BLDC back emf problem using Motor Work Bench

We're in the process of designing BLDC motor controller for solar pump (1HP and 2HP), we plan to use `STGIB15CH60TS` IPM to drive motor and `STM32F103RC` as controller. We started design using `MotorControl Workbench 5.4.4`, however in this we are not able to figure out pin assignment to be made for Back-EMF signals. We need design six-step motor controller with Back-EMF (sensorless). Could you please guide on how to configure design in `MotorControl Workbench 5.4.4` to utilize Back-EMF feedback to ADC Pins? Thanks!

Hello snair.1

The support of the six-step is pretty limited in the MCSDK 5.4.4.

We introduced few six-step examples and use the Workbench as a generation tool, not as a configuration tool.

This is a first step toward the workbench 6.0 that will provide a dedicated UI to configure six-steps project.

The configuration capabilities in the MCSDK 5.4.4 is dedicated to FOC algorithm only.

If you plan to use a STGIB15CH60 IPM, we support in the MCSDK 5.4.4 the STEVAL-IPM15B board that can be plugged with aSTM32F1 control board (Eval board or Nucleo + IHM09 adaptater board) . But it will generate a FOC project.

Kind Regards

Cedric
