You can configure the SWO output in the configurator (CubeMX), but in fact, SWO is not present in the microcontroller.

Thank you so much for escalating this behavior. The SWO is not supported on all MCUs based on the Cortex-M0+. So, this should be a wrong behavior for the STM32CubeMX that i've escalated for correction on the future (under internal ticket number 218523).
