Why can't I include the system standard header files? Why can I generate files even if there are problems as long as the console is fine when compiling? Finally, I can burn the program into the chip and run it successfully.

Update: To get it to work, do a fresh install of the IDE, untick the CDT site in "Available Software Sites" (Help->Install New Software then "Manage"), and then install DevStyle from marketplaceSister issue on the Genuitec forum site: https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/devstyle-not-installing-in-stm32cubeide/I use STM32CubeIDE with the DevStyle Darkest Dark Theme extension from Eclipse Marketplace on two different 64-bit windows 10 computers without problem.Over the past couple of days, I've been trying to install the same plugin on a different 64-bit windows 10 computer but it doesn't seem to work.After a fresh install of STM32CubeIDE_v1.11.0_13638_20221122_1308, I do the following:Click Help->Eclipse Marketplace....Search DevStyleClick Install beside Darkest Dark Theme with DevStyle 2022.6.13aThen I leave the default components selected and I click on the Confirm button: after processing the click for about 20 seconds, I get the following error displayed:The installatio

I am using stm32F103RE with 72mhz timer clock for using timer 1. I set prescalor to 0 and ARR to 35 to make 2MHZ timer interrupt.(72/36=2) to check it I use a variable and add it every 2,000,000 like the code below...I expect it to be added every 1s but it is slower !! and setting it to 2MHZ maked systick timer stops working unless changing the interrupt priority to 15!!can anybody help me?here in the code in IRQ_TIM1:void TIM1_UP_IRQHandler(void){ HAL_TIM_IRQHandler(&htim1); /* making 1s to check interrupt routine */ t1++; if(t1 == 2000000 ) { t1=0; timer_1s++; } /* USER CODE END TIM1_UP_IRQn 1 */}

Hi Team,We are using the Stm32wb55 series for our project and how to load the BLE Stack file through this programmer and which hex file we need to load for our board like stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_extended_fw.bin (or) stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw.bin (or) stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_light_fw.bin for our board.Is there any upgrade document please share it with us.Regards,Srinivas.V

I can't see any other way to check whether CR95HF is in READY state rather then waking it up manually! Sounds nonsense to me, so I assume I'm missing something very important about it! Please, advise on any reasonable solution. P.S. I'm using SPI.

Hello everybody.I use the STM32F746G-DISCO board. I checked all LCD operations using TouchGFX, but at some point, nothing appears on the LCD screen even when I connect USB to the computer.When connecting using STM32CubeProgrammer, only the phrase "No STM32 target found" appears and it is confirmed that connection is not possible.I tried connecting by changing the USB, and tried connecting while pressing the reset button, but the result did not change.What should I do to solve this problem?

I have a QSPI Flash connected to the STM32H70 and it's all been terrific until I realised I can't address the FLASH's (a W95Qxx with 8M) full capacity with my current settings...How can I (or is it even possible to) change the memory address of the external QSPI to allow for the larger memory?In the stm32h7b0xx.h. #define OCTOSPI1_BASE (0x90000000UL) /*!< Base address of : OCTOSPI1 memories accessible over AXIIn the loader...MEMORY { ITCMRAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x00000000, LENGTH = 64K FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x08000000, LENGTH = 64K QSPI (xrx) : ORIGIN = 0x90000000, LENGTH = 4M //works aok but 8M overlaps DATA DATA (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x90400000, LENGTH = 4M DTCMRAM1 (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 64K DTCMRAM2 (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20010000, LENGTH = 64K RAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x24000000, LENGTH = 512K RAM_NOCACHE (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x24080000, LENGTH = 512K RAM_CD (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x30000000, LENGTH = 128K RAM_SRD (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x38000000, LENGTH = 32K }

I am using STM32CubeIDE for my project . when i want to run the code i am getting this pop up.i am not able to solve this issue.

Hi!I got an external display RVT50HQTNWC00-B - Riverdi to work with TouchGFX, but only when showing static images/buttons. I am testing STM32H735G-DK and STM32H743I-EVAL in paralell. These boards are using OSPI HyperRAM and SDRAM respectively to store the framebuffer(s).But for both boards I get the same severe flickering effect :\ when trying to update a simple progressbar every 500ms (see video). The two text areas and button are static objects...I have read the AN4861 and especially page 37. It seems the LTDC FIFO overrun flag is set in every breakpoint in void LTDC_ER_IRQHandler(void) and I have tried/observed a few things:Display is (naturally) set to max frequency 25 MHzSame flickering problem with both boards Single vs double framebuffer has no effectDMA2D has no effectUsing only one LTDC layerUsing RGB565 instead of RGB888 gives somewhat less flickering (gives framebuffer line width to 64/128 bytes)Futher more, I am not sure how these recommendations from AN4861 could be achiev

Red, or blue?The difference is, that in the case of red, the comparator output could be used to detect both edges by redirecting to 2nd timer channel (a.k.a. "PWM input mode").And, in any of these cases, the original input is ORed with the comparator signal, or switched off completely, or something else?Thanks,Jan Waclawek

Hi,The STM32CubeIDE verison is v1.7.0, and now I found it perform full build every time when I click the build button, but I have just built it and didn't modify the source file.So how to do the settings?A full build takes too much time!Thanks!

I am planning to use a STUSB4710 and use the reference schematic from it's datasheet (Figure 7). There is a connection between the STUSB4710 with the ST1S14's feedback pin. Is this how they communicate with each other to get for example 20V or 15V onto the VBUS line?

Hello,The COMParator have option of connection him output to TIMer IC.But timer IC is after edge detection unit.How can I connect the output of COMPx to TIMx in input capture mod (internaly)?

I faced strange behavior on STM32L431CC. I was trying to sequentially add data to archive and at some point the CPU failed to program 8 bytes at address 0x8032018 (8 byte aligned) and at address 0x8034100. I read data from the memory and it is clear (0xff's in all 8 bytes), but unless I program clear 0 I got 0xa8 error (PROGERR, PGAERR, PGSERR). After I erased sector the same value was successfully programmed to the same address.And few other facts:1) The other sectors was successfully programmed while two others are not2) The same sectors still stuck after power on reset3) When one of stuck sectors was erased the other remained stuck4) I was unable to reproduce the situation after I erased both these sectorsJust wondering what it was and should I expect this in the future? Not found anything similar on the forum or in errata.

There is some way to read directly the byte that are send via SPI and not the int8 that is generate by the function?int8_t buffer[BUFFER_SIZE]   HAL_SPI_RECEIVE_DMA(...,(uint8_t*)buffer,...,...)

Can the STM32L4S9AII6 MCU SPI1 be configured as slave and accept a 8-60MHz clock from master? Section 52.2 (page 1852) of the STM32L4S9AII6 reference manual says "Slave mode frequency up to fPCLK/2.", but with the system clock configured in MxCube as 120MHz (max freq) I go to the SPI1 config tab and it has a "Baud Rate" label that is displayed as 8000000. Not sure how baud rate is being calculated and I don't really care. I just want confirmation that I should be able to accept a clock from a master device at up to fPCLK/2 = 120MHz/2 = 60MHz. I have performed months of testing with one master that is clocked around 1MHz. Now I'm having issues as I switch to another master that is clocked at 12.5MHz. I have future plans to make this as fast as possible, so realistically what is my maximum clock frequency that I can accept from a master?I should also note that this other master has a different chip select polarity (not sure about phase), but I have tried changing configuration settings f

Dear community membersWe are using Quad SPI in stm32l476 while having a memory to read data but we are facing an issue. Garbage values when entering memory mapped mode.why is that?Thank you.

I have an STM32F508 board and want to connect a USB stick. However, the stick is not recognized. I get the following messages in the debug messages:DEBUG : Cannot allocate memory for MSC HandleDevice not supporting MSC class.Tried it with the same settings with a STM32F411 board. Here it works.Can anyone tell me where the problem is?

So I am setting up the DMA for USART1 tx on a STM32F4 on each transfer, and busy wait for it to be done (no interrupt) by polling TC. DMA2_Stream7->NDTR = len; DMA2_Stream7->PAR = (uint32_t)&(USART1->DR); DMA2_Stream7->M0AR = (uint32_t)str; DMA2_Stream7->FCR |= DMA_SxFCR_DMDIS;   DMA2_Stream7->CR = (0x4 << DMA_SxCR_CHSEL_Pos) | DMA_SxCR_MINC | DMA_SxCR_DIR_0 | DMA_SxCR_PL_1 | DMA_SxCR_PL_0 | DMA_SxCR_MSIZE_1;   USART1->CR3 |= USART_CR3_DMAT; USART1->SR &= ~USART_SR_TC;   DMA2_Stream7->CR |= DMA_SxCR_EN;First I ran without FIFO, (Direct mode), but that gave also FEIF and lost tx data. After enabling the FIFO, all data seems to be sent, but I still get the FEIF after each tx block.I tried to reduce the baud rate down to 115200, but I still get the FEIF error...Even if I only send 4 bytes, I get the FEIF, so I figure I must have configured something wrong.I get TCIF on each send, and I think everything is actually sent fine. I'm new to the STM32 and I wanna know how can I make a Delta firmware ? If anyone have an idea or have already worked on it, please share it with me.Otherwise, is it possible to make a program that take the initial firmware and only update the address that have been changed and not the whole program ?

It keep saying that I can't have links in my post because I am new. There are no links in my post.And because I am new, of course I have questions :(Garrett

Hello, To push code using commands, i use this : STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe --connect port=SWD mode=UR reset=HWrst -d file.elfBut I would like the program to run after the programming step is complete (same behaviour as when programmed with STM32CubeProgrammer.I noticed that "run after programming was checked but I don't know how to do that with commands. I watch the possibilities using STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -h but I didn't find it. STM32 : STM32WB5MMGH6TRHave a nice day Laora
