Hi,Imagine I want to write the same string in two screens with a font X, with a font Y in another screen, and with a font Z in three other screens, how should I go about it with the current text management that offers touchgfx? Should I just create various resources like TEXT_1_SMALL, TEXT_1_MEDIUM and TEXT_1_BIG that all have the same text and a different font ? What's the best way to go about it?What I do as of now is shown in the following image: I just use the resources to define the style of the texts and then, I have a separate table with all the traductions, which allows me to print a same text with various styles. What I don't like is that by doing that, I have to bypass the 'touchgfx way' of managing texts.So the question is : is there a way of doing that through touchgfx without having to have multiple resources with the same text just because they have different fonts… ?Thanks in advance.

Good morning,I am trying to setup STM32CubeIDE to work on an offline computer, I do not have the option to connect it to the internet. Installing the SDK through the IDE works fine and I am able to import the OpenSTLinux source projects (Linux, U-Boot, TF-A/SP-Min and Op-TEE). but this is not what I need.What I really need is to have the same result in an offline environment, this is what I do:1) Install OpenSTLinux SDK via script as explained in the Developer Package instructions.2) Install STM32CubeIDE 1.8.0/1.9.03) Configure STM32CubeIDE Preferences menu for "STM32Cube->OpenSTLinux SDK Manager" to point to my SDK installed in step 1 4) Install FW Package for stm32mp1From this point I am able to create projects and compile for stm32mp1But I am not able to import the OpenSTLinux Source projectsI am working with the stm32mp1 MPU (stm32mp157f-ev1 board) and I tried using STMCubeIDE 1.8.0 and 1.9.0 versions with the same results.How can I install offline the SDK so the STM32CubeIDE is

FP-CLD-AWS1 software package v3.0.1 for STWINKT1B fails to be compiled in higher STM32CubeIDE version than 1.8.0. Library link error happens. It is successfully compiled only in 1.8.0. version. It seems to be IDE bug. I hope it to be checked and fixed.

The function we want is that it automatically recognizes when a small object with an NFC tag is mounted on a device.Thus, We want to have an NFC reader on our device and attach NFC tags to small objects to mount on the device.Is it possible to use ST25R3916B as NFC reader to read Ntag213?If it is possible, how can I get some samples?Best RegardsCho

hello.I am using LSM6DSM to collect acceleration and gyro data.Data is being collected at 52Hz using FIFO, but the actual data collected is about 51.2Hz.It is probably caused by the LSM6DSM internal clock being inaccurate. Is there a way to correct this?For reference, my MCU's clock is set very accurately to the external clock.I need help. thank you

Hey guys, I was wondering if someone made the onboard High Speed PHY to work on the STM32F730Z8? No matter what I have tried, I am not able to make it work on HS. I am trying to implement an MSC host to read a USB memory stick. It is working without problem on the OTG FS port, but when i reconnect the usb connector to the HS pins (PB14/PB15), nothing i have tried so far has made any progress (3 days now). Most basic setup from stm32cubemx wouldnt have any effect at all when the memory stick is connected. I implemented the VBUS control thru a switch chip, as well as defined the output GPIO so that HAL can control that pin, and this works fine on the OTG FS.I have a 3k resistor connected between ground and the USB_OTG_HS_REXTPHYHS pin. The USB connector is getting the proper 5V. The only time I had a different outcome is when i explicitly added __HAL_RCC_OTGPHYC_CLK_ENABLE(); at the HAL_HCD_MspInit() function. After adding this, the gState of the u

Setting the encoder functionality on STM32F103C8 is straight forward, just set the registers that's due. But on STM32F407VE it seems more tricky: using PA6 and PA7 on TIM3, if you follow what is said in the RM0090, page 616, you're not ready to go:Further, I've discovered I had to configure the AF function to the pins 6 and 7 and then attach AF to TIM3 setting AF2 to register GPIOx_AFRL on pins 6 and 7: The question is: where in the RM0090 is said to set the AF to enable encoder functionality?(On STM32F103C8 it's not necessary to attach TIM3 to AF, you simply have to follow the recipe, unlike for the STM32F407VE).Would this section of RM0090 be a simply copy-and-paste from RM0008, where it works flawlessly?

Hello,I am reading out of the book, "Embedded Systems Fundamentals with ARM Cortex-M Based Microcontrollers - A Practical Approach Nucleo-F091RC Edition, 2nd Edition. (DEAN)."He reviews the peripherals on the NUCLEO-F091RC and goes into detail on how to provide specifics on this board w/ the STM located on it. Anyway...I am using studio.arm.keil to produce some source onto the board by building and then flashing it. Here is the source:#include <stm32fo91xc.h> #include "delay.h" #include "field_access.h" #include "gpio.h"   #define LED_R_OFF_MSK (GPIO_BSRR_BS_5) #define LED_R_ON_MSK (GPIO_BSRR_BR_5) #define LED_G_OFF_MSK (GPIO_BSRR_BS_6) #define LED_G_ON_MSK (GPIO_BSRR_BR_6) #define LED_B_OFF_MSK (GPIO_BSRR_BS_7) #define LED_B_ON_MSK (GPIO_BSRR_BR_7)   void RBG_FLASHER_INIT(void) { RCC->AHBENR |= RCC_AHBENR_GPIOAEN; MODIFY_FIELD(GPIOA->MODER, GPIO_MODER_MODER5, ESF_GPIO_MODER_OUTPUT); MODIFY_FIELD(GPIOA->MODER, GPIO_MODER_MODER6, ESF_GPIO_MODER_OUTPUT)

Posted on July 14, 2018 at 01:29Hi,what is the procedure to start the system bootloader in the STM32H743 via software. Even newest AN2606 is not clear on this, since none of the mentioned methods fit the STM32H7 registers etc.What I mean:For the F4 the system memory needs to be remapped to 0x00000000, load MSP from value in address 0x00000000 and then a jump to the address stored in address 0x0000004 is done. This works for an F4.On the F7 (also a Cortex-M7) some option bytes have to be configured correctly and then it is basically MSP from 0x1ff0000 and jump to value of 0x1ff00004.But what is the procedure on the H7? The system memory is located like on the F7 on 0x1ff00000 but it is not readable, and because of that no loading of MSP and reading the correct jump address. There is no system memory remapping bit in the SYSCFG register which is what AN2606 suggests to use, the only exception mentioned is for the F7. I think there is either no way to achieve this on the STM32H7 or anoth

Hello,I am using the TIM2 with the STM32G041J6M6 and I am finding problems while enabling TIM2 using registersWith some code I have initiated the timer as reported below (TIM2 clock is enabled) While debugging I can edit some timer registers (ARR,PSC,CCR,SMCR...) directly in the SFRs tab of STM32IDE but not the CR1 and CR2 registers. If I put this line in my codeTIM2-> CR1|= (1<<0);At the end the TIM2 is not enabled and a mess appears on the corresponding output pin,the GPIOA MODER and RCC IOPAEN are affected and cannot be modified on-the-fly in the SFRs tab anymore.All this behaviour sounds weird to me....Any idea why this can happen?Regards

Dear Sir, We will develop system with VL53L1X. Now we are going to port the driver for our Thread RTOS. There are several sample version at candidates such as STSW-IMG007, STSW-IMG009 , STSW-IMG013 and STSW-IMG032. Could you give me some advice for selecting the sample code? which one is better for our case?best regardsDai Sai

When trying to run MLC.ibynb in the MLC repo (STMems_Machine_Learning_Core/MLC.ipynb at master · STMicroelectronics/STMems_Machine_Learning_Core (github.com)), there is error thrown from the with call stack:generateDecisionTree > printTree > formatTree > genNextLineIndexif (getNodeNum(line) == int(num))ValueError: invalid literal for int() with base 10: ''Clearly the line being passed in is empty. Does this result from there being empty lines in the ARFF files generated by the Unico API? Any help is appreciated.

I am working on a test on the stm32f469i_Discovery board.On the stm32f469i, the MIPI interface operates with the OT8009A LCD. Instead of OT8009A LCDs, it is planning to connect the stm32f469 with other LCDs.The LCD control IC uses the ILI9806E while the KD050FWFIA019.I got the initialization data from LCD provider, and I found out that it's for I2C communication.I think it's data. I2C communication data needs to be changed to the MIPI protocol.I don't know how. If anyone can help me, please give me some advice.

In the following HAL function, RTC ISR register is cleared by "Read/Modify/Write" instruction.Couldn't this cause eventual clearing of the ISR flags which may be raised by RTC periphery between "load" AND "store" ?If somebody can confirm that such situation may happen, wouldn't be safer solution to rather write all other bits to "1", since ISR register has only of read-only or clear-only bits or reserved bits?AL_StatusTypeDef HAL_RTC_WaitForSynchro(RTC_HandleTypeDef *hrtc) { uint32_t tickstart;   /* Clear RSF flag */ hrtc->Instance->ISR &= (uint32_t)RTC_RSF_MASK;AL_StatusTypeDef HAL_RTC_WaitForSynchro(RTC_HandleTypeDef *hrtc){ uint32_t tickstart; /* Clear RSF flag */ hrtc->Instance->ISR &= (uint32_t)RTC_RSF_MASK;

I have been testing the ADC on my STM32L0 with 12-bit resolution and for some reason, every measurement I take has a 0.048 V offset. I've tried a different supply voltage (from 1.8 V to 3.3 V), but the offset stays there.This offset starts at the first count, when I apply 0 V to the ADC input and read 130 counts (with 1.8 V Vdda) it stays for the whole range.My voltage source is very stable and I've verified my ADC input voltage and the STM32 supply voltage with 3 different accurate pieces of measuring equipment. The board I'm using is a custom PCB, but I only placed the STM32 and some passive components to get it to function (coupling capacitors and reset pull-up).I also tested multiple boards with different configurations and I always get this offset voltage. I outputed Vrefint and measured it, and I got 1.225 V (specified is 1.224 V) so the ADC reference seems fine too. I was wondering if someone has a suggestion on the possible cause of this offset error? I've been lookin

Dear ST Community,as part of a project to capture analog microphone data, I would like to use my own callback funtions instead of hal callbacks. For this I register my ADC callbacks with the HAL function HAL_ADC_RegisterCallback as follows:/*************** ADC Section Begin ********************/ hadc1.Instance = ADC1; ... hadc1.Init.EOCSelection = ADC_EOC_SINGLE_CONV;   /* Register TIM Callbacks */ HAL_ADC_RegisterCallback( &hadc1, HAL_ADC_MSPINIT_CB_ID, Microphone_ADC_MspInit ); HAL_ADC_RegisterCallback( &hadc1, HAL_ADC_MSPDEINIT_CB_ID, Microphone_ADC_MspDeInit ); HAL_ADC_RegisterCallback( &hadc1, HAL_ADC_CONVERSION_COMPLETE_CB_ID, Microphone_ADC_ConvCpltCallback ); HAL_ADC_RegisterCallback( &hadc1, HAL_ADC_CONVERSION_HALF_CB_ID, Microphone_ADC_ConvHalfCpltCallback ); HAL_ADC_RegisterCallback( &hadc1, HAL_ADC_ERROR_CB_ID, Microphone_ADC_ErrorCallback );   status = HAL_ADC_Init( &hadc1 ); if( status != HAL_OK) { _SYSTEM_LOG( "HAL_ADC_Init
