Hello, Is there can do processor load display without operating system ?

Hi,We are using the STM32MP157f-ev1 board for our initial development and this is our first time using Linux kernel, we have been following the development package wiki links for building kernel, u-boot and tf-a. We used the STM32CubeIDE's inbuilt cubeMx to generate device trees. For now we have been successful with modifying the kernel device tree to enable couple of USARTs, build it in kernel code base, push it to target, modify the mmc0_extlinux/stm32mp157f-ev1_extlinux.conf in boot partition to load the custom device tree while booting up, test them on the evaluation board and the USARTs are working as expected and we see successful data transfers. However when we modify the clock configuration using the STMCubeIDE/CubeMx we see the changes are being done to the device tree under u-boot and tf-a folders. I have the following questions:If I copy the u-boot and tf-a device trees to their corresponding source code and build them, how to make sure that the device boots up with

As stated in the title, I'm having trouble getting the ST-Link microUSB port connections to enumerate on the PC (Linux). I have two of the dk2 boards, and they have the same behavior. The only way they enumerate on the host is through the DFU mechanism, which is on one of the USB-C ports. For the ST-Link port, dmesg shows nothing when the cable is attached, and lsusb does not list any additional device. Please let me know the settings I must use to get the ST-Link to enumerate.

Reading the data sheet of SMCJxxA, SMCJxxCA,for the SMCJ5.0A/CA it is specified an IRM of 500uA ( 2000uA at 85C) at 5V it seem not consistant whith the SMBJ type witch seem to be the same (exept power handling).(In SMBJXXA data sheet miss witch is bidi and unidirectional what is CA and what is A)RegardsJP Lathuile

Dear all,I need the best accurate G-Force sensor which need to plug inside the cars and trucks for telematics usage which helps to get left turn, right turn, reverse and break event. Can anyone help me to choose the right ready to go part or solution which must have 10 year support and easy integration on Linux supported host system product board? Thanks & best regardsNikunj Patel

My question says it all. I would like to use X-Cube-TOF1 package with X-Nucleo-53L0A1. I do not see that board mentioned in the list of options.

Hello, I wanted to try how would TouchGFX look like in one cool application - an Oscilloscope. I checked out the Graph widget and thought to myself, I could use it for that purpose. So, I set up everything like it was explained here, and I put the ADC in the interrupt mode. I saw that the only function to insert the data points into the graph is addDataPoint(). It did work, however, I was only able to insert one point at the time. The line slowly scrolls across the graph, and it takes some time to fill it from one end to the other. Not really the actual "oscilloscope" experience, I was going for. So I'd like to ask:a) is there a way to speed up the data feed onto the graph?b) is there a way to flush multiple data points at once, such it might be the array of ADC values?Best regards,PKEDIT: I played with the simulator and found out that I can just add all the points in a for loop within the handleTickEvent() event, and the simulation sounds very promising. This might be what I'm looking

I am putting a Webserver in a STM32F407. I have static and dynamic pages working and am now working on a file upload function. The browser sends me a single packet that is 887 bytes long according to Wireshark. I am using Netconn with LWIP so when I call netconn_recv, I only get 536 bytes in the first call then 297 bytes in the second call. It's clear that these are supposed to be connected together (printed them in the debugger). There is no way to see that these should be connected to each other. With both packets the Len and Tot_Len are the same! Also they are not linked to each other...two separate netbufs!Any ideas?

Dear Support,Please advise why there are other part numbers in the box labels for VNH5019ATR-E?Please see photo and advise the meaning for VNH5019ATR-N and VNH5019ATR-M in the labels.Thanks.

I am trying to use the example created by the SPC5 studio with interrupts. It has a PIT_0 (vector 227) configured. What i observed is that the interrupt is triggered only once after the application starts and is not triggered any more. As far as I understand from the datasheet, the respective interrupt register bit is to be reset by writing 1 to it and then the interrupt is cleared and ready to be retriggered. On the same lines I also configured the STM interrupt but it has the same behaviour. After the application starts interrupt is triggered once and not anymore. Could someone please help and let me know what are all the necessary steps in initialisation and while clearing the interrupt so that the ISR is triggered everytime the timer has met its criteria.Kind regards,Fahad

I'm using CubeMX to configure the BSP for an STM32F767. My clock tree has 54MHz going to I2C2, and when I set up I2C2 with "I2C Speed Frequency" of 400KHz, CubeMX outputs a timing register (I2C_TIMINGR) value of 0x6000030D. With a prescaler of 7 and 20 prescaled periods, that comes out to an actual ideal frequency of ~385KHz (which I've confirmed with a scope.)Problem is, I actually need the full bandwidth of a 400KHz bus. I manually edited the hi2c2.Init.Timing value in the CubeMX-generated main.c to 0x6000030C and compiled and ran it, and this value meets my requirements and works on my hardware. (I am aware this runs the bus at a slightly out-of-spec ~406KHz assuming ideal rise/fall time, but this is acceptable for the application.)My question is: how can I get CubeMX to either output this value for I2C2's timing register, or edit main.c in such a way that CubeMX won't override it when regenerating? I know about the user code sections, but hi2c2.Init.Timing is set and then consumed

Kindly throw us some light as we need to detect fall detection using STMR9 with LSM6DSOXwaiting for your response

Hi,We are using stm32mp157a processorin Ubootv2018.11-stm32mp1-r2.1 version. In this DDR has 512MB of memory. We want to change DDR size 512MB to 1 GB ,how can we do that? and what are the files we need to modify for changing ddr size in uboot? Please help us.

For mechanical reasons we are using the Square SensorTile contained in the STEVAL-STLKT01V1 kit. This comes with demo software installed that shows off all of the features of the board. The demo advertises itself as AM1V330.However, if we download the SDK V2.5.0 and build the BLE_SampleApp and program it into the Tile it advertises itself as STLB250 and is missing a lot of the functionality of the pre-programmed demo. It only has Temperature, Pressure, RSSI and a LED switch. My proof of concept demo needs the accelerometer support. Is the demo source available?

I'm using CubeMX 6.3.0 with a STM32H755 micro. The cube mx generated code assumes a HAL_PWREx_ConfigSupply( ) setting that is not correct for my hardware. Is there a place to configure this setting? I notice PWR is setup under Power and Thermal but it doesn't look like there is a spot to pick SMPS or LDO there. My hardware requires it set to HAL_PWREx_ConfigSupply(PWR_LDO_SUPPLY) and this is very important. When set for SMPS, which my hardware doesn't support, the core shuts down and not even the JTAG interface is working at that point. There is a work around to do a mass erase to recover but it isn't obvious.

I went through the device electronic signature. I don't see anything specific by reading the register from which I can differentiate between F and G series

I'm currently investigating SBSFU options for STM32 and it seems like the base package incorporates authentication of the firmware based on on digital signatures (ECDSA, edDSA etc.) but does not incorporate firmware encryption. I have an additional requirement to encrypt the firmware prior to flashing it to the device and then decrypting and authenticating the app image prior to execution. Is this possible through the base SBSFU package or does it require a custom extension/implementation? Thanks!
