USB Supply needed for STM32L072CBT6

Hi ,

I am using STM32L072CBT6 MCU for my project. I have to use the USB pins of the controller, but in datasheet it shows the minimum preferred USB VBUS voltage is 3V. But the thing is in the same datasheet the USB VBUS voltage range is mentioned as 1.7V to 3.6V. So I am confused about the USB VBUS voltage.

No conflict in the docs. In both doc fragments above the minimum VddUSB value required for the correct USB operation is 3.0 V + that's typical for any USB front-end hardware. Voltage below 3.0 V may be used if USB is not used.
