I am using STM32H7S78-DK.

I don't understand how to use the compare tool in cube mx project.

My project consists boot and application software, i.e., a total of four different software versions.

Which software does the compare tool compare?

How can I select the software?

Compare Projects is a new feature, it is designed to enable the comparison of two projects, based on the same
or on different microcontrollers. This tool allows users to efficiently analyze and correlate similarities and differences in IP configurations and project structure between two projects.

I suggest that you consult UM1718 section 5.2 Compare Projects.

Thank you very much for your message.

I cannot find any reference to this issue in UM1718

For example:
Project 1:
Boot software does not use middleware RTOS.
Application software uses middleware RTOS.

Project 2:
Boot software uses middleware RTOS.
Application software does not use middleware RTOS.

The result displayed in the compare tool does not take into account the different settings in the project.
