I am unable to establish communication between STM32CUBE IDE and Nucleo STM32L412 board.

Whenever I try to debug the software I am getting following error:

But I can see that ST LINK driver is installed and it is detected as shown below:

Hey .

Please update your st-link firmware package and if its still not working , check sleep mode configuration , may be your mcu goes in sleep mode , 1) You have to ground the BOOT0 pin (check your nucleo's configuration) and 2) There is one more thing some time MCU goes in power power on reset mode , just ground the NRST pin for second during connecting the board (Try 1 & 2 in cube programmer may be it will help you).

Hello,

I have also updated the st-link firmare package and still not working.

Without any board changes I am able to successfully connected through cube programmer.

Even I have erased the complete chip using cube programmer.

At first, welcome to the community.

Try to check the wiring cable and find one you know for sure is a data cable, preferably one with twisted pair data wires and shielded.
