transfer of an encoder's count register to a buffer. From the STM32G474 reference manual, I thought I would need to use another timer to trigger a DMA but was curious when I saw the HAL_TIM_Encoder_Start_DMA command. I've looked at the the description of this command and I'm confused about what parameter pData1 and pData2 represent. The descriptions are "the destination Buffer address for IC1" and I2C for pData2. Looking through the reference manual I believe these are the configurations for channel 1 and channel 2 but I wasn't completed sure. Below is some background of what I am trying to accomplish. Background:I am doing a prototype for an HMI project and have a Nucleo-G474, Display Module, and encoder. I have gotten the Nucleo to interface to the Display Module and am able to write to the display and see the effect. I also have been able to connect to an encoder

Hello everyone,I am facing an issue during migration from HAL libraries to LL. I need to increase performance of my code and better understand STM peripherals. My MCU is STM32F746 on a custom board.CubeMX configuration for SPI1 is the same for HAL && LL version. There was a DMA stream for SPI which I used later on to talk to ADC, I tried to leave it and remove it for LL version but had no affect on solving the issue. The code is as follows, an initialization generated from CubeMX and part of my code:/** * @brief SPI1 Initialization Function * @param None * @retval None */ static void MX_SPI1_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN SPI1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END SPI1_Init 0 */   LL_SPI_InitTypeDef SPI_InitStruct = {0};   LL_GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0};   /* Peripheral clock enable */ LL_APB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB2_GRP1_PERIPH_SPI1);   LL_AHB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB1_GRP1_PERIPH_GPIOA); LL_AHB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB1_GRP1_PERIP

Hi,I met a strange issue and wish to get help.I wish to connect PC by UART. I try to use DMA but failed. The following is my test code for DMA.main () { initialization code from CubeMX HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA(&UART_Handle_Console, (uint8_t*)(listbuffer), len);  while ( HAL_UART_GetState(&UART_Handle_Console) != HAL_UART_STATE_READY); HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA(&UART_Handle_Console, (uint8_t*)(listbuffer), len); while ( HAL_UART_GetState(&UART_Handle_Console) != HAL_UART_STATE_READY); vTaskStartScheduler();}If comment out vTaskStartScheduler, everything is OK.If leave vTaskStartScheduler, the first DMA statement can run but PC got nothing. The second DMA statement cannot run because HAL_UART_GetState(&UART_Handle_Console) is always busy TX.The above is my test code . My purpose is to use binary semaphore to control UART DMA connected to PC.Thanks,

Which document to refer to find formula for calculating IWDG timeout for STM32F0 series(STM32F0C038 to be more specific)? I have found formulae for other parts which operates on 32kHz LSI and some maximum ratings are also given in the datasheet. Is it possible to apply the same formula here(shown below)?tIWG = tLSI * 4 * 2^PR * (RL + 1)

Hello all! My name is Matt and I am a university student studying EE. For school, I recently designed a board with an STM32405RG MCU and BMI088 IMU. Part of the project is gathering data from the gyroscope and processing it every time step. My original plan was to use the gyroscope in polling mode as fast as possible, and then use a timer interrupt to send out important data over serial at ~50 Hz. Before implementing this timer interrupt, the code worked perfectly fine and everything seemed ok. However, as soon as I enable the timer interrupt, my code only runs for a few milliseconds before something calls the Error_Handler(). I am unsure why this is happening. My intuition tells me that the interrupt may be interfering with stuff that HAL is doing to talk to the I2C peripheral. If I want to send out data periodically over serial, does this mean that I also must use the gyroscope in interrupt mode, instead of polling mode? Would I need to set interrupt priorities in some specific if I

Hi I am developing the project with STM32F746 (STMCUBE IDE)sending the data to the server . want to use WEBSOCKET protocol to do this Is there any Library with example for WEBSOCKET with LWIP in STM32

HI, I am using Macro to set and clear my pin using stm32f103. This is the macro i defined#define SET(PIN,N) (PIN |= (1<<N))#define CLR(PIN,N) (PIN &= ~(1<<N))where ,PIN is the value whose bit to set or/and clearN is the bit number to set or/and cleari have done the code like,if(Drive _Enabled==1){ Status _Register[2] = SET(1,0);}//Status _Register[2] = CLR(1,0); if(drive_ motion _complete==1)  //to read whether motion is complete or not    {     Status _Register[2] = SET(1,1);    }but i am getting error can anyone help me how to solve this error and what i need to add to my code please.i have attached the picture showing the error below.

Hello!I am writing a program and am still on the code generation phase. I am having a weird issue where the code runs, but gets stuck in the initialization phase for the SDIO (MX_SDIO_SD_Init). If the SDIO is commented out, the program gets stuck in the ADC1 init (MX_ADC1_Init), and so on. Oddly, when stepping through the functions, the actual function isn't called, it just stays stuck at the call function (as in it will stay on line 30 for the MX_SDIO_SD_Init, and not jump to another function to begin the init process). What am I doing wrong?Thank y'all in advance.int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */   /* USER CODE END 1 */   /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/   /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init();   /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */   /* USER CODE END Init */   /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config();   /* USER CODE BEGIN SysInit

Hi,I am using STM32G474 Nucleo board and try to use TIM1_CC_IRQHandler. I am using TIM1_UP_TIM16_IRQHandler to check certain conditions and then I'll enable the CC1IE bit in TIM1->DIER register.I configured TIM1 as Center-aligned PWM mode. However, I noticed that right after enabling this bit, CC1IF will already be set in TIM1->SR register and thus NVIC of TIM1_CC_IRQHandler is already in Pending state. So I have sporadic interrupt trigger my TIM1_CC_IRQHandler when Capture/Compare did not actually happen. How can I prevent this from happening and why I have this CC1IF flag set immediately after I enable CC1IE?Update:So I tried to clear the CC1IF flag "before" I enable CC1IE, (although that the flag did NOT show to be set in the debugger) and this sporadic interrupt did not happen. However, I did not see interrupt generated when the very next Capture/Compare happens, instead seeing the interrupt happens at the second next Capture/Compare. How can we explain this phenomenon. Also, d

Hi--I/m pretty stumped. I am trying to implement a odd parity configuration for USART1 in an stm32L452RE micro. I've confirmed without parity the usart behaves as expected at the needed baud. When i introduce parity into the code and sniff the data out of a logic analyzer, the data is error filled. I am probably doing something stupid, but wondering if someone sees something in my function to initialize the USART1 i am missing...If it is not the init function, is the transmit using parity different than typical usart? Could I be getting caught there?Thank you!

Hello,I want to use sbsfu for STM32L562 controller with STM32Cube IDE version 1.5.AS per primary research i am using below package and project .I am using STM32SecuWS package.Under that project I am using is STM32SecuWS\TFM\STM32Cube_FW_L5_V1.3.0\Projects\NUCLEO-L552ZE-Q\Applications\SBSFU.I have gone through the document.overview-of-secure-boot-and-secure-firmware-update-solution-on-arm-trustzone-stm32l5-series-microcontrollers-stmicroelectronics.pdfAnd I want to use STM32CubeL5 SBSFU on page 10.non secure image primary slot(single slot 1 image).1) For single slot do i required SBSFU_Loader project?2) I only want to upload non secure image(my user application) do i need to run SBSFU\SBSFU_Appli\Secure project? 3) Postbuild.bat process remains same as x cube sbsfu right?4) project example is with L552ZE , i have to use STM32L562 what configuration or settings i need to change in cubeIDE?5) Example project already using mbedTLS library right?6) getting-started-with-stm32cubel5-tfm-appli

HiI'm using the HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA to write to an external Flash. On a delte command for the external flash I need to wait for until the busy flag of the flash is zero. So I use this function to check the busy flag. spi_read(&command, sizeof (command), &SPI_RX_BUFFER, 2);   if ((SPI_RX_BUFFER[1] & 1) == 0) return true; else return false;void spi_read(const void *txdata, size_t txsize, void *rxdata, size_t rxsize) { HAL_GPIO_WritePin(Flash_NSS_GPIO_Port, Flash_NSS_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET); //reset the TX_RX complete Indication SPI_TXRX_Complete (true, false); SPI_TXRX_Status_Complete (true, false);   HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA (&hspi3, (uint8_t *)txdata, (uint8_t *)rxdata, rxsize); }The problem is, that the RX of the DMA is not ready when I check the busy flag:SPI_RX_BUFFER[1] & 1How can I fix this issue?

I am developing the application of USB Mass storage device using internal flash. I have used the ST CubeMx tool to generate the USB MSD code. I am using the last sector-7 (128KB) of MCU to create the Drive & i have modified the STORAGE_Write_FS() & STORAGE_Read_FS() functions to read and write from internal flash. When i plugged In USB Device to PC, it created the flash drive in PC & the PC ask for formatting the drive first , but it is not able to format.I have attached my code here, please check the code & let me know where i am wrong...

Experimenting with STM32CubeMX. Can't find an entry for the ST25R3911B-DISCO board, (hosted by an STM32L476 that controls a ST25R3911B via SPI). Are hybrids like that not included in the Selector lists? Thx.

Hello ST Community,I am starting to work with the STM32MP157C-EV1 board and working through the example https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Getting_started/STM32MP1_boards/STM32MP157x-EV1/Let%27s_start/Populate_the_target_and_boot_the_image.While flashing with STMCubeProgrammer (v 2.6.0) the "FlashLayout_sdcard_stm32mp157c-ev1-trusted.tsv" to the SD Card (SanDisk 16Gb), I get an error "TSV Flashing servie failed", "Download partition 0x21 failed". On another try, it failed later during partition 0x23.I set the "Binaries path" to "*/Starter-Package/stm32mp1-openstlinux-5-4-dunfell-mp1-20-11-12/images/stm32mp1" in the STM32CubeProgrammer GUI. The OS is ubuntu 18.04 in a VM on Windows 10. The board is powered on, and the USB is connected via USB OTG.I had a look at https://community.st.com/s/question/0D70X0000075Bxi/detail?s1oid=00Db0000000YtG6&t=1611906706916&s1nid=0DB0X000000DYbd&emkind=chatterCommentNotification&s1uid=0050X000007RRzf&emtm=1562243726800&fromEm

Hello everyone, I am trying to read one pin with the HAL libraries, but i can not. This is my configuration:  1) I want to read the "BUTTON" pin ( PB3/PB4/PB5/PB6 ) 2 I am doing this:  GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_INPUT; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_NOPULL; GPIO_InitStruct.Speed = GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_HIGH; GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = GPIO_PIN_5; HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOB, &GPIO_InitStruct);if(HAL_GPIO_ReadPin(GPIOB,GPIO_PIN_5)){THE PROGRAM NEVER ENTERS HERE, NO MATERS THE STATE OF THE PIN }What i am doing wrong??Thanks a lot!

Hi,I've been trying to port the STM32H753 SBSFU project to the STM32H735G-DK.The bootloader fails in SFU_BOOT_Init due to failing SE_Init().This is the result of __IS_SFU_RESERVED() failing it's test: 0x08008A00 < 0x08008061 < 0x0801FFFF (SB_REGION_ROM_START < __get_LR() < SB_REGION_ROM_END).As you can see the LR register value is outside of the expected range.Does anyone have an idea why this could be the case? Thanks!
