Hello,

In India, the STM32F407 discovery board is out of stock. I enquired many vendors like element14, Digikey and other locals, it's not at all available. Did ST stop the production of this ? Will it be availabel in the future ? which is the close replacement for this board.

Not exactly, the lead time means that boards YOU order today will be delivered 54 weeks later, others with orders already in the queue will get there's over that year depending on where in the queue they are.

What features of the board are critical? Could at NUCLEO 64 or 144 from the F4 suffice?​

For the education setting could a board that's not a decade old be a better choice for training today's students​?
