Hello,we designed a PCB with an ST25R2916B which should connected via I2C.As basis for our design we use the schematic for the X-Nucleo-NFC06A1.Our Problem:If we connect the modified (UM2616, Chap. 3.5.1) X-Nucleo-NFC06A1 to a Nucleo32 running the NFC_Polling example, it works quit well. But if we connect our own design to the Nucleo32 no I2C communication comes up.We already study the datasheet in detail, but we can't find any reason that the comparison test fail.Question:Is there a reference design for the ST25R2916B with I2C connectivity which we can follow? Our design is:  Thanks for your help,Sebastian

Hello everyone! I'm very new to USB C PD so bear with me.I'm currently designing a very simple temperature controller board that uses a USB C PD power supply. I am using a STM32G071C8U3 as the host MCU. I have connected the CC1 (PA8) and CC2 (PB15) lines to the equivalent on the USB C port and am regulating the voltage from VBUS to 3.3V for the MCU. I've been assuming that plugging in will first deliver some voltage over VBUS in the USB PD range (3V-21V or something like that) and then the micro can negotiate the desired voltage/current, but when I plug in the USB C PD I get 0V on VBUS. What could I be missing? When I plug in a non PD capable supply, everything seems to work find and I get 5V on VBUS and the MCU turns on correctly. But plugging in the USB C PD gets nothing. I've confirmed this USB C PD works by hooking it up to the STM32 GO.Thanks for your time!

I am applying 4 offset to 4 adc channels and calculating the analog watchdog high threshold based on a threshold above the highest adc channel. The purpose of the adc offsets is to equalize the channels readings, such that the adc watchdog high threshold will be the same delta above any of the four channels. The issue I am having is the analog watchdog is triggering on the non-offset values. For instance, if my 4th channel is 0.1V above the 1st channel, before an offset is applied, and I set the watchdog to 0.1V, I get a constant trigger. With the offset applied, the 1st channel equals the 4th channel, but the watchdog is trigger based on the pre-offset values. To summarize, it seems that the analog watchdog triggers on adc readings before the offset is applied. Is there a way to get it to trigger post offset?

Hello!   On my board STM32F401 communicates with CR95HF via SPI use X-CUBE-NFC3.   After powering up, initializing the STM32F401 for 2MHZ SPI, run the st25r95Initialize() function.   I've noticed that CR95HF is unresponsive unless the power from a previous successful session was completely reset to 0V.   Through measurements, I noticed that the lower limit of the normal restart voltage of the CR95HF is 0.26V. If the voltage is below this mark (except for the value of 0V), then when restarting CR95HF does not respond to STM32F401 requests.   In datasheet CR95HF, in $ 3.2 a NOTE: "VPS must be 0V before executing the start-up sequence."   Is there any way to start CR95HF communication without first resetting its power to 0V ? Or need anyway to apply additional power reset circuitry for CR95HF ?

hello.how to put the defined version information(32bit value) in the built image (test.hex or test.bin)?

During several trial to use ACI_GATT_Write_Long_Char_Value,I found that the microcontroller dosen't start its BLE advertisement anymore. It only can indicate wireless firmware version.I think that some transmission cause an error. So, I tried to rewrite FUS and Wireless Stack firmware but it couldn't solve the problem. So, I wonder that there is any way to reset microcontroller completely.

I have old eeprom, aprox of year 1998 of manufacturing. It's written on it ST 5880F 9948K SINGAPORE. Could somebody support me with datasheet for it.I need to make backup of it.

Hi TeamWe are currently working on ST PN: LIS2DW12TR in our new project. Thus, I would like to check with ST whether this part is OK to be Conformal coated? The reason is, our PCB will need to be conformal coating after all the components are populated on it. Hence would like to understand if there is any risk for this ST component to go thru this conformal coating process.Regards,Abishek

I would like to use the PC tool provided to test the FTM ( fast transfer mode) via 3916.I am trying to get the compatible FW for that. Could not be more complicated. The only FW I found to support it is: STSW-ST25DV003. ( Other FW's have old implementation back to 2015 with SNEP and P2P stuff that are practically irrelevant for today ( ST why do you keep that? ) Its very confusing ) The catch : STSW-ST25DV003 FW has crypto stuff in it ( that I don't need, I only need FTM ) and requires ST approval. My approval has been validating for a month now. (says 48 hours..)Is there another FW that supports both FTM and the PC tool for reader 3916?Could you remove the crypt stuff and just release an FTM fw?Or better, just validate?

Hello, I am trying to establish an interprocessor communication between the cores A7 and M4 with the with the Stm32MP157. The example from ST "OpenAMP_TTY_echo" works fine, but as soon as I change the received buffer or try to send a costomize buffer from the M4 side, it is not received correctly by the A7 anymore. This error happens even if I change only one character in the receive buffer.Does anyone have a clue what is going wrong? Thanks.

Hi I am a new bee here, I wanted to create a bootloader to flash two applications, so i need the flash partitions which I didn't got in the datasheet properly.and also I wanted to implement OTA so is this STM32F446RTC6 is capable of all this????

Hello,I'm joining a STM32 developpement project. We'll be 2 person working on the same system, implementing features on the same project. I would like to know what is the workflow to collaborate on STM32CubeIDE. There is not a lot of documentation about it...I'm considering using Git version control (I'm new to this tool). Both of us could be working on a branch. I tested the tool and it seems there is a lot a merging conflicts because of the generated files every time you change something.Solving these by hand seems really tidious (for exemple the .ioc file). What tool is the best to use ? What about eGit in CubeIDE directly ? What is the workflow to work on the same project without corrupting the other work ?How do you work on Git as a team (what branch for who, when do you merge...)Thanks for your help,Adrien

Hello i am trying to make N pulse in some exact time, when i adjust a timer with one pulse mode, everything is ok but pulse always start with a delay because it is basically a pwm single starting with low side and high side. I want my pulse start immediately and after delay. Whatever i try i couldnt make it. (pwm modes, change channel polarity, idle state, counting up or down etc..)Please somebody help mePulse timer output channel normally must be low state. My signal looks like this, but if you look closely signal starts with a low delay and pulse after, how to make it start with a pulse after delay?

Hi,Could you please suggest a direction with my problem?I try to read and write data to a sensor via i2c with DMA1 in an STM32 Nucleo F401 board where a FreeRTOS is running.I can read the sensorata with polling methode, and next to the I2C an UART is running with the DMA2 correctly. I have checked and the MX_DMA_Init is running before the MX_I2C1_Init.When I try to write to the sensor as a master with DMA(HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit_DMA) with the "i2c1 event interrupt" and "i2c1 error interrupt" disabled in the FreeRTOS the parattet tasks are just running fine just the callback HAL_I2C_MasterTxCpltCallback is not triggered. And when i am enabling the" i2c1 event interrupt" and "i2c1 error interrupt" from the CubeMX two parallel task in the Free rtos are running at once and then no more parallel schedulling is happening and the HAL_I2C_EV_IRQHandler function is called periodically and leaving the function in the last else branch where the /* Do nothing */ is commented.Could you please sugges

Dear allAfter having enabled ETH + LwIP stack we are experiencing that something in the init phase are keeping blocked all. After a while we see that the root causes is inside HAL_ETH_ReadPHYRegister.Specifically we are referring at this part of code:Is there any way to make this in a better way?Davide

Hi,I've just tried to set up TIM2 on an STM32G0B1RE in CubeMX like this:The exact purpose shouldn't matter for this question, but the timer is supposed to generate an interrupt when a LOW pulse of a given minimum length is detected on an external signal, entirely in hardware. I already have a plan for how to do that. The problem is that with this configuration, the ETR pin (for the gate input signal) actually seems to become an output! After some head scratching, I found that this only happens if I use specifically Channel 1 for Output Compare. I assume that's because ETR1 and CH1 are somehow connected internally and can't be freely used at the same time. It just surprises me that this matters even in "No Output" mode, and CubeMX did not stop me from configuring it this way. It DOES stop me from using "Output Compare CH1", the tooltip of which is so far the only indication that ETR1 and CH1 might be related that I could find. Admittedly I just skimmed the reference manual, but couldn't

Hi, Below is the design1) input voltage at inverting side is 8V with the 4.7k series connecting to inv terminal2) voltage at non inverting terminal is fixed at 3.5V.3) the difference between inputs is greater than 1V(Vid=1V). 4) My question is whether OPAMP have clamp diode at both inputs?. If it is there, kindly share that schematic 5) As per datasheet 1mA is specified as the max input current. pls share one example calculation for calculating input current

Hello, I am trying to learn bare metal programming and servo motor control with my stm32f407g-disc1 card. I cannot move the servo motor with stm. I tried with arduino to check if the problem is in the motor and the motor worked. I thought my PWM signal was wrong and I found codes from the internet but it didn't work again. I am attaching the code and logic analyzer graphs. Can you help me what could be the problem?void GPIO_Init(void); void TIM2_Init(void); void TIM4_ms_Delay(uint32_t delay);   void GPIO_Init(){ RCC->AHB1ENR |= 1; //Enable GPIOA clock GPIOA->AFR[0] |= 0x00100000; // Select the PA5 pin in alternate function mode GPIOA->MODER |= 0x00000800; //Set the PA5 pin alternate function }   void TIM2_Init(){ RCC->APB1ENR |=1; TIM2->PSC = 16-1; //Setting the clock frequency to 1MHz. TIM2->ARR = 20000; // Total period of the timer TIM2->CNT = 0; TIM2->CCMR1 = 0x0060; //PWM mode for the timer TIM2->CCER |= 1; //Enable channel 1 as ou

If there is some other solution to it, apart from changing the uC, please suggest.
