Set Blue button(wake up 2) as wake up source and shut down. Press blue button will wake up system and print wake up source.With cube debugging environment, everything is fine. It shows wake up source is 2But after stop cube debugging, disconnect JP6 on board, and connect JP6 again. Repeat this test, the wake up source is always 0. This is a problem.Can somebody repeat my test and help me to figure it out please?Thank you. Hello,what is the maximum input clock for the SAIs and I2Ss for the H7 ?I mean "sai_x_ker_ck" and "spi_ker_ck".I couldn't find it in neither RM nor DS.Is it dependent on some AHB / APB or D1/2/3 clock?98.304 MHz is working (it is also in the RM's examples), even when abusing it to create a sample rate of 384 kHz.

HI.The STM32F412RE flash memory size is 512 kB.Why 1024 KB is accessible.write and read successfully.?

Posted on March 29, 2017 at 21:21I recently upgraded to a new version, 4.20, and its has been giving us a lot of issues. Unfortunately I deleted 4.18 installer, Is it possible to provide a download link to an older version of the cube?I am working on a commercial product and things like these are a big time sink for us.

Does touchgfx have a function that can directly change the color of the image in the image widget, similar to the recolor function of the image widget in LVGL, to re-color the image into a pure color image. If touchgfx does not have this function, is there a way to achieve this function?

Hello,another day, another problem...I just started with a custom board. But i am using parts which are already working on boards from ST so i thought it will be easy to adapt.I started a new project and if i use internal RAM for a touchgfx box everything is fine.As soon as i add the SDRAM to the linker file i have a lot of lines (black or just not read from sdram correctly?).For SDRAM the MT48LC4M32B2 with 16MB is used like in a lot of disco or eval boards.MCU is running at 200MHzMy FMC / SDRAM Settings:#define REFRESH_COUNT ((uint32_t)0x0603) /* SDRAM refresh counter */ #define SDRAM_TIMEOUT ((uint32_t)0xFFFF) #define SDRAM_MODEREG_BURST_LENGTH_1 ((uint16_t)0x0000) #define SDRAM_MODEREG_BURST_LENGTH_2 ((uint16_t)0x0001) #define SDRAM_MODEREG_BURST_LENGTH_4 ((uint16_t)0x0002) #define SDRAM_MODEREG_BURST_LENGTH_8 ((uint16_t)0x0004) #define SDRAM_MODEREG_BURST_TYPE_SEQUENTIAL ((uint16_t)0x0000) #define SDRAM_MODEREG_BURST_TYPE_INTERLEAVED ((uint16_t)0x0008) #define SDRAM_MODEREG_CAS_

Hello.i use SPC5Studio tooli started import samples from application library / Bootloader ...the project complie is ok.i modified Makefile. i know this file automatically generatedbut i must modify the compile option"HEX = $(U_GHS_PATH)gsrec -hex386" to "HEX = $(U_GHS_PATH)gsrec -hex386 -crc32"and then, this compile is ok.but. If i generate it again, the additional option disappears (-crc32).prevent the makefile from being regenerated,I want to put an option in the place that creates the makefile.thanks

Hi,i would like to create a static lib with cube without any debug information (this is to share with third party)I have created static lib and add it to another project and call API(function define in lib), during debug it is showing complete c code, hiding c code would be sufficient in this case.I tried with adding object file instead static lib .a but result is same.I read somewhere that during static lib creation uncheck “debug information? option but unable to locate it in the STM32cudeIDE.

I am writing code for the STM32F031K6T6 MCU using the Keil uVision. The IDE information is shown in the image below: The C/C++ options for Target are configured as shown here: I started a new project, selected the chip, and configured the run-time environment as below: I initialized the clock and configured the Flash registers for the appropriate latency. I tested the frequency using MCO and it seems correct. I also initialized some GPIOs, UART, and the SysTick. The peripheral registered is modified as expected as seen on the System View for the respective peripheral in the debugging mode.The problem is that some functions, such as functions for sending and receiving data via UART and some functions that use GPIO ports only work in debugging mode when I run the code line-by-line. If I click the run button the code gets stuck and the chip stops responding. I still see the VAL and CURRENT registers of the SysTick updating.This is an example of a function that works:void Sy

I checked syntax coloring and it will highlight external SDK function in bold purple. But when I created my own project, these HAL functions are not highlighted in bold purple as shown in ST example projects. You may see the difference below.Many thanks if detailed steps are provided. I searched and found similar questions, but the answer is quite general regarding syntax coloring but didn't show how to make HAL functions in my own project highlighted.Best,Leon

Are there register programming references for specific boards?Its really confusing when there are a whole bunch of "STM32" cpus, that i would think should share common register offsets, but STM32F4 has completely different offsets from STM32L4, for example.(I'm mostly interested in the GPIO, for led and button)So far, the best I've been able to do, is try to reverse-engineer the combined headers.But there are so many layers, its confusing.I'm trying to write assembly, so using the headers as-is, is not possible.My specific products of interest areNucleo-ST32F401RENucleo-ST32L476 (VG?)

Hello,I'm working on my customized board with STM32H747XIH6 MCU which is connected to the DPRAM (Part No: 70T653MS12BCGI). The connectivity is as follows.While I'm trying to read and write from the DPRAM after 22 locations the software hangsI have attached my code snippet hardware configuration file and console message below for your reference.uint8_t MemCheck(uint32_t startAdd, uint32_t endAdd) { uint8_t jCount = 0; uint32_t iCnt = 0; uint32_t Data = 0; uint32_t AddRange = 0; unsigned int addout = 0; AddRange = (endAdd - startAdd)/4; for(jCount = 0; jCount < 4; jCount++) { for(iCnt = 0; iCnt < AddRange; iCnt++) { addout = startAdd;   addout = startAdd+(iCnt*4); *(uint32_t*) (addout) = addout; } for(iCnt = 0; iCnt < AddRange; iCnt++) { addout = startAdd+(iCnt*4); Data = *(uint32_t*)(addout); if(Data != addout) { return 0xFF; //Test Failed } } } return 0x00; } Console Message : handle_vCont_t, Failed halting threadhandle

Hello,I have a doubdt and I haven't found the solution on the internet (probably I haven't asked properly or I have been missunderstood)The thing is that I have a peripheral driver,with a function to write and read to and from SPI, and between them, I have a delay.If I have a Task, and from this task I call that function, with the delay being osDelay(), will it work, as the normal behabiour of calling osDelay from the task itself (allowing other tasks to run during the delay).Thank you so much!

Hi,I just installed the version 4.21.1 to play around with svg images and I just found out that there is no way to change the color of the image in the 'svg image widget' whereas it's possible to do so in the traditionnal 'image' widget. Why is it so? Is there a particular reason for that or is it just an oversight?Thanks you.

Hello , I followed 1 qt-wpe-simple-browserfrom here : https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/How_to_install_a_simple_web_browserbut getting the error in launching the browser on executing this command : qt-wpe-simple-browser http://google.com QQmlApplicationEngine failed to load components qrc:/main.qml:3:1:module "org.wpewebkit.qtwpe" is not installedwhich package i have to install?I am already connecteed to network and I am on Ecosystem 3.0regards,D

 As you can see in the above image, I'm trying to design a motor controller. But pin 16 of L293D requires a 5v input as VCC1 but the maximum output a STM gives is 3V. I wanted to know how to convert and map the 3V to 5V using a passive component?

I have a board based on the STM32L4R9 Discovery board. A key difference is that my board has Micron external flash (MT35XL512ABA1G12-0SIT) rather than Macronix (MX25LM51245GXDI0). The ST-LINK programmer fails to erase my flash, presumably because the OCTOSPI timings are different. It appears I have to build a custom external loader as I don't see one in https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32-external-loader.I am struggling to find the necessary timing data for the Micron flash. Has anyone done this already?

In NFC06A1_PollingTagDetect sample project, the function demoTransceiveBlocking blocks forever when in card emulation mode.Using the sample project NFC06A1_PollingTagDetect in X-CUBE-NFC6 Software for STM32 and try the card emulation mode. Sometimes, the demoTransceiveBlocking( ) function does not return, if an android phone (NFC reader) is removed away from the antenna. Basically, the program stays in RFAL_NFC_STATE_DATAEXCHANGE state with err = ERR_BUSY in this scenario.Is this any better way to identify that the phone (NFC reader) is remove away from the NFC06A1? By adding a timeout etc... ? I notice that it gives ERR_LINK_LOSS when the phone gets close to the NFC06A1 again. Can we get this error message right away when the link is loss and the RF field is gone?

Hello, I 'm working on porting the RFAL for a ST25R3916B application. I read through the description of platformProtectST25RComm() but I just wanted to clarify: is this disabling all interrupts on the MCU so that nothing will mess up the SPI communication, or is this disabling the interrupt line coming from the ST25R3916B?

I am using the Audio Playback and record exaample.I modified Systeem_clock_config as follos /* Enable HSE Oscillator and activate PLL with HSE as source */ RCC_OscInitStruct.OscillatorType = RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_LSI | RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_HSE; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSEState = RCC_HSE_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSIState = RCC_LSI_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLState = RCC_PLL_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLSource = RCC_PLLSOURCE_HSE; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLM = 8; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLN = 336; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLP = RCC_PLLP_DIV2; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLQ = 7; if (HAL_RCC_OscConfig(&RCC_OscInitStruct) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }Then ran the RTC config from a Cube generated source My main is stubbed out to do the following SystemClock_Config();   /* Initialize MEMS Accelerometer mounted on STM32F4-Discovery board */ if(BSP_ACCELERO_Init() != ACCELERO_OK) { /* Initialization Error */ Error_Handler(); } MemsID = BSP_ACCELERO_ReadID(); // RTC does not initi

In the User Manual UM2435  for Nucleo STM32 provided the next schematic But in PCB we see the next I think that the next schematic is actual, is it correct?

Is it possible to run touchgfx on the STM32MP1?   TouchGfx can be run on the STM32F4 with the M4 core. Is this also possible on the M4 core of the MP1?   Is there any support from ST or has anyone already implemented this?

I'm using STM32MX Cube to assign pins for different features.I have a lot of communication ports and GPIO:s enabled in my STM32H750.I have prototype 1 working, I noticed that when I add for instance an extra I2C other pins move without notice. For instance, LTDC RGB pin R0 moves to another pin on STM32.I have also seen that LTDC is disabled suddenly wihtout any notice.Quesiton. Is it possible to lock current pins in STM32MX cube?Else How do I see all pins that changed when I add a new I2C? is there any log file?This is a bit stupid from my point of view. And it may cause a lot of issues in next revision of this board if I dont tanke my time and check all 240 pins...Thanks,
