Hello! I'm working with a custom STM32WB10CCU board and can't seem to get BLE working.Here are the details:I have no LSE on the board.. just HSE. I'm configuring RFWKP to HSE/1024 and RTC to HSE/32 (I know that LSE is strongly recommended -.. but from what I've read it's not a hard req unless you want to go into certain sleep modes)I'm using STM32WB v1.2 core and have IPCC enabled with the added RTC_WKUP_IRQHandler call that's supposed to be implemented as per every BLE workshop video/slide deckI have a ST-Link V2 and I'm stepping through the code. It's going to my Error handler directly after running the SHCI_C2_BLE_Init because it fails.. Not sure why.I used STM32CubeProgrammer to upload the latest Wireless Stack via FUS and ensured it was abled. When reading FUS info with wireless stack enabled I'm getting version: 4.0.0.cSince I'm running RTC off of HSE, I had to add HAL_PWR_EnableBkUpAccess(); to my HAL_RTC_MspInit call or else RTC init times out and fails. I think this could poss

Steps to reproduce issue:Create new project in TouchGFX 4.18.0, set target board H743 eval, add box with border, set border color to red, box color to green, save project, generate code, build and download to board with CubeIDE

In AN5755 it says: "If the user wants to read both pressure and Qvar, the interleaved mode should be enabled with bit QVAR_AUTO_EN in register 12h: • write(0x12, 0xA0); // QVAR_enable in interleaved mode In this mode the output registers are filled once with pressure data and once with Qvar data alternatively every ODR. So, both pressure and Qvar data have their ODR halved (in one-shot mode the output is filled one time with pressure, one time with Qvar)."I don't see QVAR_AUTO_EN in the CTRL_REG3 data sheet description, and when I tried this it didn't seem to work. Is this supported/further documented?In order to minimize power in barometer mode the data sheet advises to write 0x00 to register 0x5F. But this register is not indicated in the register map. I did this and nothing bad happened, but again, is this supported/documented somewhere?Lastly, I would like to be able to set an over value interrupt on one of the INT pins for a QVAR value measured on the other INT (AH) pin. This seem

The generated code has wrong order for MX_DMA_Init() that doesn't work: MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_ADC1_Init(); MX_DMA_Init();...Correct code is: MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_DMA_Init(); MX_ADC1_Init();...note: STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.7.0 Build: 10852_20210715_0634 (UTC)

I want to rotate 90 degree the screen. How do it? Rotate the screen 90 degrees?

Hi, I had a weird issue with an STM32F334 MCU. A pin was configured as Open Drain - this pin is used for falling edge interrupt and pulled up by a different section of the design. But I had issue today with the operation of the pin and realised the MODER Register read "0x-2". What does this mean please? I have solved this issue by locking the pin, but I just want to know if this makes any sense. I am using Ride 7 IDE.

Hello, I'm using the demoboard (B_U585I_IOT02A) in order to read an analogic input (between 1V and 2V for my tests) and I'm currently trying to use the ADC. I say "trying" because, for now, I still haven't been able to read the values correctly. For the code below, I keep having the value 0 in rawForData, and I have not been able to read anything with ADC. I did suceed to read with HAL_GPIO_ReadPin, so the pins are working correctly. I don't know where I am wrong, I tried to follow tutorials on internet but it seems that I've missed something. Could you help me please ?Here is part of my code using ADC :-----------------------------------------------------------------ADC_HandleTypeDef hadc1;uint32_t rawForData;int main(void) { HAL_Init(); /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config(); /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_ADC1_Init(); while (1) { HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc1); // I tried several configurations where I pl

Hello, I am using STM32mp157f-dk2 board and I have a peripheral connected on GPIO pin #16 ( PF1)on doing gpoiget gpiochip5 1 > i get 1on doing gpiosetgpiochip5 1=0 i DO NOT get any error but on doing again gpioget gpiochip5 1 > i get 1 againI see it is shared with SDMMC3_CMD . On directly connecting it to Ground , it becomes low , not otherwise from the above commands.Is this the same MMC on which starter image is written?Is it safe to pull it down permanently from the hardware?  May I know how to make it low from the software permanenetly.Regards,D

At same time all structure fields are exists.What I do wrong?

Hello,I have been requested to have our RFID reader compatible with Android, iOS and physical cards.Android can perform HCE and NDEF messages can be read with our current reader (ST25R95). So far, so good.But, it seems apple is forcing to use Apple VAS so as to have the phone in emulation mode. But not sure how to be compatible with this. We just need to read some small info from the phones (a NDEF txt would be enough).How can I manage to read or exchange NDEF messages from a iOS phone?Is there any chipset certified to be used taht provides VAS compatibility?Regards, Ramon.

I am trying to get LM35 temperature sensor value using STM32F411RE. When supply voltage fed to LM35 is 3.3 V, the correct digital data is produced. But when 5V is fed as supply to LM35, the digital values produced are the same as those when 3.3V is supplied. Do I have to configure the reference as 5V anywhere in the code? or Is there any way to get proper digital values for 5V supply as well? Please help me out.Code:ADC_HandleTypeDef hadc1;DMA_HandleTypeDef hdma_adc1;int main(void){  HAL_Init();  SystemClock_Config();  MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_DMA_Init(); MX_ADC1_Init();  /* Infinite loop */ /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) {   /* USER CODE END WHILE */HAL_ADC_Start_DMA(&hadc1,(uint32_t*)&ADCres,ADCres_len); if(conv_handler==1){conv_handler=0;   //HAL_ADC_Stop_DMA(&hadc1);//break;}//HAL_ADC_Stop_DMA(&hadc1);HAL_Delay(100);   digital=ADCres;temp=(digital*330)/4096; &nb

Hello! I need help.I'm using windows 10. To work, I downloaded the latest version of Unico-GUI.The following error occurs.Maybe I need to install drivers for the ISM330DHCX module ?

HiWe are using the STM32L4S7AI. We have USART2 configured as 9-bit data.We are using the HAL and have been using 8-bit HAL on many STM32 for a while... this is our first 9-bit data use.We set UART_InitTypeDef.WordLength to UART_WORDLENGTH_9B.On the wire, we have this message:We have our UART configured as 19200, 9bit, 2 STOP, no parity.So... for the first byte, given the image in the STM MCU guide: I'd expect this to be LSB to MSB and have a value of 2 when read.We are reading RDR under interrupt. It is a 16bit register:uint16_t data = READ_REG( port->hwport->Instance->RDR );data is assigned to 1.The values on the wire above read as 001 0FE 0F7 0D7 1BEWhy is the STM32 treating the first bit on the wire as the 9th bit?Thanks

There are two variants, STM32H7B3IIT6 without SMPS and STM32H7B3IIT6Q with SMPS. What are the differences between using or not using SMPS? Why is it preferred with SMPS?

I googled this and found nothing, so here it goes.According to the documentation:setTouchable(true) - enables touch events.setTouchable(false) - disables touch events.This however seems to not be the case in my software. I am using TouchGFX 4.18.1 and a template for STM32H750B-DK version 3.0.6.I have made an error pupup window with a box with alpha 0 covering the entire screen in order to lock any touch events behind the popup window. I have wasted too much time in order to accidentaly discover, that the setTouchable() function works opposite to what was intented. So currently I'm using setTouchable(true) to disable touch events, and setTouchable(false) to enable them.Is this a bug with my software, or maybe is this a simulator bug (I haven't tested it on harware yet) or maybe is it actually intended?

Hello,I have ran and modified few examples of applications for Zigbee on Nucleo STM32WB.I have registered my STM32WB as a node of my existing Zigbee network and it works fine.My coordinator indicates me that the Zigbee model of the node is "STM32WB". I guess it is the node that somehow annonced his model. Is it possible to change this model name to put a custom name instead? Thank you for your answer,Best regards,LéoPS: is there a complete documentation of the API/stack available where I can find that kind of information?

Hello,I am trying to read data from iOS/Andriod App with my reader.Currently, my reader is based on st25r95 and it is in tag detector mode waiting for physical cards. Everthing is ok so far. Now I need to wakeup and get data from smartphone or pshysical card.For getting data from iOs/Android App I guess I have 2 options:Use HCE in smartphone and read the data as a physical tag. But not sure if ST25R95 supports this or I need to meve to st95Hf, or which protocol to use, methods, etc. Use P2P, but I think p2p is only supported in ST95HF.My preferred choice is to go with HCE, but not sure how to proceed.Can you confirm this can be done with st25r95?I think I have to use 14443A protocol, but not sure if I need an upper FW layer for handlng this.I can not find any app in playstore to emulate tags. Can you provide any recommendation on how to test this.Regards, Ramon.

On a STM32G431K8 I'm using the DMA1 to handle SPI1 data transfer (channel 1 for data receiption and channel 2 for data transmission).I'm using STM32CubeMX for code generation, resulting in following SPI1 and DMA1 initialization:/** * @brief SPI1 Initialization Function * @param None * @retval None */ static void MX_SPI1_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN SPI1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END SPI1_Init 0 */   LL_SPI_InitTypeDef SPI_InitStruct = {0};   LL_GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0};   /* Peripheral clock enable */ LL_APB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB2_GRP1_PERIPH_SPI1);   LL_AHB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB2_GRP1_PERIPH_GPIOA); /**SPI1 GPIO Configuration PA5 ------> SPI1_SCK PA6 ------> SPI1_MISO PA7 ------> SPI1_MOSI */ GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = LL_GPIO_PIN_5; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = LL_GPIO_MODE_ALTERNATE; GPIO_InitStruct.Speed = LL_GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_HIGH; GPIO_InitStruct.OutputType = LL_GPIO_OUTPUT_PUSHPULL; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = LL_

Hi,I'm using a custom buildroot build (2021.11) with linux 5.15.13, on the stm32mp157f-ev1 board.I can load an .elf M4 firmware into the M4 core and start it, using /sys/class/remoteproc/remoteproc0However, I can't use the debugging feature of STM32CubeIDE. I get an error in "final launch sequence". It works fine when I'm running the standard ST linux distribution however.Does anybody know, what is required for CubeIDE debugging to work on the M4 core in production mode?I notice some ST stuff missing from linux 5.15.13, compared to the 5.10.61 linux used in the ST distribution: rproc_srm_core, rproc_srm_dev, tee_remoteproc, rpmsg_tty. Any of this required for CubeIDE debugging?

I am using MB1407C (stm32mp157x-DK2 extension board with touch-screen) connected to my custom board. When board is booting I am getting the "ST life.augmented" screen on the U-boot and black screen when kernels starts. Also I am getting the telnet commands when I am updating the flashlayout using the CubeMxFlashLoader - so my guess is the DSI connection is working, but why do i get the black screen instead of the Wayland Weston desktop- that is shown when stm32mp157x-DK2 loads up the OS? What am i missing? What is other way to test the DSI connections?

I've been using a STM32U585 Discovery kit for a few days and have succesfully run several programs on it. However today I suddenly got this error in STM32CubeIDE when trying to run a new program:---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Error: Data mismatch found at address 0x0800899C (byte = 0x31 instead of 0x33)Error: Download verification failed---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Trying to upload different programs gave the same result, but with the mismatch at different addresses.Using STM32CubeProgrammer I can erase the flash completely and then normally upload and run code with CubeIDE once, but after uploading a different program again I will get the same error.I've upgraded the ST Link firmware, no change.I would appreciate any help in finding the problem as I don't want to use CubeProgrammer to fully erase flash every time.

I am developing an RFID system that is capable to read a passive tag(M24LR04E) about 30cmMy antenna design chose Molex 1462360031 and the reader IC is ST25R3915. I use the matching circuit tool as the circuit reference but the signal did not pass over the 220pF capacitor. Therefore no signal could pass to the antenna. Is there any ST25R3915 matching design that is work?
