Hi,

on STM32F40x datasheet

http://www.st.com/st-web-ui/static/active/en/resource/technical/document/datasheet/DM00037051.pdf

from page 45 to 57 there is a pinout and pin description table.

How could recognize an active low pin in the alternate function column of the table?

Thanks

I don't understand the question, restate with some more precise context.

You mean NRESET, FSMC_NWE and TIM1_CH1N ? With an N strategically in the name/function?

yes i rephrase the question: does a letter N in the name of the signal indicate that it is active low? For example TIM1_CH1N on PB13 means !TIM1_CH1?

It's technically not an inversion, as the output can be modified with respect to CH1
