I am trying to use dma with timer 2 in order to change the dutty cycle of a pwm output in each cycle. However, I get a dma transfer error.

Hello everyone I am working on 1 image example for STM32G474 I want to ask that what we can achieve using this.....We are able to download new firmware image or Not ?????????

Hi, How can I set the RF output power of stm32wl55 in a LoRaWAN application?  I have Nucleo board, but it seems transmission power is adjusted automatically. The distance between the Gateway and Nucleo is a bit far, so I need to increase TX power. If I read TXPower using functions of LmHandler APIs, I always see 0(I think this means 0dBm output power). How to set TX power? (I've tried SetTxPower function, but I still read 0)

@Jocelyn RICARD  We need secure storage to keep Private Keys and certificates for TLS communication on STM32H753.To achieve this we found STSAFE-A110, but interfacing and to bring in this peripheral, it is time taking in terms of re-spin PCB design etc.Instead of this, can we choose PCROP protection mechanism, like converting Data to Instructions with help of scripts and then store them under PCROP protections ??is this solution looks feasible ??

Hi,I want to confim the pulse duration fo the TIM1 TRGO2 compare pulse. I used the TIM1 trgo2 to trigger the ADC. The TIM1 clock is 64MHz and the ADC clock is 32MHz, the sampling time is 7.5 ADC clock.I want to set the ADC trigger mode is "01", but in the software I config the ADC trigger mode is ‘11:Hardware trigger detection on both the rising and falling edges’. The result of my tests is that the pulse only triggers the ADC once on the rising edge.. The falling edge did not trigger the ADC converter. So the '11' is same with the '01:Hardware trigger detection on the rising edge '. Is the pulse width of the TRGO2 only one clock cycle of the TIM1? If I want to trigger the ADC on the rising edge, is it ok if I use the "11" instead of "01"?I'm using STM32G031 and STM32F301. The results are the same for both models. I did not get the information from the user manual or other datasheet. Thanks and best regards.John

Hi,I tried to install STM32CubeProgrammer v2.10.0 on my Kubuntu 20.04.4.The error I get is CubeProgrammer_API or one of its dependencies is missing. What I could find from the forum is that could mean the installer used a different Java/OpenJDK version that what the programmer tries to run on. (https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W0000057GXWSA2/error-cubeprogrammerapi-or-one-of-its-dependencies-is-missing-with-programmer-version-240)The output from the installer looks like it installed with 1.8.0_265$ ./SetupSTM32CubeProgrammer-2.10.0.linux ./SetupSTM32CubeProgrammer-2.10.0.linux /home/arno/Downloads chdir /home/arno/Downloads/. current dir /home/arno/Downloads Command line arguments: ==================== Installation started Framework: 1.8.0_192-BellSoft-b03 (Oracle Corporation) Platform: ubuntu_linux,version=5.13.0-40-generic,arch=x64,symbolicName=null,javaVersion=1.8.0_265 Installation finished [ Writing the uninstaller data ... ]However, the official repositories show only 8u252

I'm currently working on my second ever TouchGFX project and keep stumbling upon the same issues as in my first one.I have a battery indicator that I would like to show on (almost) every screen. For this reason I created a container that I can easily drop on every screen and implemented a few relevant methods on this container. This battery indicator is obviously driven by hardware (a FreeRTOS message is sent from the HW task to the TGFX task, if that makes any difference). Now the Model receives these messages and notifies the ModelListener via a virtual method like `virtual void notifyBatteryVoltage(uint8_t);` or similar. Here is where it gets interesting to me:The base ModelListener cannot implement anything UI-related as it doesn't know anything about the View it will be attached to.It probably should not call anything on the base Presenter as this will couple the two aspects (ModelListener, Presenter) too tightly.Even if I implemented the previous point, the base Presenter doesn't

I am able to read the fixed length fname. But the pointer to the long filename is always 0. this is how im reading trough the list of filesFRESULT detect_binariesFolder(){ fresult=f_opendir(&dir, "lu"); fresult=f_readdir(&dir, &filinfo); fresult=f_findfirst(&dir, &filinfo, "lu", "*.bin");//http://elm-chan.org/fsw/ff/doc/findfirst.html   while (fresult == FR_OK && filinfo.fname[0]) { /* Repeat while an item is found */ fresult=f_findnext (&dir, &filinfo); }   fresult=f_closedir(&dir); return fresult; }I tried the three different cubeMx options for long filenames :static buffer on the BSSdynamic buffer on heapdynamic buffer on stackNone of them works. My setup:stm32f105RBt6 custom board.SD Card trough SPI2, sandisk ultra 16GB.CubeMx version 6.4.0, STM32Cube_FW_F1_V1.8.4 package which uses FatFs version R0.10c, Nov 09, 2014.CubeIDE Version: 1.8.0

Hello everyone,I want to make a project with STM32L series and LORA module and battery optimization is essential. I am going to run MCU under 1.8V but I am still not sure about LORA module. I am seeing support 1.8V operational mode. I assume if I have any problem 1.8V I will switch it to 3V3. In this scenerio, 1V8 stm32l0 and 3V3 Lora communicates with SPI and Lora spi will be 3V3. Can the stm32l0 handle the 3V3 spi com. Any person available here who is experienced about with 1V8.Thanks in advance.

I am developing a hardware design using the STM32WLE5JCI6. As a reference, I am looking at projects "MB1842.PrjPcb" (reference design) and "MB1389.PrjPcb" (Nucleo-WL55JC1 design files)

I am using an NFC reader, ST25R95, and it seems to be slow in reading, also it only reads at a very close rangeI wonder, if it is possible to change some parameter, something like sensitivity or something like that, to improve the distances and reading speedThank you in advance for your help

I'm trying to understand how I program the BLE Stack and FUS in the CPU2 of STM32WB55G (1Mb). When I use the binary available of ST repositoy, in default mode I program the "stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw.bin" in address started 0x08000000, but in the release_note that is available of ST repository, it's show us that the binary needs program in address started 0x080D0000: When I program with this configuration and also program the "BLE_Ota", the application works (I can see the device in the app "ST BLE SENSOR"). But I didn't understand like it works, because the BLE_Ota start address in the 0x08000000 and it's overwrite the program previous (stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw.bin), right?I did any tests: I Followed the video "STM32WB Getting Started Series: Part 7, Over-the-Air (OTA)" for understand the construction of memory, I understood that the memory of CPU 1 is 0x0800000 until 0x080CB000 and CPU 2 is 0x080CB000 until 0x080FFFFF:So, when I try to read the memory of 0x080CB000, I get t

I'm totally new on stm32 mcu's. i was working on a project and i want to update the MCU(The previous MCU was AVR) and i want to encode and decode base64 using Stm32CubeIDE(HAL Driver), so i decide to port my arduino library. The library is attached, but i have a problem in porting library. there is an include and function in the arduino library and i don't know how to port this part of code:First part: #include <avr/pgmspace.h>const char PROGMEM b64_alphabet[] = "ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ" "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz" "0123456789+/";and this functionpgm_read_byte(&b64_alphabet[a4[i]]).The original library file is attached. Please help me. i dont know what should i do for this.

Hi again,I'm currently working on a TouchGFX project that requires me to have some one-time setup with some screens that are only shown to the user if the device is not yet set up, Let's call the first of these screens "WelcomeScreen" as opposed to the "MainScreen" for the sake of brevity. So, if the device is set up, I want to show the MainScreen to the user, and if the setup procedure is not yet done, I want to show the WelcomeScreen to the user. What I have tried now is add a method `bool isSetupComplete()` to the Model class.add invisible buttons that have dummy "Change Screen" interactions attached, andbasically copy the code generated when adding a transition on a button in a view, i.e.FrontendApplication& Model::application() { return *static_cast<FrontendApplication*>(touchgfx::Application::getInstance()); }and then add the following lines to the Model's c'tor:if(setupIsComplete()) { application().gotoMainScreenNoTransition(); } else { application().gotoWelcomeScree

Hi Community,When I use the Touch GFX from software packs in STM32CubeIDE and generate the project, I am getting the following errors. So, anyone is having idea how to solve this?1) region `RAM' overflowed by 1168976 bytes.2) touchgfx_ide_new.elf section `Video_RGB_Buffer' will not fit in region `RAM'. Thank you.Vins.

When I attempt to create a task with a name longer than 15 characters, CubeMX seems to truncate to 15 characters max. How do I name a Task in CubeMX longer than 15 characcters?

HelloIn my application, I use the DAC of the Micro to charge a capacitor(47uF). When the micro is power off, the voltage on the capacitor start to discharge with a high impedance resistor(6.8Megohm). I want the leakage current of the Micro I/O small enough. As I don't want the leakage current impact the capacitor discharge time. Thanks!

Hi,I have three projects, running on an STM32H7B3I-DK Discovery board. They Are: Complex - Using TouchGFX, a lot of I/O, timers, ADC's I2C, SPI and the other project is simple using only the ADC's. Throws SWV errorSimple   - No TouchGFX using ADC 1 and ADC 2 Only No SWV ErrorSimple   - Using Touch GFX and no other I/O No SWV ErrorWhen I debug the complex project I get an error: "Failed To Enable SWI - SWV will be disabled for this debug session" When I debug the simple project the error does not occur.Obviously it is something in the build of the complex project that is causing this. The debug settings are identical for each project and are shown in the screen shots attached. The console output for the debug build is:STMicroelectronics ST-LINK GDB server.
