What is the highest External Timer Counter frequency on STM32L4?

We are using TIM1 and TIM2 in External Clock Mode 1 with a direct connection to a pin using TI1FP1.

What is the maximum counting frequency, and more specifically, minimum pulse width detectable?

As ETR is sampled , maximum frequency is fTIMxCLK/2. Have a look at the datasheet e.g. 6.3.27 Timer characteristics for L476
