No problem when using the I2C (I2C + BDMA) mode as long as there is the definition of hdmatx and hdmarx in the stm32h7xx_hal_i2c.h file.

Yes, the generated code will not report an error, which I also know. But what I mean is, have you actually measured it available?

Perhaps you can use the generated code to read an i2c sensor.
