I have looked around and can find the _minimum_ spec but my PC is considerably better than that. What is the minimum _usable_ spec and the suggested one (obviously the better the better)? Also are there any tricks for speeding up the IDE (specifically loading) - I am concerned that just throwing more memory at my PC will make it slower loading as Cube has more to count and has to figure out what it can do with it ;)

Getting an SSD is usually the best bang for the buck in terms of performance.

Very interesting, thank you! - moved the CubeIDE installation to my SSD and it is 5 times faster! Went from 50S (you can see whay I was perturbed!) to 10S (which TBH is still pretty terrible for what is basically an editor).
I presume that loadsa RAM is only needed if I want to run multiple instances of it.
