The tool is working (somehow) with a VL6180 soldered to the "Bottom" connector. I want to have a measurement every 2.5s, so I select Device "Bottom, tick "Continual" and enter "2500" for "Inter-Meas Period(ms). When I start the Ranging, the "Inter-Meas Period(ms) is immediately reset to 50 or 500. It drives me nuts. What am I doing wrong?

Hey, For a project I am using multiple Vl53L1X sensors from ST and the driver I used is https://github.com/rneurink/VL53L1X_ULD/tree/94b88bc06ef44950ec3a5fd50b2f0287c23c5ad7It worked perfectly and am not having any issues. But am planning to use multiple VL53L1X sensor from Pololu. Can you tell me some of the difference between them (i.e.) Should I add external resistors for the Xshut pin and If I can use the same driver for both the sensorsThank you so much

Hi,I read License Agreement for STSW-IMG005(VL53L0X API) and I have question about license because I don't find information important for me.I start develop open source project and I would like public complete source code of my project. Can I public ST c and h file included in VL53L0X API on github?

I see there are sequencing functions, but have found no examples or documentation on how to use them. I need to be able to RX an address, then a pointer, and then either read or write data on a restart, multiple bytes, then a stop.By sequencing functions, I am referring to: HAL_I2C_Slave_Seq_Receive_DMA() and HAL_I2C_Slave_Seq_Transmit_DMA().Does anyone have any examples or flowchart for how to use the DMA functions to receive and transmit from a slave's perspective?Thank you!Jeff

Anyone has experience with this, does ST have anything that works beyond 105ºC?I saw cheap non Flash based 8bit mcus (Z86C04/C08) that go up to 125º-150ºAlso (TK68HC811E2) up to 175ºCI also found an article recommending chips worth 800€/piece555 chips for 1150€/ 5 pieces...I want to build an enclosed small ball with an mcu inside to measure the temperature inside cooking pots and ovens. (and somehow wirelessly Tx temperature info back)

I am running Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Version 2021-06. I am using multiple stm32mp157x-DK2, When they are running kernel  5.4.x I have no problems connecting to them form Eclipse IDE via ssh, if I update them to 5.10.10, suddenly I get "Algorithm negotiation fail". If I revert the kernel back to 5.4.x, everything works fine again. If i just try to ssh from linux host terminal i have no issues, but the Eclipse IDE seems to have this problem occurring with new 5.10.10 ST kernel. Has anybody have encountered similar problem? Any ides how to solve it?

STM32G473 svd file (used in STCubeIDE in SFR view) shows FDCAN message RAM as if it was another instance of FDCAN peripheral

Good morning everyone.Any tips, toughts, links to documentation ....describing how to use the SWD protocol as a master? I found this page describing the SWD protocolIs there any stm32 product with master SWD capabilities in their peripheral?STlinks are just a bunch of stm32f103, are they just bitbanging the protocol?I think this would be a very powerfull tool, i could create my own STlink and/or create GUIs with direct memory access simillar to STMCubeMonitor.

I'd like to use the Nucleo example with a different MCU. Is there an built-in tool for this?

Hey guys,Im running into some issues with trying to set the clock speed of my stm32wb55 chip above 32MHz on my custom board. Here is my baremetal startup code that works using MSI as sysclkvoid __attribute__((naked)) Reset_Handler() { __asm__("ldr r0, =_estack\n\t" "mov sp, r0");   // Copy data section from flash memory to ram uint32_t data_section_size = _edata - _sdata; memcpy(_sdata, _sidata, data_section_size*4);   // Zero out bss uint32_t bss_section_size = _ebss - _sbss; memset(_sbss, 0, bss_section_size*4);   // Set Interrupt Vector Table Offset SCB->VTOR = (uint32_t)interrupt_vector_table;   rcc_reset(); RCC->CR &= ~(RCC_CR_MSIRANGE); // RCC_MSI_CLOCK_SPEED_32MHz = 0xa RCC->CR |= RCC_MSI_CLOCK_SPEED_32MHz << RCC_CR_MSIRANGE_Pos; main(); }However if I change line 20 to this:// RCC_MSI_CLOCK_SPEED_48MHz = 0xB RCC->CR |= RCC_MSI_CLOCK_SPEED_48MHz << RCC_CR_MSIRANGE_Pos;My program will refuse to run. I'm trying to implement a bootloader for my application and need to shift my application to a higher address. I've updated the linker script such that the application starts at address 0x08040200 and this seems to work. However, when I start debugging the application and the startup script tries to jump to systemInit it returns a hardfault (FORCED -> [STKERR, IMPRECISERR])I've taken the basic cubeMX project and made following changes:linker:/* Memories definition */ MEMORY { RAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20001000, LENGTH = 76K FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x8040200, LENGTH = 192K }   ... after .data   /* Extra ROM section (last one) to make sure the binary size is a multiple of the AES block size (16 bytes) */ .align16 : { . = . + 1; /* _edata=. is aligned on 8 bytes so could be aligned on 16 bytes: add 1 byte gap */ . = ALIGN(16) - 1; /* increment the location counter until next 16 bytes aligned address (-1 byte) */ BYTE(0); /* allocate 1 byte (value is 0) to be a multiple of 16

Instead of using DTCMRAM or SRAM D1 domain via AXI, I set up the linker file to use D2.In system_stm32h7xx.c I added the lines: /* Change the switch matrix read issuing capability to 1 for the AXI D2 target (Target 2 and INI2) */ *((__IO uint32_t*)0x51003108) = 0x00000001; *((__IO uint32_t*)0x51043108) = 0x00000001;But executing/* Call static constructors */ bl __libc_init_arrayin startup_stm32h743xx.s a Hard Fault is thrown. What is missing to have normal data stored in D2 domain?Thank you for any tipps.

If I want to fully erase eval board STM32MP15F and then re-populate it back to its original out-of-the-box state. Is it enough to upload the flash layout from:en.FLASH-stm32mp1-openstlinux-5.10-dunfell-mp1-21-03-31.tar_v3.0\stm32mp1-openstlinux-5.10-dunfell-mp1-21-03-31\images\stm32mp1\flashlayout_st-image-weston\trustedand reboot the board? Or are there any other steps I should follow?Best regards, Arnas

Hello,I have a big problem with my STWINKT1B. I wanted to load another binary file to it but there was no room left. So in STM32CubeProgrammer, I erased the flash memory. Now the green and orange LEDs do not light up and I can't access the board through TeraTerm and ST-LINK !Hope that someone can provide some help,Thanks !
