Hello,I'm using CubeMX with X-CUBE-BLE2 3.1.0 Software Package to generate the SampleApplicationI am generating for my L073RZ-NucleoBoard.The code generated work, but each time I generate, I have to make modification in the generated file Drivers/BSP/STM32L0xx_nucleo.cSo I would like to make the modification in the original file, but I could not find it:STM32Cube_FW_L0_V1.12.0/Drivers/BSP/STM32L0XXNucleo is not the same fileIn X-CUBE-BLE2\3.1.0\Drivers\BSP there is only a L4XX fileSame in X-CUBE-BLE2\3.1.0\Projects\STM32L476RG-Nucleo\Applications\SampleApp\SrcSo, either I am missing the correct location, or maybe MX is using a template, but where is it to modify it to generate the file with my modificationThank you for your help

Assembly of the device is extremely tricky since the terminals are all hidden from view and one can never be sure of the correct alignment. Also the terminal 1 is marked only through a notch on the terminal 1 and the dot on the top surface isnt visible.

Hello everyone,I am trying to setup the clock of my STM32G070KB using a 8MHz external quartz. I tried 2 different ways, one from CUBEIDE, the other from libopencm3. I didn't succeed to make my application work yet. CUBEIDE : I see a warning near the RCC tab in the mx configuration but i can't figure out what is wrong. Here is attached what i see and also the config clock tab. Do you see something wrong ? It seems the HAL code is waiting the HSE to be ready and timeout but i am not sure of it. Also i don't see the MCU is sending pulse to the quartz.libopencm3 : Just use the structure attached and the rcc_clock_setup function (for those that used it). I just want to say that i didn't have any trouble with other MCUs.Thanks for your answer,Best Regards,Thomas

Hiii All,I am new in CMSIS2 RTOS Development .I used STM32F072RB UC. In that I am using CMSIS2 RTOS . I have created two processes, One is for reading the key pressed detection and second is for handling leds according to key pressed and released. How to sent key pressed and released data from one process to another process. my Process one is,void StartDefaultTask(void *argument){ /* Infinite loop */ for(;;) {  for(uint8_t i=0;i<0x0F;i++);     if(0== HAL_GPIO_ReadPin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_0))     {   // Want to sent data to another process     }  } /* USER CODE END 5 */}My second process is ,void StartTask02(void *argument){ /* USER CODE BEGIN StartTask02 */ /* Infinite loop */ for(;;) {// If data received from process one then want to toggle the led HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_9);   osDelay(100); } /* USER CODE END StartTask02 */}Y

I am developing a custom bootloader for OTA purposes. I successfully did this under one assumption, that the .bin file is divisible by 4. which means since it is 32 bit even the last part will be inside one full memory cell. Is it correct?

I have just installed SPC5Studio 6.0 and I have opened GTM DPLL Test Application. I am getting the "Unresolved inclusion" error for#include "components.h"#include <build/mcs/mcs0.h>How do I resolve this? I don't seem to have any folders like the ones given for previous versions.

Hello all, I have a problem when I try to use VL53L0X GUI application: it doesn't recognize the NUCLEO-L476RG board. First, I install STSW-LINK007 and STSW-LINK009 as manual says.Then I connect X-NUCLEO-53L0A1 + NUCLEO-L476RG to my USB port, start the application and get the next error: Why is this happening? Does VL53L0X GUI only works with NUCLEO-F401RE but not with NUCLEO-L476RG?Note: I know my NUCLEO-L476RG and my X-NUCLEO-53L0A1 aren't damaged because I can download the VL53L0X examples and they work well: Thanks in advance.Regards.

So MX assigns the following pins for FSMCNWE -> PC2NOE -> PC5NE1 -> PD7RST -> PD11FMC addr A18 - PD13D0 -> PB14D1 -> PD15D2 -> PC11 (Assigned to micro sd card)D3 -> PC12 (Assigned of micro sd card)D4 -> PA2D5 -> PA3D6 -> PA4D7 -> PA5 Can you help with how I get access to PC11 and PC12?Thank you!

So I have some tiny stepper motors I've been working with. Very small 8mm tall x 7mm diameter and coil resistance is 40 ohm. We're designing some tiny digitally controlled dial gages around these and wanted to direct drive the needles instead of tiny gear trains. Tested with common stepper driver (non-st part) in 1/32 and was fine - too high current, too high voltage, but worked fine. I figured the STSPIN220 with it's 1/256 microsteps would provide the boost in accuracy and be designed for low voltage battery operation. However in 1/256 mode or any of the higher res (1/128 or 1/64th) it's operation is smooth then jumps, smooth then jumps. It's like it's cogging. So after hours I pulled out a NEMA17... and immediately perfect in 1/256. So I probe the coil and the voltage looks pwm'd sine-wave with the nema 17 but on the tiny motor it's sine-wave like for maybe 1/10th the time and full on. Is there some way to get the STSPIN220 to work with these small motors? Or is this something this d

I am working on the STM32MP157A. Setting PLL in the STM32CubeIDE does not work as expected. 24 MHz HSE DIVM4 = /5 DIVN4 = X84 DIVQ4 = /5 should = 80,460,000 . The MX program says 80,960,039. I do not understand. If the MX program is right, then what is the equation? I am trying to find the right combination to exactly get 460800 baud to work. The numbers I used should have worked.

Having problem on driving a motor with L6470 at speed range around 120 - 300pps where motor vibrates and making buzzing noise ,especially louder at 150 step/s, or mounting on a panel where the whole mechanical piece parts is vibrating together.Already followed the parameter optimization step stated in the application notes AN4144, which is target to optimize the compensation curve so that the current output is stable across the application speed range. However the vibration still happened and the measured current wave showing distortion.I suspect the vibration is due to the resonance frequency of the motor but I already drive it with 128 micro step... Lowering the current and operate beyond the motor's resonance frequency range is not possible to be the solution for my application.Not sure if anyone facing the same problem and could give me any guidance on this? Perhaps someone who experienced on motor can help me to confirm that the root cause is due to resonance frequency of the moto

A new version 2.7.0 is released.New features :802.15.4 RF sniffer : it is now possible to use a STM32WB Nucleo boards to spy the 802.15.4 packets and display the traces in Wireshark. Hello,when generating code from CubeMX for STM32H733ZGTx setting PB13 as OCTOSPIM_P1_IO2, the following code is output:GPIO_InitStruct.Alternate = GPIO_AF4_OCTOSPIM;This won't compile as the correct definition is GPIO_AF4_OCTOSPIM_P1CubeMX v. 6.1.1FW_H7 v. 1.8.0Best regards,Alessandro

Hello,I´m working on a Project with a STM32F373CCT. I need to compensate the signal read from the SDADC Signal with the internal ADC Temprature sensor.The Problem is that I only get the Value 0xFFF from the internal Temprature Sensor and also the Reference Voltage Channel.I already checked the ADC configuration Bit ADC_CR2_TSVREFE. It is set and it is set before the ADC is turned on.I also checked the VDDA and VSSA Pins with a DVM. They are connected to the GND, 3.3V VCC accordingly.Also the ADC is running at 10MHz and a sampling Time of 239.5 cycles should be far greater than the needed 17.1µs sampling Time for the Internal Temperature sensor.Some more Information to the Project:I am using the SDADC with the internal 1,8V reference, but this reference should be seperated from the normal ADC Voltage.I am using the current STMCubeIDE 1.5.0 with STM32Cube MCU Package for STM32F3 in Version 1.11.2My simple Testcode:int main(void) {   /* MCU Configuration-----------------------------

Hi, I tried the LocalNetwork demonstration in which one NUCLEO board acts as a concentrator and other NUCLEO boards act as sensor unit. Its available in STM32Cube_FW_WL_V1.0.0/Projects/NUCLEO-WL55JC/Demonstrations/LocalNetworkI loaded and ran one NUCLEO board with LocalNetwork_Concentrator and one NUCLEO board with LocalNetwork_Sensor code. But my sensor NUCLEO board is not able to receive the beacon sent by the concentrator. I am not sure why this is happening. I have also attached the terminal image. Can you please guide why is the sensor not receiving the beacon?

The 1 bit PDM data output should be converted to a 16 bit PCM data format using this and what peripherals should be used in STM32cubeMX and the obtained PCM should be converted into .wav file and display it on UART/USARTWhat is the process could anyone please elaborate? please help Thanks in advance.

How to connect UART for bootloader and upload new file to chip in Linux.If anyone knows please help me out.

Hello Forum,recently I bought me a new ST-Link/V2 to program and debug a STM32L4. I tried to connect the programmer with the MCU, but it didn't work. Now I tried it with a different programmer and I could establish a connection to the STM32L4. After that I tried to connect the new programmer with a STM32G0 and this also works.Version of new programmer: ST-Link/V2 A2020 03Version of old programmer: ST-Link/V2 B2017 15Both programmers have the same Firmware Version.Could anyone please tell me where the error is?Kind regardsEric

Can someone tell where I can find an ioc file for BLE_MeshLightingPRFNode application ? I am using STM32WB55RG and SDK version is 1.8.0. I see that ioc file is available for every example and BLE application but not for the above application. What is the reason for not providing the file ? How can I create it for BLE mesh ?

Hi, I learned that when we flash a binary file to flash, we add the vector table with it. I want to know what is actually is a vector table. I am actually working on uploading a .bin file to flash using IAP. verify it and jump to it. let's say while generating the .bin file using CUBE I state the start address is at 08005000. So if I flashed it using ISP it goes to the exact location. If a binary file doesn't contain any information header how the programmer knows where to flash it? when I receive such a file through OTA how can I know the file size, starting address, and so on?if the file was generated to work on 08005000 what if I flash somewhere else and jump to that location?Thank you
