Error in initializing ST-Link

Hello Sir,

     I'm new to this STM 32 environment. I'm using Nucleo F429ZI board when I try to debug the board it shows the following error.

"Error in final launch sequence:

Failed to execute MI command:
target remote localhost:61234

Error message from debugger back end:
localhost:61234: Connection timed out.
Failed to execute MI command:
target remote localhost:61234

Error message from debugger back end:
localhost:61234: Connection timed out.
localhost:61234: Connection timed out."

Please help me to solve the issue.

Is this happening with STM32CubeIDE? Have you tried with version 1.12.1?

Could you, please, provide the debug configuration for this board and attach the GDB server log file to further analyze the issue.

Hello,

Could you connect the target to STM32CubeProgrammer . If it is connected successfully , try to:

- Erase the Flash with STM32CubeProgrammer

- Disconnect STM32CubeProgrammer from the target

- Debug the program using ST-LINK_gdbserver
