Hi AllI have simple question about STM32CubMX.I use the STM32F103RBT and test the i2c with eeprom. When I set the pin for i2c, I should change the GPIO Pull-up/Pull-down in STM32FCubMx.But This menu is not in STM32FCubMX.I don't connect external pull up in hardware, to use internal pull up.Below is my STM32FCubMx GPIO set Menu.I can't use internal pull-up ??Please help me. Thank you.

provided ST tutorial on youtube (Motor Control Part5 )  indicates it support PMSM motors .is provided FOC FW library support BLDC motors also?

Hi,so far we want to compare several MEMS accelerometers and their specifications. From ST, two sensors are on our list, the IIS3DWB and the IIS2DH.For the IIS3DWB, the data sheet offers a frequency response curve at page 19 and regarding aliasing the following information (see IIS3-Block-Diagram-Frequency-Response.PNG):"The IIS3DWB has been specifically designed to provide a wide bandwidth with very flat frequency response in thepass band and a very high attenuation in the stop band so to virtually eliminate any frequency aliasing."1) So for the IIS3DWB their is no "true" analog low pass filter before the ADC in order to prevent aliasing, its simply done by the frequency response of the senor itself right? Because the LPF1 is a digital low pass filter, in theory not capable of preventing aliasing effects.... Or am i on a wrong direction :) ?2) Does the frequency response for the IIS2DH provides a low pass curve progression by the sensor itself too in order to eliminate aliaising, simi

I have been using USB CDC for a while now with the following STM32 parts;- F417, F401, F070, F301 and F373. I use STM32CubeIDE and all my projects are built using the Device Configuration Tool. I have found that USB CDC works first time with F417, F401, and F070 parts, but does not work with F301 and F373 parts. By 'not work' I mean the project build and run okay, but I get no enumeration form my PC. I get zero response. I have spent along time checking signal levels and clocks, etc, but found nothing. So, I've had to give up with the F301 and F373 parts. Could this be an issue with the F3-- library?. I would be very interested if anyone else has experienced this.

The "operating temperature range" is specified as +85 deg. C high limit.Does this really mean the MCU can operate with an ambient temperature of 85 C ? Only the maximum junction temperature is specific in the data sheet.

What I'm doing is to perform anticollision with 1 or 2 NFCA tags present. When performing anticollision with just one tag, the function does never report an error and allways find 1 tag correctly. When performing anticollisiion with two tags:There are combinations of two NFCA tags that allways work perfectly (ERR_NONE) and found all the tags. There are combinations of two NFCA tags that allways fails. When a combination allways fails:If I have optimize for size (-Os) error is allways ERR_FRAMING (in the same place as PDe), and if I call anticollision function again, it just found 1 tag (but there are two!).If I have optimize most (-O3) error is allways ERR_INCOMPLETE_BYTE, if I call anticollision function again, error is ERR_TIMEOUT, if I call it again, ERR_INCOMPLETE_BYTE, ...All tags works fine, when just one is present.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Ulysses HERNIOSUSOpen Ulysses HERNIOSUS

Is it possible to turn textareas upsidedown without having to use texturemapper?

Hello STM-Community,I'm fairly new to STM programming and I use an STM32 microcontroller with STM32CubeMX encountered a weird issue with my functions.I've got an IRQ, which collects data every interrupt. Similair like this:void HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback(uint16_t GPIO_Pin)   {   if (GPIO_Pin == INT_EXT_Pin)   {   ACCMETER_IRQ(accdata);   data_counter++;   }   }In the main function I want to see if enough data have been collected for an FFT.Similair like this in my while loop:while(1)   {   if (data_counter > 4096)   {   FFT_ACCMETER(accdata);   data_counter = 0;   }   }   while performing the FFT, the IRQ still collects data for a buffer function, therefore no data should be lost in between each FFT.Here's the issue, after gathering enough data, data_couner is set to 4096 (or higher), but never actually goes into the if condition. I've tried out many different things such as accessing the variable to d

I have been using the L6235 for more than 10 yease with no problems. Great part!!!Powered from an AC to DC suppply with 24, +5 and -5 output. The motor of course runs off of the 24V. We have recently changed to a single 24V output AC to DC and the +/-5V is generated from the 24V. When the AC power is removed the motor freewheels and generates voltage back into the system and continues to supply +/-5V until the motor comes to a stop. What can be done to keep the motor from powering the system once AC is removed?

Hello,I'm working with a STM32F446 and I configured the SPI as slave. In my process I receive x bytes of data in interruption. But during the process, this size of data changes to y. But the function HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_IT(x) has already been called with the value x.I tried resetting the SPI interface to be able to receive those y bytes (HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_IT(y)). But it is not working, I still receive the data with a shift, due to the previous size. What is the proper way to fix this? Thanks in advance

Hi, I'm working with a STM32F446ZET6. In this case, I configured my SPI as slave, and I use the HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive function. The problem is that when the slave shoud respond with the value 0x11, I receive 0x22 on the master side.I have checked the send value with a logic analizer and it shows that the slave is sending 0x22 (not 0x11). But this only happens when the programm starts from power on.When I reset manually (NRST button on STM) the board I don't have this problem. It only happends from power on. I have no idea of what the issue is.Thanks in advance for the help.

I have a brand new P-NUCLEO-IHM002 out of box. I configured it according to the instruction. however, when power up, D11 on IHM07M1 is not light at all. when i push the blue button, no response. LD3 on Nucleo-F302R8 is on, LD1 is flashing. Can you help me to debug?Thank you.Shengnan

Hi there, I am new to the embedded system and now am using M24M01. When I am trying page write with I2C protocol on the EEPROM, I found a weird problem with my oscilloscope. I sent out the command, the waveform is like fig.1, it forms of slave address + register address + data + UNKNOWN(not sure what it is?). In the M24M01 datasheet, I found there is a description that said "A Stop condition at the end of a Write instruction triggers the internal Write cycle." and the maximum of the internal write cycle is about 5ms. So, I added a delay time(5ms) and this UNKNOWN waveform has gone like fig.2! Is this a coincidence? If yes, why should I add this 5ms? It would be very appreciated if you could help me. Sorry for asking this stupid question : (

Hi,I am developing some code for a display interface on a NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q, I debug some basic code and the STM32 seem to have crashed. Now I can not connect anymore to it, not even with the CubeProgrammer V2.5.Is there a way to recover the Nucleo board from this?

Hello,As TouchGFX does not support STM32H745, I tried the demo program for STM32H750 on this board. It works properly when it is programmed and also after reset (soft reset with button or software). But when I disconnect the power from st-link USB port and connect it again, it does not work and also st-link does not recognize the MCU. The connection problem can be solved by setting the boot0 pin as high, and it is not a problem. For the program, I believe the problem is related to the bootloader script. I tried to write my own boot loader, but It does not work as well. It cannot jump to the program in the external flash memory. What I tried is:initializing FMC (external SDRAM)initializing qspi and external flash memory and putting it on the memory-mapped modeinitializing LTDC and loading a test image on it for 3 seconds (just for test)disabling cache and sysTick intrruptsetting MSP (QSPI address 0x90000000)jumpting to the application address (QSPI address + 4)after uploading the complet

I have made a custom board using STPIN32F0. When I have placed all the components on board and Powering UP using 24V supply, the 12V Regulated Voltage is not produced.Any specific reason?Does it remain in standby Mode? What is the minimum requirement for producing 12V at Vreg Pin?I have referred to Datasheet, and Reference design for STSPIN32F0. But I could not find any solution.I have tried in approximately 5 boards and all have the same issue. Please help me solve the problem soon.Thank you

Can anyone provide version 4.20.1 of CubeMX ? ( Yes, it's me again, maintaining and developing an old project... )My STM32 model is : "stm32f103cb"Using AtollicTrueStudio version 9.1 and 9.3.Do you know if it is possible to install two different versions of CubeMX, on the same computer, and use only one version at a time ?I am currently using the latest (6.1.1 on Windows 10) , and I see strange warnings, when I open the .IOC file.So I was looking for the old version that was used.Thank you in advance.

Hi,I'm trying to configure my STUSB4500 by following the STSW-STUSB002 quick start guide.I have everything ready except for the NUCLEO-F072RB board.Instead, I have Nucleo-H743ZI2 and the STM32F769 Discovery board, but I'm pretty sure I can't just drag and drop the F072RB board binary to my boards. Is there a way to tweak the binary or create a new binary to work on Nucleo-H743ZI2 or the STM32F769 Discovery board?I can buy the Nucleo-F072RB for $15, but if I could use my current boards, it will be great.Thank You

We purchased late in 2020 an STEVAL-STWINKT1.Just learnt that this board has been deprecated and the  STEVAL-STWIN KT1B is instead the recommended reference designCould you please let us know:if we have to stop using the STEVAL-STWINKT1if get it replaced by the STEVAL-STWINKT1BBRDS

Hi, I want to drive an ISM330DHCX by an FPGA using SPI. Due to the fast operation and the exact timing I can realise this way, a few questions occured.Data sheet fig. 6 details the SPI timing. There is no value given for minimum time for CS=HIGH, i.e. the minimum time between two consecutive bus cycles. Am I right with e.g. 50 ns minimum CS=HIGH?Which time is necessary to internally settle written register values, i.e. which time I have to wait before i) I can read written values back and ii) written values are internally valid (e.g. ODR or full-scale selection)?A more general question: What is the meaning of CTRL9_XL bit 1 "DEVICE_CONF"? In the data sheet is written "It is recommended to always set this bit to 1 during device configuration.", but in STM's demo applications (STMems_Standard_C_drivers/ism330dhcx_STdC/example/) this register is not used at all.

I have two Nucleo WL55JC and a Stm32f4 discovery board. Can i build a Lorawan gateaway with these products?

Hello,I have a use case to start user boot loader from 0x08020000 instead of 0x08000000 and 0th sector at 0x08000000 will be used to store read protected user data because of the sector size.As per guidance from @Community member , i have made changes in linker file and in systeminit function. the change details are given below.Linker changes which i made.define symbol __ICFEDIT_intvec_start__ = 0x08020000;define symbol __ICFEDIT_region_ROM_start__    = 0x08020000;define symbol __ICFEDIT_region_ROM_end__      = 0x0803FFFF;and in systeminit SCB->VTOR changed as below.SCB->VTOR = 0x08020000;after this change cstartup is calling main function in debug mode and works fine. But in normal operation after reset the program is not running. I think the jump to main function is not happening.I am stuck at this point, what additional change i should do, Could some one help me on this.RegardsAnanD

Hello all,I want to modify the p2p-Service for sending 20 bytes payload instead of only 2 bytes by default. The only one I did, is changing the notification-characteristic in the file "p2p_stm.c" like this: COPY_P2P_NOTIFY_UUID(uuid16.Char_UUID_128); aci_gatt_add_char(aPeerToPeerContext.PeerToPeerSvcHdle, UUID_TYPE_128, &uuid16, 20, CHAR_PROP_NOTIFY, ATTR_PERMISSION_NONE, GATT_NOTIFY_ATTRIBUTE_WRITE, /* gattEvtMask */ 10, /* encryKeySize */ 1, /* isVariable: 1 */ &(aPeerToPeerContext.P2PNotifyServerToClientCharHdle)); There, I have only changed the payload in line 4 from 2 to 20. Are there any further modifications in the code in any file neccessary, for doing what I want? This is my typedef struct in "p2p_server_app.c": typedef struct{ uint8_t Device_Led_Selection; uint8_t Led1; }P2P_LedCharValue_t;   typedef struct{ uint8_t Device_Selection; uint8_t Button_State;   uint8_t Value_X_Axis_H; uint8_t Value_X_Axis_L; uint8_t Value_Y_Axis_H; uint8_t
