I am having the same problem. However, i no longer have a cube file associated with my project, so I can't easily regenerate the files. Do you know which specific files need upgrading? Or is there an easy way to link a cube file into the project and prevent it from writing over any user code in the process?

I figured it out. I created a new TGFX designer project with the same MCU. then copied the STM32DMA files to my other project.
