On Linux, when I double-click on the TouchGFX-4.21.1.msi file in the Utilities/PC_Software/TouchGFXDesigner folder, it does not bring up the installer. Instead I get the error 'Could not display TouchGFX-4.21.1.msi file.' How do I install Designer ?

I doubt it is ever possible because TouchGFX designer is a Windows-only software. You can try to run it using `wine`, but I personally haven't tried and can't say whether would it work or not.

Thanks for getting back to me. I missed the introduction to the documentation which reads: 'TouchGFX can also be used on Linux, and even though the TouchGFX Designer cannot be run natively on Linux, the code generate[d] by the TouchGFX Designer works on both Linux and Windows. The sug[g]ested solution to this is to run the TouchGFX Designer in a virtual machine running Windows. This allows the developer to use the Designer when needed, and use the normal Linux environment anywhere else.'
