STM32F4-Discovery Boot0/1 De-soldering

Greetings,

I'm wanting to shave every bit of power I can off of this board and was thinking of de-soldering the Boot0 and Boot1 bridges.  Question is, will this adversely effect the bootloader in any way?  Currently it seems like by default both bridges are soldered, but this of course causes a bit of power loss across those resistors.

Per the manual, if I de-solder certain bridges a certain way, that simply sets the pattern for bootloader usage.  But will this break anything?  I'd like to be able to use the board normally.
