in the process of or at least i want to backup the mcu data and transfer it over to another mcu,  i can connect and see the mcu with my pe cyclone fx but when i read and dump the data i get a empty file 768kb.

That would explain what you're seeing. It would help if you told us what the RDP option byte is set at. Shouldn't have to guess.

This is all new to me , I am no expert hence am here asking for help , to some one that does this on a daily bases gurus and experts it’s common things to look for , To us learning and tinkering around it’s all a learning process, I do want to thank every one that provided any type of opinion in the hopes of helping me out , than you every one .
