Hello everyone,I am trying to deploy ML model to microcontrollers and I have two boards of STM32L4R9I-Discovery and STM32H7B3I-Discovery. The experiments and related results are shown below:I use TFLite Micro and STM32Cube.AI runtime to profile my ML model and then compile on two different boards. The hardware resource related to these two boards are provided and STM32H7B3I is a bigger one. However, it's strange that I can successively get the results on smaller board (STM32L4R9I) but build fail on a bigger one (STM32H7B3I) with the following error:.../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld.exe: *****.elf section `.bss' will not fit in region `RAM'.../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld.exe: region `RAM' overflowed by 251112 bytesCould anyone provide some suggestions about how to address this issue? Thank you very much.Best regards,Jeff

just power on the chip (with 3.3V, without any software initializing), it shows it consumes 700uA about currentif use reset it by writing SW_RESET in register IIS3DWB_CTRL3_C, the current jumps to nearly 2mA . Per spec, it should consume only 5uA during power down, max is 16uA. The host mcu is a stm32l451cc, and the spi1 is connected to iis3dwb, int1 and int2 also connected to gpio. The test is that the stm32l451cc in standy mode with HAL_PWR_EnterSTANDBYMode() called.so the question is 1. the power consumption gap is huge comparing the spec? 2. why a SW_RESET can not be the same consumption with a just power on without any software init? 3. how can achieve as low as possible power consumption ?

I'm working with a STM32WB50. To save energy i have to turn off BLE when i don't need it and turn on when i need it.

The project created by stm32f469 is set to RGB565. Asking if 24Bit Foramt can be used when using images in TouchGFX.As far as I know, RGB565 is 16Bit and 24Bit is in RGB888 format.Can I use a 24Bit image?If the setting is RGB565, can you tell me if I must use a 16Bit image?

Hi,I'm currently developing a PLC-like device based on a STM32F429ZI. It works with FreeRTOS, and the I/O logic is implemented in a single C function, which only accesses a couple of buffers (the locations of which are known prior to compilation). This function runs as a thread on a firmware based on RTOS.Thing is, i'd like the system to be reprogrammable at runtime, allowing the user to send the binary code of a new function (via ethernet, for example), so that the own firmare would relocate the code to flash and lauch it on a new thread. This would require two dedicated flash regions i suppose, in order to keep normal operation while the device is being reprogrammed.What would be the best practices to achieve this? i just need a general overview about its feasability, but also i'd be grateful if someone could refer me to some resources/links on related topics, mainly on transfering the code from RAM to Flash so that it can be executed properly. I've searched online to no avail.Thanks

I am trying to create ADC using STM32F103C8. Software i am using are:a. STM32CubeMXb. Keil Vision -- V5c. After supplying any Voltage value between 0 - 3.3 Volt, output is var

Hi allMaybe you can help me understand something about the IPCC.From my understanding: In case CPU2(BlackBox) sends the CPU1 an command:CPU2(BLE) -----RX occupied ISR -----> CPU1(APP), look in Queue to get the user event.: CPU1(APP) --------TX free ISR---------> CPU2(BLE) , where is the data??When CPU1 (APP) gets a user event from CPU2, It sends a response to CPU2 in a form of TX free ISR is sent. Where is the data of that event?Thanks.P.s. I see that in the opposite direction the data is stored in pCmdBuffer

Hi,I'm trying to write and read to/from M24512-R EEPROM.Seems that everything is fine writing and reading because HAL return is HAL_OK, but allways I've reading 255 value.My code:int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */   /* USER CODE END 1 */   /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/   /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init();   /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */   /* USER CODE END Init */   /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config(); /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_I2C2_Init(); MX_USART1_UART_Init(); MX_USART3_UART_Init(); MX_ADC1_Init(); MX_TIM4_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ const uint8_t num_data = 5; uint8_t datos[num_data]; uint8_t datos_in[num_data]; uint8_t number = 100; HAL_StatusTypeDef escritura = 4; HAL_StatusTypeDef lectura = 4; uint32_t error =0; HAL_I2C_StateTypeDef state = HAL_I2C_STATE_READY

Maybe someone from Touchgfx can help in this

Hi all,I'm starting on AI and so I'm following the tutorial "Getting Started with STM32Cube.AI".  After the first settings I see the message attached. Why?Any Helps?Thanks

STM32f746g-Discovery have external SDRAM and I want to use it by FatFs.Then I have enabled FMC in cubeIDE according to BSP (Board Support Package) driver [stm32746g_discovery_sdram.c][1], except one parameter "Write recovery time" which IDE does not allow me to set it on 2 and its minimum value is 3. then I have configured "FATFS->external SDRAM" middleware according to FatFs_RAMDisk project's [ffconf.h][2], Note this project also uses the same external SDRAM.Now I'm trying to execute this code in main():   FRESULT res;                                         /* FatFs function common result code */     uint32_t byteswritten, bytesread;                 &n

Hi .I have STM32H745II controller, I am keeping its boot pin at HIGH state and providing reset condition.Host controller's SPI pins are connected to SPI3 pins PC10, PC11, PC12 and PA15 of STM32H745II for communicating in SPI boot mode.Here STM32H745II is not responding to SPI boot Sync command i.e ( byte 0x5A ).Where as connecting another STM32H723 controller with Host controller with same connecting result in positive response from STM32H723 controller and flash memory can be verify with stm32cubeProgrammer memory read view.How to program STM32H745II ( Dual core controller ) in SPI boot mode ?Do I need to make any specific changes for dual core H7 series controller to work in boot mode ?Is there any example code for STM32H7 dual core controller firmware update vai OTA ?My requirement is to write flash memory in boot mode by SPI protocol.

Hi,I have control H-bridge with 4 MOSFET up to 100KHz.Will it possible to Generate PWM in Push Pull Mode with deadtime with STM32G0 MCU and CubeMx ?Is there any PWM Fault pin for that ?--Karan

I have 3 Nucleo-WL55JC1 boards and tried to activate the bootloader as AN2606.As an AN2606, it should activate the bootloader if there is pattern 13.  When I have set the BOOT1 and nSWBOOT0 to 1(Checked on STM32CubeProgrammer GUI), and connected BOOT0 pin to VCC, then reset the board, but it still runs the user flash.Also set BOOT1 to 1, nSWBOOT0 to 0 and BOOT0 to GND, then reset, but same.It's very weird and couldn't find the same issue on the forum.Is there any typo on the reference or am I confusing?Any reply would be appreciated.Thank you.

Hello,I am developing a SBSFU for a custom application on a NUCLEO-H753ZI board. The application works well on its own. However, when I switch its linker script for the one of the example UserApp delivered with the SBSFU archive, I encounter some unexpected behavior.Namely, the code still works, and I am actually able to correctly encrypt it and download it on the board. However, it does not work for large inputs. Specifically, my code was initially able to deal with inputs as large as at least 21k bytes. But with the new memory configuration, it only works for inputs up to 13k bytes. Any input larger than that causes what seems to be a segmentation fault on the board.I believe the problem is that my application does not have enough memory anymore since the SBSFU split the memory in several parts. I should also mention that my application carries heavy cryptographic operations, therefore my assumption seems to make sense. I tried to increase the sizes of various areas in the linker fil

Hi everyone... I received a source code from another microcontroller STM32F401RBT6 where another developer was flashing and erasing the flash in this way .. int16_t FlashEraseApp(void) { HAL_StatusTypeDef res; FLASH_EraseInitTypeDef erase_init; uint32_t page_error; erase_init.Banks = FLASH_BANK_1; erase_init.TypeErase = FLASH_TYPEERASE_SECTORS; erase_init.Sector = 3; erase_init.NbSectors = 3; erase_init.VoltageRange = FLASH_VOLTAGE_RANGE_3;   HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); HAL_FLASH_Program(FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_WORD, (uint32_t)&_app_validity, 0); HAL_FLASH_Lock();     HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); res = HAL_FLASHEx_Erase(&erase_init, &page_error); HAL_FLASH_Lock(); if (res == HAL_OK) return 0;   return -1; }I would like to know if I can keep the same code considering that i have to start to erase from sector 3... Moreover i would like to know If also these routines are still valid for the new micro int16_t FlashWriteData(uint32_t flash_addr, uint8_t *data,

Hi,My setup is ST25R3911B / RF-HL ported to ESP32.Recently came across NDEF middleware in "ST25NFC_Embedded_Lib_ST25R3911B". I'm trying to read T2T NFC-A cards but whenever I try to run the NDEF middleware part, the "ndefPollerNdefDetect" function returns error code 11. ( ERR _PROTO )Here's the flow of my code:1) rfalNfcGetActiveDevice(&nfcDevice);If the active device is a T2T card:2) ndefPollerContextInitialization(&ndefCtx, pNfcDevice); - No error returned3) ndefPollerNdefDetect(&ndefCtx, &info); - Returns error code 11 ( ERR_PROTO )What could be the cause of this? Hi folks... I did a bootloader for STM32F7 able to load an hex file from USB stick .. erase the previous flash memory starting at address 0x0810000 (the starting address of the app to delete) and update correctly the new app. The problem is that the final application has an external memory for storing some pictures and we need a quadspi for communicating with such external memory.. The app with graphics and communication is already done and working... My task is to change the bootloader for erasing the external memory and upgrading with the new code /pictures.. How should i Change the bootloader project for erasing the address starting from 0x90000000 and updating the new data ? Is there some examples of code ?? Thanks a lot guys

I have been following the FP-AI-VISION1: Computer Vision application video tutorial by Thibaut Vercueli and he uses Google Colab and a notebook called "TransferLearning" to train a new Tensor Flow Lite model on custom images, before loading this into Cube.AI I would like to find/use the same Colab Notebook or maybe someone could link me to a tutorial showing a similar approach with the notebook available.

Pkg-Config is not supported by STM-IDE ,and cannot be installed. This tool really speeds up the library selection process. Perhaps somebody know any alternatives that STM-IDE does support?URL:https://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/pkg-config-support-eclipse-cdtArnas

Hello,I am trying to add two .a library files and there header files into stm32cube ide project but it's not working. Is there any specific way to add multiple .a library files?Thanks in advanced!!!

I have the Nucleo - STM32F446RE board and have been trying to work with the PWM (using CubeMX) on it for Motor Control. But for some reason I was getting 32.8Khz whenever I set it for 32Khz (while SYSCLK was 180Mhz). I checked my calculations but to no avail. Finally I realized that when I set it to 84Mhz, I got the accurate 32Khz frequency I wanted. Upon further inspection if I kept the SYSCLK as 84, APB2 prescaler as /2 and *2 again for the APB2 timers, the problem returned. I realized that it may not have been about just the SYSCLK but the prescalers too. A /2 *2 configuration caused the 32.8Khz and a /1 *1 configuration resolved it (for 84 Mhz), but I can't do the same for 180Mhz as the clock after the first prescaler is supplied to APB2 peripherals and has a max of 90Mhz, so it can only work with a /2. This board is actually an upgrade to another M4 board I ran on 80Mhz and found to be insufficient for my use so I was looking forward to the 180Mhz. Is there any way I can solve thi

Hello,Sorry in advance for my English. I am also very new to embedded systems and softwares worlds.I am currently trying the lwIP TCP/IP stack on a STM32756G-EVAL2 (STM32F756NGH) board. On one end, I have a Red Hat PC with a network interface used specifically to connect with the board through Ethernet. On the other end, the board linked to the PC with RJ-45 cable. I use STM32CubeIDE v1.5.0 as the IDE for developping my softwares, and the board is connected to the PC via ST-LINK v2.1. I am able to flash and debug my binaries without any issues.My PC is network-configured with a static IP address (192.168.0.2), a netmask (255.255.255.0), a gateway (192.168.0.1) and a MAC address. The board is configured with a static IP address (192.168.0.10), a netmask (255.255.255.0), a gateway (192.168.0.1) and a MAC address (by default 00:80:E1:00:00:00).To reproduce the issue as stated in the title (I will explain more specifically the issue below), here is what I do:First I create a new workspace,
