Issues with Running STM32 Projects on a 14-inch AMD Laptop

Hello fellow members,

I’ve been facing some challenges in running STM32 projects smoothly on my 14-inch AMD laptop. I believe it could be a compatibility issue related to the configuration or my development environment. Here's a brief description of my setup and the issues I'm experiencing:

I am using STM32CubeIDE and ST-Link for debugging, but my laptop seems to struggle with performance when handling larger projects, specifically when compiling complex code or running real-time debugging. The laptop itself has sufficient specs, but I feel like something might not be optimized.

Has anyone here worked on STM32 development using AMD-powered laptops? Specifically, I’m using a 14 inch AMD laptop  with the latest processor models. I’ve noticed occasional lags in the IDE when debugging or compiling larger projects, which isn't typical on other systems I've used.

Could the issue be with the laptop’s power settings, or should I consider specific configuration tweaks within STM32CubeIDE or the drivers? Also, I’ve seen some people recommend using different USB ports or ensuring certain drivers are up to date. Any tips would be appreciated!

Looking forward to hearing any experiences or suggestions from others using similar setups. Let me know if anyone has encountered similar issues and has found any solutions.
