When using the STMF479, if the DHIHOST function is not used, can the corresponding pins be left unconnected?

Hello @sryuj.1 ,

I advise you to refer to the STM32F479xx Datahseet relevent for your device for more clarification on DSI Host functionality.

This document will guide you to configure the pins, and you will find this detail:

"If DSI functionality is not used at all, then:

  • VDDDSI pin must be connected to global VDD.
  • VCAPDSI pin must be connected externally to VDD12DSI but the external capacitor is no more needed.
  • VSSDSI pin must be grounded.

"

You have also this helpful guide AN4860 Application note DSI Host on STM32F469/479, STM32F7x8/x9 and STM32L4R9/S9 MCUs.

Hope this helps you, and please don’t hesitate to come back for more clarification or any question.
