The problem is that the address of the device is unknown, I tried 0xD4, D5, D6, D7, A6 and many others, zero reaction.To check, I use the function:#define SENSOR_ADDRESS 0xD4if (HAL_I2C_IsDeviceReady(&hi2c1, SENSOR_ADDRESS, 2, 10) == HAL_OK)  {   HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(Green_led_GPIO_Port, Green_led_Pin);  }

Hi!After starting custom board there are a lot of similar messages in dmesg (10 per second):[ 200.480616] dwc2 49000000.usb-otg: Overcurrent change detected....[ 203.598775] dwc2 49000000.usb-otg: Overcurrent change detectedUSB is not working. LED on USB2514B-AEZC hub blinking several times per sec. What is the reason for this message and how to debug this?USB_OTG circuit have no visible hardware problems.Thank you in advanceLooking forward for your reply

Hi everyone,I have a pnucleo lrwan3 kit and I'm trying to setup the end node using the LRWAN NS1 AT Master example from I-NUCLEO-LRWAN package.Everything is working fine until the program gets to the AT+DR command. There a Hard Fault occurs and it gets stuck in a forever loop (default handler). I tried to isolate the problem using the debugger. When the program reaches the switch(DEVICE_STATE) statement, the hard fault occurs. The problem is that I can't get the debugger to enter this switch statement, but it does enter, as various AT commands are being printed after the switch, and before the hard fault. I tried to get infos on this hard fault, but the analyzer does not provide me any clue. I can only get the SP register value and I have not enough knowledge to get any useful info out of it.  I suspect a problem with the AT+DR command. In fact, the program load and works like a charm using Keil uVision. The hard fault only occurs with STM32CubeIDE. You may think that I playe

Hello,I just started with implementing LWIP in the NUCLEO H753ZI. I got the UDP server working and receiving incoming UDP data and echo back to the client. However, if the client sends anything greater than 16 bytes, my board runs into memory error and hung indefinitely. How do I set the incoming packet size so it can accept greater than 16 bytes? Please see the attached images for some of my ethernet config

HelloI am creating a project via STM32CubeIDE (V1.7.0) for a STM32F411 discovery including AzureRTOS.When I include in my thread a call to tx_thread_sleep the program stops in HardFault_Handler when this function is called.I have checked threads are created with no errors.I changed this call by a delay with tx_time_get as in TX_thread_Creation example and this works correctly.I am using the default configuration for AzureRTOS in the CubeMX, only changing "Timebase Source" to use a timer instead of systick and increased "ThreadX Memory pool size" to 10*1024 to avoid possible memory problemsIs there any known problem or change that must be made in configuration to solve this problem? Or there is something else that must be configured to solve this?I include my code for App_threadX_Init, that I have checked with debuger that runs with no errorsUINT App_ThreadX_Init(VOID *memory_ptr) { UINT ret = TX_SUCCESS; TX_BYTE_POOL *byte_pool = (TX_BYTE_POOL*)memory_ptr;   /* USER CODE BEGIN

Hi,I'm trying to upload my code to a STM32L496G-DISCO board using the stm32CubeProgrammer command line interfac, using the following python script: os.chdir(CUBE_PROGRAMMER_CLI_PATH) os.system(f"STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=swd -w {PATH_TO_ELF_FILE} -v")Unfortunately, I keep getting "Error: Data mismatch found at address 0x90000000 (byte = 0x00 instead of 0x68)"the PATH_TO_ELF_FILE is the path to the elf file generated by the STM32CubeIDE. I've tried both the one in the DEBUG folder and the one in the Release folder.I'll note that when I use the one in the Release folder my project's images don't load and something is clearly wrong, while when using the one in the Debug folder everything seems fine, except for the error.I'll also note that the same thing happens when I try to use the .hex file. This happens when using the graphical interface as well, though not when using the 'run' in the stm32cubeide, so i'm not sure what's the difference.Thank you!

Hi ,I am using bootloader to jump application using QSPI .It is jumping proper in QSPI loader.I faced some timing issue in QSPI. I planned to use SDRAM or internal SRAM1 (0X30000000).In my MCU STM32H750XBH6U single core M7. In bootloader copied image from QSPI to SDRAM. I checked CRC in SDRAM bank1 (0xC0000000) and call jump function. It is not jumping to the address .I added LED ON in SystemInit() function.I can able jump AXI SRAM 0x24000000 .I couldn't jump SDRAM bank1 (0xC0000000) or SRAM1(0x30000000).How to load application from boot loader using SDRAM bank1?

Hello! I need to know how GPIO speed control is implemented. Unfortunately, no information was found in the documentation. All that is known is that the signal front is growing faster or slower, but why? I need some hardware schematic or diagram etc., to understand how it works, how it implemented.

I am making my custom board based on the B-G431B-ESC1 board and do not understand how to make the same analog measurement with 3 op-amp and ADC channels. For some reason, there is no choice of 3 op amps from the drop-down list, only 2.

First time building a sample project after installation of SPC5Studio 6.0 + autodevkit + MCTK_LIB and got this:22:10:13 **** Incremental Build of configuration Default for project SPC560Pxx_RLA AEK_MOT_3P99081_3Phase_Motor_Control_via_CAN ****make all Cannot run program "make": Launching failedError: Program "make" not found in PATHPATH=[C:/SPC5Studio-6.0/eclipse/jre/bin/server;C:/SPC5Studio-6.0/eclipse/jre/bin; ...

This is using the basic keyboard example project, and I am trying to make the keyboard larger. So I have gone in and changed all of the values in keyArray in KeyboardLayout.hpp, as well as change the keyboard.setPosition call to have the the appropriate arguments in MainView.cpp. However the size seems to be hardcoded somewhere to the original 320x240, and I just can't find where that is to change it. I added an image with the original background just to show how the size is being limited by the dimensions of the original.

in regular mode,ADC with DMA would be faster than injected mode, isn't it right?

Using the STM32F303RE Nucleo, I need to put ADC1 in scan mode so I can read multiple channels. To do so, I need to set the 'Scan Conversion Mode' to 'Enabled' in the Configuration. However that is not an option in the CubeIDE. Only 'Disabled' is showing. The only other peripheral I have is the DAC1. How to Enable scan mode ?

Hello,I am working on a project with stm32f769i-eval and touch gfx designer(4.13.0) .I select my board as application template then I try both using a blank template or any of the examples that are provided. After generating the code, I try to run the project on my target and even though it doesn't fail my screen is not displaying anything. (If I run on the simulator it works perfectly). What should I do?Thx,Irene

I am trying to use DataLogExtended application available with FP-SNS-STBOX1 for SensorTile.box. Apparently, the project works only with a specific version of Unicleo GUI (1.11.0).However, I am unable to download older version of the GUI from ST website.Any hints/help/suggestions would be helpful.Regards,Aditi Prakash

I performed the upload using STE BLE Sensor app (Firmware upgrade). The upload was successful and I received a notification that said SensorTile.box will restart, please restart the app. I did so but the sensor is now disconnected. None of the LED's blink. Power button is ineffective. Any attempt to connect to the sensor (via BT app, via PC BT, via USB) is not working. What could be the issue and how to solve this problem?Update (09.11.2021): I tried uploading binaries onto the sensor using DfuSe Demo software, (https://community.st.com/s/profile/0050X000009y6lZQAQ) but the tool does not detect the hardware. The device manager shows connection to an STM32 Bootloader though.Any hint/suggestion/help would be greatly appreciated :)Regards,Aditi

If I point my VL53L5CX unit at the ceiling which I have measured to be 2.13m above my device, I get some readings that are status 5 of around 2100 mm and some readings that are status 255 of around 2100mm. Why is this the case? Because 2.1m is within the 4m rated distance (I have no coverglass as well), shouldn't every zone of my sensor be getting a proper reading? And also what does it mean for the reading to be status 255 but the distance is correct? Can I trust these status 255 numbers?

Our designer can't access TouchGFX Designer directly for font selection. So we need a list of all fonts which are in TouchGFX designer by default to provide him for selection.Unfortunately I did not find such a list online (e.g. on Texts and Fonts | TouchGFX Documentation)Can anyone provide a complete list or tell me where to find the font files in TouchGFX Designer?

I am not an ST expert nor RTC expert, whatever that means. but I have seen several implementations made by other companies and I have to say RTC as counter (the HW that provide interface to a posix compatible timestamp, usually 32 bit seconds + 15 fractional bits) is faster (at driver level the posix time value is written and read without conversion to expanded form), math friendlier (non trivial time calculation is really hard in expanded form so everyone tends to use posix form converting it) and I suspect since the lower amount of transistor, much simpler, lower power and cheaper. I never liked the RTC calendar HW implementation since it is overcomplicated in both HW and driver and I cannot see any benefit on such implementation. I understand that calendar implementation make sense 30 years ago on 4 bit processors when RTC was mainly used to produce a digital clock; now today cpu are used mostly for IoT and other device that are not just a simple clock printing the date/time over 7

(Finally got the powerStep01 working)I have a Vexta PK266-02A stepper motor with has a phase resistance of 3.6Ωs. I am running the driver at 18V, and I am using the SPINFamily Evaluation tool. Whenever I issue a command, I promptly get an overcurrent alarm. Running the powerStep01 with a smaller stepper does not create this problem. How do I calculate the required parameters given an arbitrary phase resistance at a known VS voltage?
