Query Regarding ST_Link support in SEGGER EMBEDDED STUDIO

Aks
Associate

Hello

We have a few queries regarding the use of ST-Link for debugging, and I would greatly appreciate your assistance in this matter.

  1. We are currently using a J-Link Base probe for debugging the STM32MP157F processor in SEGGER EMBEDDED STUDIO, and we are successfully performing multi-core debugging with the J-Link.Could you please confirm if ST-Link can be used to debug the A7 core in SEGGER Embedded Studio? If so, could you kindly provide the necessary settings or configuration required for debugging using ST-Link, as well as the process for performing multi-core debugging with ST-Link?
  1. We are also planning to work with the STM32MP257 processor in the near future. Could you please recommend an ST-Link model that is compatible with both the STM32MP157F and STM32MP257F processors?

Thanks & Regards

As the name suggests, Segger Embedded Studio is a Segger product - not ST - so you need to go to Segger for support with their tool!

AIUI, Segger Embedded Studio is for microcontroller development - not MPUs ?
