LOAD segment with RWX permissions

STM32CubeIDE 1.18.1:

 

I'm getting

on nearly every project. I read somewhere to change

 I did that in STM32F103C8TX_FLASH.ld

to no avail.

How can I get rid of that warning?

I also added (READONLY) to .ARM.extab

Looks like one has to add the READONLY attribute to anything that goes to the FLASH section.

After applying that, the warning went away. Very weird.

Are you building projects with 1.18.1 that were created with a previous version? If so, this could be down to the gcc toolchain upgrading to a version after 11.3.rel1 - more information in this thread.
