I have been working F411RE Nucleo board with LL library for quite some time. I found the sample code for SystemClock_Config uses external oscillator as showed below. I wonder if there is any sample for internal oscillator. /* Enable HSE oscillator */ LL_RCC_HSE_EnableBypass(); LL_RCC_HSE_Enable(); while(LL_RCC_HSE_IsReady() != 1) { };   /* Set FLASH latency */ LL_FLASH_SetLatency(LL_FLASH_LATENCY_3);   /* Main PLL configuration and activation */ LL_RCC_PLL_ConfigDomain_SYS(LL_RCC_PLLSOURCE_HSE, LL_RCC_PLLM_DIV_8, 400, LL_RCC_PLLP_DIV_4); LL_RCC_PLL_Enable(); while(LL_RCC_PLL_IsReady() != 1) { };   /* Sysclk activation on the main PLL */ LL_RCC_SetAHBPrescaler(LL_RCC_SYSCLK_DIV_1); LL_RCC_SetSysClkSource(LL_RCC_SYS_CLKSOURCE_PLL); while(LL_RCC_GetSysClkSource() != LL_RCC_SYS_CLKSOURCE_STATUS_PLL) { };   /* Set APB1 & APB2 prescaler */ LL_RCC_SetAPB1Prescaler(LL_RCC_APB1_DIV_2); LL_RCC_SetAPB2Prescaler(LL_RCC_APB2_DIV_1);   /* Set systi

But it is normal to write single blocks continuously (cmd24), but the speed is a little slow. I use FatFs to write multiple blocks (cmd25) to SD card. I can only create a new TXT file, but there is no data in it. And when writing multiple blocks, the SD card always returns BSP_ SD_ Other_ Error, this bothered me for a long time.The procedure is as follows:

Hi,I am using STM32MP153a SOC.Linux kernel version is 5.4.56 (openstlinux-5.4-dunfell-mp1-20-11-12).I would like to generate square signal of 50-200 uS on a certain GPIO every 40 ms using Linux kernel.Also ,at this point I need to read certain registers.What are my options? If there is already an example/application note on the subject,please let me know.I was looking into these options:1)I have already a working timer on my system,which is arm arch timer.It's already generating interrupts ( I can see that number of interrupts is increasing in /proc/interrupts).The question is how do I configure it to generate interrupt every 40 ms and I how do I generate callback to have my registers reading.2)TIM6/TIM12 -STM32 timer.As far as I could see,current examples - pwm,counter,trigger ,does not fit my needs , since they don't have any form of periodic interrupt.PWM example is the closest to what I need - it possibly could generate a signal that I need,but it doesn't have an option to have an

Subj.Cannot find this in CubeProgrammer v 2.6.0 or ST-Link utility.The OTP is 1024 bytes at 0x1FF0F000.

I had powered VPS_TX of ST25R95 on 5V. So, ideally there should be improvement on the magnetic field as per the calculated data using that calculation tool. But I got adverse effect of it. It can't detect the tag, which works fine on 3.3V VPS_TX supply.

I noticed that some ST Cpus support large amounts of RAM. Does this mean that they would run Linux, too. Are there any demo boards and such. Our volumes are 100-400 per year, if we ever start building our own Linux boards.

An example is while( (I2Cx->SR1 & I2C_SR1_ADDR) != I2C_SR1_ADDR)breakpoint on this line means I loop indefinately, breakpoint before and after and it reads ok?I'm using EWARM.

I need to store a password for encryption in otp registers. I configured device tree in tfa:&bsec{ status = "okay"; secure-status = "okay"; enc_pass: enc_pass@0x170 { reg = <0x170 0x10>; st,non-secure-otp; };};&nvmem_layout {    nvmem-cells = <&enc_pass>;    nvmem-cell-names = "enc_pass";};And in uboot and kernel:&bsec{ status = "okay"; enc_pass: enc_pass@0x170 { reg = <0x170 0x10>; st,non-secure-otp; };};NVMEM is configured in kernel defconfig. I can read and write to set otp register in uboot, but i cant read data in linux.I tried this: hexdump -C -v /sys/bus/nvmem/devices/stm32-romem0/nvmemanddd if=/sys/bus/nvmem/devices/stm32-romem0/nvmem of=/tmp/fileAnd i have that error:stm32-romem 5c005000.efuse: Can't read data32 (-5)hexdump: /sys/bus/nvmem/devices/stm32-romem0/nvmem: Input/output error

I want to know what kind of value we fill in this and what affects the AHB Bus please make me understand.const uint8_t AHBPrescTable[16] = {0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9};I tried to find out but only figured out the value of 1 to 9 it is the Prescaler value. and the rest of Zeros why we use it and what it the work of them.

"I'll delete this question once someone answers it, as it is not relevant".Why in second line did some one write ch & 0xFF? ch limits are already 0 to 255 right?

Hi,I am using STM32F413 Nucleo board. I am using MDK5 IDE and HAL libraries. I made an example for reading/writing internal flash based upon a cube project. The idea is to erase interal flash and then to write some data to it. I alreay did some similar porjects but with F0 and F3 series so I am not newbie in that field. However what I am seeing here is that the first time I load application to MCU and run it it won't erase flash. Then I break it, reset and re-run it and it will erase and program everything perfectly. And from this point on it will always work fine. To sumarize. Flash erase is not working only the first time right after I load application into flash. Flash unlock returns HAL_OK while flash erase function returns HAL_ERROR. After I break it, press reset and run it again it will work without a problem (no HAL_ERROR for flash function). I am visualizing data in Memory 1 window where I can see how data is changing.So my code excerpt is as follows:HAL_FLASH_Unlock();

STM32CubeMX does not always update the .project files when code is regenerated on an STM32H7 project. This is especially true when moving a peripheral from one core to the other. For example, I generated a project with SPI1 and I2C4 in the M4 context, and verified the project built cleanly. I then moved the two peripherals to the M7 context and regenerated code. The .project files were unchanged, and both the M4 and M7 projects failed. I manually moved the necessary HAL libraries from the M4 .project to the .M7 .project and everything built cleanly again.The problem was similar when I tried to move USB (and CDC class) from M4 to M7. The USBDEVICE files were moved between cores correctly, but the .project files were untouched.Is there a way to force CubeMX to update the .project files?

Hi, I am trying to import a touchgfx project into cudeIDE and I'm getting the following errorsBLIT_OP_COPY_L8 was not declared in this scope (in STM32F7DMA.cpp)andno declaration matches 'void touchgfx::OSWrappers::taskYield()' (in OSWrappers.cpp)I'm working on an Emerging Displays EVK070019AB boardIf anyone has any ideas what I might be doing wrong I would be very appreciativeKind regardsAlex

Good evening to you all,I’m a first year engineer student in electronics and I’m on a personal project with my STM32F746NG-DISCO. Long story short, we’re making a beacon coverage prototype in the canope of Guyana (in areas of interest) to hinder illegal gold panning.The idea is to use our board’s 2 MEMS microphones to detect a sound, low-pass filter it, FFT it and then make it mathematically useable (but it’s another story).The first step is already bugging us. It seems impossible for me to get the right documentation on those MEMS microphones. They are connected to the CODEC of the board, that’s for sure but how do I even “talk? to the codec using the STM32CubeIDE ? I think we are not looking the right direction or we are too disoriented by our lack of knowledge and experience.I would like to know how those darn MEMS microphones work, where to see the data (apparently with SAI) and how to configure them first (apparently with SPI) or just having a clearer picture of how to use them t

Has anyone been successful using CubeMX to create a CubeIDE bare metal project with Ethernet/LwIP running on the CM4 core of a dual-core STM32H7 processor?If so, I'd greatly appreciate any pointers or examples you can share.

Dear all, on STPM32 datasheet (DS10272 - Rev 12 ) there is this statement: "a meter using the STPM3x can reach IEC class 0.2 accuracy". On IEC standard, for meters, I only found class 0.2s specifications, where class 0.2 is only applied to current transformer. Please can you give me the IEC reference cited? Thanks in advance.

I am using the LPTIM1 to aquire a sensor measurement trough interruption each T period. When I set it in continous mode (reference manual says: To enable the continuous counting, the CNTSTRT bit must be set) everything works out well. HAL_LPTIM_TimeOut_Start_IT(&hlptim1, LPTIM1_PERIOD, LPTIM1_TIMEOUT);LPTIM1-> CR |= 0x00000005; // Enable and software trigger LPTIM1 in continuous modeHowever, I want to set it in single-shot mode (reference manual says: "To enable the one-shot counting, the SNGSTRT bit must be set). So I write:HAL_LPTIM_TimeOut_Start_IT(&hlptim1, LPTIM1_PERIOD, LPTIM1_TIMEOUT);LPTIM1-> CR |= 0x00000003; // Enable and software trigger LPTIM1 in single-shot modeBut the counter keeps going and going as in continuous mode, same behavior. Am I doing something wrong?? I tried both with TimeOut_Start_IT and Counter_Start_IT and the behavior is the same.

Hello,Is there a way to access the Tamper or backup registers or the backup sram from the MCU? Or is it physically imposible to do so?Edit:I am still looking for an answer, I just saw in the RCC registers that I can enable BKPSRAM bits to:enable the peripheral for MP (RCC_MP_AHB5ENSETR) and MC (RCC_MC_AHB5ENSETR)enable the peripheral for MP (RCC_MP_AHB5LPENSETR) and MC (RCC_MC_AHB5LPENSETR) in low powerDoes this mean the MCU is able to access the BKPSRAM peripheral?Although I do not see a clock enable for the TAMP, is it the same for the tamper (and backup registers)?Best regards,Andrés

How to automatically generate CODE documentation using STM32CubeIde ?
