What do you mean by "a classic bluetooth device" ???

Anyways the response is YES.

Please refer to the STM32CubeWB FW package under directory : Applications/BLE

There are lots of BLE projects and you can find some that use a Smarthone.

Yes you can connect to a classic Bluetooth device. The BLE standard (starting from Bluetooth 4.0) is just an extension of the classic Bluetooth standard with a key focus on low power consumption.

I read that BLE is independent of classic bluetooth and has no compatibility so i'm a little confused : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluetooth_Low_Energy

In STM32CubeWB FW package i can find the exemple between 2 BLE devices but in can't find an exemple between a BLE device and a classic bluetooth device. Do you have some project exemples ?

In fact BLE devices can connect to smart bluetooth devices but not to classic bluetooth devices. See presentation in attachement.

(i couldnt find any)

Or any ST preferred third party solution?

Ive been looking at TI solutions (CC2541), or even the ESP32 but i would preffer to stick with ST
