why is there such a bad attitude to writing documentation ?
English is not the main language for me, but even I see a lot of spelling errors in the documentation, are you forbidden to check ?

Because it is a chore, and the people writing it are probably not the people building/designing it.
Logical thing here is a flop-flop to synchronize the secondary signal with the carrier so the AND gate doesn't get artifacts and beat/modulation related to disparities in the frequencies being mixed.

In general, because whoever is doing the document is probably rewarded for getting the document done, but not so much for making it perfect. And it is a 150 page document, there are going to be issues. Might also be the figure didn't translate to PDF properly. Anyone who has converted things to PDF runs into issues. I have 3 ways to create a PDF from a document on my computer and all 3 ways produce slightly different PDFs. Doesn't make sense, but that's how it is.

Judging from the majority of questions here, I bet ST is financially rewarded a lot more for adding new features into CubeMX than doing a detailed review of documentation. It's never a question of do X or not do X, it's a question of where to put resources. Want more documentation reviews? Something else suffers. Always a choice.
