TFT 16bit connections

Hello Everyone

I want connect stm32F LCd controller to TFT lcd but 16 bit because I have lack of pins . how should I connect the RGB pins of STM32 to RGB pins of the LCD ?

In case I use the LTDC contrller in 16bits , Can I use the unused pins RGB of the controller for other fucntions ?

Ok. edited the post then .. PS: There is no STM32UF9 part number.

What do you mean by "floating pins of the LCD"?? RGB pins? in that case why? You said:

So I understood you will use LCD with less pins of what available on STM32.

Hello

The TFT lcd is 24 bits RGB ; I will use 16 bit only and I will connect the MCU STM32 to LCD as you suggested in AN4861.

But my question

What about the unused pins now in the lcd , I have 8 data pin of the lcd not used , should I leave them floating ?

or connect them to ground?

I think you need to connect them to the GND but you need to refer to the datasheet of the LCD.
