Hi @MVENN.1
Please follow carefully the Getting Started
Just pay attention that when reconnecting during download the USB device is well catch by your Virtual Machine and not your host

Try to start a console on the VCP provided by the STLINK (115200,n,8,1), there is maybe useful messages
Check BOOT switches
Please have a look to the end of the page for Led blink signification (if the platform start) https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Getting_started/STM32MP1_boards/STM32MP157x-DK2/Let%27s_start/Populate_the_target_and_boot_the_image
Supply must USB Type-C compliant, uBoot use CC lines advertising to check supply capabilities.
You could try to connect to a PC, it usually start, but with 2 blinks (detected as a 500mA supply). There might be issue if you connect powerful USB peripherals to the DK2.
Example of validated supply are (not limited to) :
- Raspberry Pi SC0217
- IKEA ASKSTORM 23W (1CPSW5-23EU-1)
- ARTESYN DA45C-J3W
- CHOETECH TC0001
- etc...
